Mark Gillespie, who is the founder of Three Six Zero and manager of Calvin Harris (among others), was interviewed by Music Business Worldwide and he said the following about Adam.
Can you talk about the transition from Calvin Harris the frontman to Calvin Harris the superstar DJ? Some people in the states might not know that he started out as a singer, very much in front of the decks – before embracing his kingmaking roles as the architect behind the scenes...
"It's one of the smartest decisions that he made in his career – and it was all him. He used the live touring circuit in the early stages of his career to help establish his business and hone his identity. At that moment in time [indie/dance crossover acts with 'frontmen'] was what was happening in the UK, but he saw what was coming and very intelligently saw that the world was turning in a slightly different direction. He also happened to write some of the greatest records ever released at the right time. That always helps."
How good is Calvin?
"His successes broadly speak for themselves. I may seem biased but I think he's the best writer/producer of his generation. I love him as an artist and a person. He's ridiculously hard working, always has been, and he's a huge a supporter of mine. His drive has definitely helped pushed me along over the years."
His pinned tweet, which was the release of "I'm Not Alone (2019)", was removed, so something should be announced sooner than later. If this turns out to be true, I hope it's out next week.
Well... there wasn't any new release from him last month, but there's a new profile picture, which is the one below, and a new (temporary?) header on Twitter, so I hope it's something related to that 'July 17' date.

Make it happen again, Adam!
Kylie told the following to Daily Star.
"I've not worked with Calvin since he became Calvin Harris. I worked with him when he had to stop and have a drink because he was so nervous coming into the studio. He was still making records in his bedroom! But I would like to revisit that, his work is amazing. I did back then and I still love "Acceptable In The 80s"."

He updated his bio in Twitter and Instagram with the following text: "Grammy award winning | Ivor Novello Songwriter of the Year winning | Guinness World Record breaking music producer 🏴" on September 17, as well as posting a new picture in the latter, which the reference of the Amiga 500+ is about his debut album I Created Disco.
Also, some days ago, he included some footage from his studio on Instagram stories with the caption "Revitalized studio alert", so it seems that he's back working in some music. I shazamed the featured track and it's "No Way Out" (Mark & Pauls In And Out Of Therapy Mix) by Highland. Oh! And there's another shirtless photo on Instagram too.
