Based on this thread from last year, I wanted to turn it into the form of a poll. Pitbull hasn't earned a major hit since "Time of Our Lives" in 2014 and despite some minor hits since then such as "Fun" and "Greenlight," he's struggled to come anywhere near his success earlier this decade. Which is not shocking to any of us considering how the industry has changed, but I still want some opinions. As a side question, I'm curious who you think has a better chance at another smash hit: Flo Rida or Pitbull? Obviously Flo has had the most recent smash in "My House."

Flo Rida, hit machine. Pitbull was famous and popular because of his collaborations. Only lead major hits were Timber, I Know You Want Me and Give Me Everything.

Pitbull will definitely get another hit. He just always surprises us with a song we weren't expecting to smash. But as long as he keeps putting out albums, he will have some hits.
Flo Rida too.

I agree with Born In 1989 that Pitbull might surprise us with a hit. He won't get hits often but he might just "accidentally" get a hit with some famous feature. And for the second question, I think Flo Rida is much more likely to have the next hit.

I don't know about Pitbull. Last year 'Options' was a hit in NZ and I was certain it'd smash in the US as well but oh welp I think people moved on from his style
FloRida has a bigger shot but also none lol

I'd say Flo Rida, mostly because he could mask his style enough that it could sound like not him and people would be into it, whereas a Pitbull song will always sound like a Pitbull song and people are over him.

I don't think Pitbull will have any more hits. At least, I hope not. Flo Rida has a better chance of having a smash hit again.

Judging by their current singles, "Hola" and "Por Favor" seems like they're trying to teach us basic Spanish lol! Or they're targeting the Latin market a little more heavily now.

I’m gonna put No more hits for Pitbull and not vote anything else because I have positive vibes today.

No, I think that Pitbull is done. He does surprise us, but it's been 3 years since he had a hit and, unlike Flo Rida, he does actually have a personality, so a person would recognize him instantly on a song. Meaning that people are sick of him. As for Flo Rida, I thought that Whistle killed his career and I Cry killed what was left of it, but then GDFR and My House came out and it hasn't even been 2 years since My House came out, so Flo Rida could still have a second hit, theoretically because of how generic his voice is.

I think if he went away long enough for people to actually miss him, he could make a comeback. He just overexposed himself with an onslaught of increasingly samey songs.
I do also think that going back to his earlier Latin/reggaeton-influenced sound could help, especially considering how big "Despacito" was.

Y'all be saying no now, but when your back is getting blown out to the sounds of Culo '18 Feat. Bad Bunny & Shawn Mendes in a few months you'll see.

I'm gonna say no. I don't think any big names are dying to work with him like they did when he blew up.
I think Flo Rida is more likely to get a hit but I could also see both going away tbh.
(Still love Timber and Wild Ones!)

I like both artists but Pitbull's music sticks with me longer.
