Oh yeah, I second Shakira. She never delivered on her early promise after the turn of the millennium.

How has no one mentioned Calvin Harris yet? He used to be very great. His last album was a huge disappointment, with only 1 good song, Skrt On Me.

Frank Ocean- He's probably not gonna top Channel Orange ever again. Kanye West- I'm one of those weird people who don't consider MBDTF the second coming of Christ. I think The College Dropout and Late Registration have held up a lot better, and nothing else could match up. Green Day- What the hell has Billy been on this decade? Kendrick Lamar- To be fair, I was expecting this to happen since TPAB was released. I mean, how do you follow THAT up? Katy Perry- I liked Teenage Dream. I regret nothing. Jay Z and Beyonce up until their latest albums Imagine Dragons- Night Visions was hit or miss, but I liked some songs on it. Smoke + Mirrors was a lot more meh. Can't stand Evolve at all.

nothing against you. i respect your opinion
In all seriousness though, Calvin did get worse after Ready For The Weekend. But he got better with every album after that.

"Feels" was the only song on his last album that I liked. I thought it was so sad and desperate that he worked with all those random rappers. I cannot help but wonder if he was in a bad place professionally too after him and Taylor broke up. It looks like he totally let himself go and isn't taking care of his appearance and stuff. He looks homeless now.

Skrt On Me is the worst song on the album. Slide, Cash Out, Feels, Rollin, Prayers Up, Holiday & Faking It are all jams.

Gonna have to agree about Beyonce. I mostly like her older stuff.
My next pick is Ne-Yo. His latest stuff is nowhere as good as his earlier ones.

Drake is the obvious answer. his early music was somewhat ok but his recent stuff is unlistenable .

I get that he wants to be all woke and stuff and socially conscious, but it feels so pretentious and extra that it loses its impact. this aged well. His last album FLOPPED & I don't think it has to do w/the actual music quality, rather times have changed. Back in the 2010s people were all over "woke" rap, but in this new decade where we already hear enough politics in our everyday lives, the last thing people want from rap is to feel like they're being preached at OP: OneRepublic. I would divide them into 2 eras: Origin - 2014: One of the best bands of the time, beautiful music with some commercial appeal but mostly made out of passion 2015 on: sellouts just desperately trying to make radio filler that lands

Whether it is good or not doesn't really matter. As a casual fan of their music, I have felt that their recent material has been really hit or miss, more miss than hit sadly. I liked some of their in between stuff. I didn't care for the stuff they did when Timbaland was near them. I never found that hit remix of "Apologize" to be titillating the way most of the world did.

Shakira Jennifer Lopez A Majority of late 90s/2000s Modern Rock Bands like Green Day,Muse Etc. Camila Cabello Maroon 5 Pitbull I disagree about Camila, her strength is singing Latin influenced songs which she had a couple of good ones on her recent Familia album, Hasta Los Dientes and Don't Go Yet are Camila at her best.
