I started this chart to inform you about how many total points a song would have if worldwide charts existed. This chart only uses Sales, Spotify, and Youtube. No airplay will be counted. Ratio: Sales/12, Spotify Streams/1000, Youtube Streams/2500. Remixes/Different Language Versions will count towards a song's points while covers won't. In sales, i go by certifications more than sales numbers due to my sales being SPS and not sales-only, so for example a song is certified platinum but has 100,000 sales, i will count it as a million not as 100k, while also if a song's sales = certification level, i will count by sales, that is if a song is certified platinum but has 1.5m sales, i will count them as 1.5m sales.

Isn't there a united world chart? Here www.mediatraffic.de/previous.htmIt sucks cos whenever a Japanese song is put out, then it debuts at #1 and falls off the top 10 the very next week. The act with the most #1s is some Japanese girl group. I'll take the Billboard Hot 100 and the Beatles with the most #1s any day. It's far from a perfect chart, but still the best pattern of reference for popular songs. Still, this sounds like a cool idea, though I'm confused about the specifics. Why "The Gummy Bear Song"?

^That's OK. Do you know if that's what ChartExpress used for their Global Top 100 videos on YouTube? I guess that'd would be another source as well as kworb.

Yeah, and United World Chart already has an all-time chart compiled: www.mediatraffic.de/alltime-track-chart.htmUWC is not the most accurate, however to be honest I see some things wrong with your method as well. Why eliminate airplay, when of course this reflects a huge portion of a songs popularity? Also, applying a steady formula to sales, Spotify, and YouTube throughout all times can give highly skewed results, as the numbers for each have drastically changed throughout time (in the U.S., Spotify didn't exist before 2011 and YouTube didn't exist anywhere before 2006). Also, to treat SPS certifications as sales and to count Spotify and YouTube in addition to that would result in some duplicate points being assigned, because I'm not sure about YouTube, but on-demand Spotify streams are already included in SPS certifications.

I am well aware of each one's methodologies. I want to create my own world charts using my ratios. Thanks anyways. I will look to these charts as reference for songs to add to my list.

A: I do not count airplay as it is very hard to get airplay values/audiences throughout the whole world. B: Any Song before 2011 will have ratio : Sales /6, Youtube/1000 and before 2006 Sales/2. C:I use SPS because pure sales values are very hard to get.

I use the sources you linked for Youtube and Spotify values, but it is very hard to get values for sales before 2010 using your link.
