After "Dig Down", I wouldn't be so sure of that.

I don't get the hate for this one, this is a really catchy song and the instruments work well. Dig Down I could get, it was basically a weak version of Madness, but this is not a bad song. With that being said, this should not chart on Active lol.

Matt's vocals don't work on this for me.

At least is better than Dig Down. It can grow on me, though.

I low-key love this new sound. I'm quite impresses how they able to kept their songs current and still stayed true to their roots. Matt's voice is just pure earsgasm.

this will be a #1 hit on Alt...it's Muse, so it's gotta be good...not to the level of BH&R era, but still better than most of the current Alt Top10

I'll take this over anything involving John Weezer but everything else in the top 10 is better.
I actually think the top 10 currently idn't very bad. More good songs than bad songs.

Was not a fan of this. Why were there trap beats? The chorus just sounds not right... this isn’t looking good for Muse this album cycle

Okay, I clearly overreacted on the first listen. I'm actually starting to like this now.

The song really has a good melody. Add some proper guitarworks , get rid of the s**tty 2018; trap beats ,and hi-hats, and you could have a cool indie rock song.
can't help thinking I would love the song if it sounded like this?
By the way, this is the official version I will chart of this song. Download? Check.

For me, it's not about the type of instruments you use, it's how use them. These feels very much like a Muse song to me despite the trap-like beats and "millennial whoops" in the chorus. In fact, it's got that big anthemic sing-along quality that I haven't hear much of from them since the Resistance era. They always have done that sound really well, so it makes sense that they would easily adapt to the "arena indie-pop" sound that's in right now. And I agree that it's got a great melody. I'm thinking it might have been the vocals that put me off initially, or maybe I just didn't want to like it, but this has quickly become my favorite single from them since "Undisclosed Desires".

It's funny artists like these find Active success after distinctly separating their sound from Active.

Wow. So many bad comments at the start of this thread, but it seems like a lot of you are coming around on it.
I heard this a few times on the radio over the last few weeks, but this is the first time I'm actually able to focus on the song fully. I really liked it at first and thought it could be one of my favorite Muse singles ever. However, since I watched ARTV speak about the "Whoa. Oh. Whoa. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh." in a recent video of how much of a lazy cliche it is, I don't enjoy it nearly as much. Still, I think so much better than most of you are saying.
