Gaga was iconic, no guests or anyone else but her slaying the stage. Beyonce was great too!

Madonna stands head and shoulders above but the rest. Absolutely phenomenal visuals and performance!

I think in terms of which individual performed the best, it has to be Beyonce, Gaga, Bruce Springsteen and Bruno Mars.
In terms of the whole package of the show (effects, dancers, props, theatrics) you have to go with Katy Perry, Madonna, Black Eyed Peas and Gaga
The problem is some of the great performers had a pretty bare show, while some of the spectacle shows had mediocre performing. Beyonce's was fairly bare, plus she chose some forgettable songs. Bruno was too new at that time and his discography wasn't there yet. Katy was quite the spectacle but she did sound kind of awful in Firework for example. Madonna had a killer entrance but she wasted time with those crappy new songs and the guests were pointless. Not sure why they didn't let her go solo.
This is why my vote goes to Gaga as she performed great but she also put on a good spectacle.

Also wanted to add that BEP were pretty good as well. A lot of people crap on theirs, but I thought it was quite the spectacle and I loved the way they transitioned their songs. Plus they had some huge classics.

Plus they had some huge classics. If it wasn't for the awful sound quality, I would have given BEP some consideration for this. Their show was very underrated other than that.
