YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of my absolute favorite adult pop songs from the 90s! The guitar work is fantastic in that thing!

Iris is okay. Just so tired of it that I couldn't justify putting it above select other songs.

Mamooshka did participate here. But he had another song at 1. JT - thanks for hosting. Went by quickly and the suspense and the comments were fun. LOL - truly impressed with the photographic memory of some of the participants. I suppose that's what makes these boards so entertaining. Attachment Deleted

10. OneRepublic - "Counting Stars" I don't consider many new "pop" songs classics, but this is surely one of them. Good placement for it too.
9. 3 Doors Down - "Here Without You" Never knew this song was so popular among this crowd. Not complaining tho.
8. Santana featuring Rob Thomas - "Smooth" This is a good song, but no way I like it more than the band Matchbox 20 music. 7. Snow Patrol - "Chasing Cars" This is an alright song. I do not get the "hard on" most of you get for it.
6. Matchbox Twenty - "Unwell" Great song. Proper use of banjos too.
5. Maroon 5 - "She Will Be Loved" How the hell did this make it so high? Even "Payphone" without the wizard rapper is better than this.
4. WALK THE MOON - "Shut Up and Dance" Why did I rank this so high? Because it's the perfect 80's back to the future song ever.
3. The Fray - "How to Save a Life" A bit weak and boring too. It's one of those piano ballads I never cared for
2. Maroon 5 - "This Love" Now this is a great Maroon 5 song. Certified "bop" They should fire who ever is writing their music these days and go back to this style.
1. Goo Goo Dolls - "Iris" Now this is a 90's guitar ballad. I wonder why Goo Goo Dolls can't write anything like this anymore. GReat winner. No complaints here.

I am quite okay with this winner, another one that eventually got its turn at the top.

What's with all the hosts getting best closeness in their own rankdowns? Don't worry, it's not a thing. Check either of the RDs I've hosted and finished so far, or watch the results for my personal one that'll start soon. I'll be doing terribly/have done terribly in all of them lol.

I like these results better. Pleasantly surprised to see Iris top the rankdown, great song. You and Me still deserved a bit better (like top 20), that being said. Mostly pleased with the results as a whole!
