Remember the guys that made "Hero"? They're releasing a new album titled Goodbye Sunshine, Hello Nighttime on May 18. They're now with Reprise so if they release a single, it'll likely get a bigger push than their last lead single.

5 repeat listens later. Well this kicked "Hero";s ass. Nice to see them go in an upbeat direction. If only that had been Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the music video. It's also nice to have a Download? check so early in the week.

Sounds like they took the Milo Greene route (folk-sy band turned power pop - e.g. "1957" to "On the Fence")

This will give them a much better chance at charting decently on Alternative hopefully at some point. I like this new upbeat poppy style despite liking their slower paced sound in the past as well.
