They got DJ Khaled saying "a wrinkle in time" in his "we the best" voice. I just can't.

This is awful. Why Demi, whyyyy??
Like honestly though. The vocal production is soooo bad, the lyrics are so corny and basic. The video is... yeah...

I believe in DJ Khaled but his catchphrases really don't fit this kind of song, this whole thing feels jarring. Who conceived DJ Khaled on a Disney movie soundtrack anyway

This is really bad, Demi's voice is extremely grating.

Prime example of the Demi I don't enjoy.
This whole Wrinkle in Time project is a mess, tbh. It's all - collectively and broken down into it's individual parts - a bit much and all over the place. Bad reviews aside, I saw the movie last night and it was as messy as critics are claiming. I loved the book as a kid and love everyone attached to this project, so it's a major bummer. Even Sade's song seems fairly pedestrian and misused.
There's a reason it took 50+ years for it to make it to he big screen. The TV movie was TERRIBLE. It just doesn't translate to screen, period. Some books are for the mind theatre only.

This is ok, fine for a soundtrack song
But definitely on the bottom of her entire career The vocals are pretty grating on this one And then I'm just confused as to who accidentally opened the door and let DJ Khaled make his way into this and make it a major mess
Welp, at least we got a Spanish version of TMYLM in the same week, so that can cover up this mess

Can someone tell me what the point to feature DJ Khaled , was all about, other than to ruin an already mediocre song?

Idk, I like it. Remove Khaled and his "A WRINKLE IN TIME" headass.

The production on this is even more generic than I expected, omg. Reminds me of the days when things like " Crush" and " Tattoo" could be minor hits. The lyrics are just as cheesy as you'd expect them to be. It's a decent track for a soundtrack to a middling film, nothing more.
