I simply thought this was the weakest song of a pretty strong group of songs. James has a habit of making me rank songs that I otherwise would never rank last at the very bottom. :kii:

We'll be ending our night here on #36. I got an early morning and a paper to write, lol.
#36 gets us back to similar rankings that we saw with a few tracks in this bottom 5 – songs that just couldn't get any love. No one put this in their Top 10, and just two people put this in their Top 20. Six people ranked this inside of their bottom 10, with two of those being big #40s. This is good for the second lowest standard deviation of the game.
This is one that never left the bottom 5 no matter how hard it tried. It spent five lists at #36, but couldn't breakthrough any higher. It was a fixture in the bottom 3, however, even spending a list at #40.

this type of folk stuff is usually my thing; however, something about the vocals on this didn't sit all that well with me. not bad though

We'll continue...sometime in the future. I don't really have a set time I can reveal again – it won't be tomorrow or Friday.
What do you guys think will round out our bottom 10?
See you soon!

40. The Royal Concept - On Our Way This is no where as great as "Gimmi Twice" or "Fashion", but compared to toady's indie music, this was a masterpiece. I could never sing along to this silliness tho..
39. Hippo Campus - Buttercup Didn't win any awards with me, one of the better songs I've heard from this band....and that's not saying much
38. Beirut - Gibraltar Those vocals never had a chance with me.
37. Brooke Fraser - Kings and Queens Already losing a top 5.....I charted this for a few weeks, so I have a soft heart for it.
36. Butch Walker - Chrissie Hynde This folky vocal wonder was dead to me, before it even began. :kii:

On Our Way was my 1 for entirely sentimental reasons. It isn't the best song here musically, but I used to absolutely love it when I was younger.

cool, i liked Suicide Sunday from these guys, alt nation played that one quite a bit, but this fell a bit flat for me You mean Suicide Saturday? That would've scored highly for me.

I guess we can start again six days later, right? Let's talk about #35. This has the 16th highest standard deviation of the game. I honestly thought it'd be higher. Just one person ranked this in their Top 10, and it's up there – a Top 3. Seven people ranked this in their bottom 10, but three of those were right at #40, and someone else almost put it there. I guess I kinda predicted the lack of love for this, but the hate doesn't totally surprise me. This one actually didn't start out too bad. It even made the Top 20 at a point. It was chilling in the 20s, but by the middle it kept dipping until its eventual fall to #35.

I wasn't sure where I was gonna put this because I don't think I've hated anything I've heard from Fatboy Slim, but I haven't loved anything either. So it seems fitting it ended up somewhere in the middle for me.

#34 has the sixth lowest standard deviation of the rankdown.
This is another song that had a struggle getting some love. Three people did rank this in their Top 20, and they are all in a row to each other. This got six bottom 10 rankings, but one of them is a special one, as we see another #40 out the window here. This is our last song to cross 400 points.
This was one that saw most of its time in the bottom 10, but it did spend some time earlier in the game inside the Top 20. This peaked at #21 and dipped to #35 as its lowest.

Fun fact: this was produced by Butch Walker, who I guess doubles up in the bottom 10.
This song is raunchy as all hell, but man this is fun.
