Apparently according to recordyear, this is Lynch's next single and goes for adds on May 21st. It's not on the tracklisting for Current Mood, so I wonder if they're just moving on quick to the next album since "I'd Be Jealous Too" bombed, or if this'll just be tacked onto a re-release of that record later this year. Title: "Good Girl" - Dustin Lynch Writers: Dustin Lynch, Justin Ebach, Andy Albert Release date: May 21Audio: Lyric video:

They really dropped the ball by not releasing Love Me Or Leave Me Alone. Like, HUGE mistake. There was already so much buzz and it could’ve ended up being his biggest hit.
Good Girl is good though. It screams summer anthem!

Not going to lie I’ve been jamming to this today because it’s so catchy. This is much better than “I’d Be Jealous Too” but that’s not really saying much. Pretty generic fodder here, but I can see radio eating this up due to the catchiness. I really wish Dustin would go back to the sound of his Where It’s At album. It was undeniably country but with a modern touch.

I agree with the above comment. This is much better than “I’d Be Jealous Too”.

Audio: Lyric video: The label really loved the Current Mood project and knows there are hits (including "Love Me...") on it. But I can also see them figuring it had "three singles already" "("Seein' Red" and "Small Town Boy" being the first two singles before the record came out) and doing a similar move with this one. All that being said, I wholly expect them to release a deluxe edition of that album. That would allow them to release "Love Me or Leave Me Alone" AFTER this one, if it were to have a faster rise/fall on the charts. I mean, it seems deluxe editions are becoming en vogue again and it wouldn't surprise me if there were a ticket package associated with a deluxe on DL's own tour to help goose the album sales.

This is clearly a huge hit waiting to happen but I've gotta admit that I'm burned on it already and I haven't even finished the first listen. It just drags on and on.

This is getting hourly airplay. Impressive that they were able to secure it, because Dustin really isn’t an artist of that stature.

This is getting hourly airplay. Impressive that they were able to secure it, because Dustin really isn’t an artist of that stature. It received some hourly play on Friday, which is common for an artist of Dustin's stature. It wasn't a full-blown, all-day hourly airplay. Just enough to get him a debut in the 70's on Mediabase and it will keep rising on the rolling chart, until Saturday, when it suffers its hangover effect. It was a brand-new, unheard song, so those are what get hourly deals -- either lead singles or second singles on an album that has yet to be released. The label likely saw an opportunity to get Dustin back out there with some buzz and a new, unheard song is more appealing than a fourth single from Current Mood, after the last single bombed at radio. This song is better than his past few singles, but it's still not that good. The topic, melody and production feels like a rehash of many songs released these days.

this song is terrible! thought they were releasing the AWESOME "New Girl", which would have been a smash. But this is just bad, I'd be Jealous Too was a great song compared to this. So messy and vapid...

Would have assumed he’d have gone back to the traditional sound from his debut (after “I’d Be Jealous Too”) but I guess not. This is a hard pass for me, he’s fast becoming part of the country dudes I don’t care for

Not a fan of this at all. Dustin has a good voice, but he's one of those country artists whose material I really don't like.

It's not bad, I mean it's pretty easy going. Doesn't sound much different that the style of his previous 3 singles though, so I don't really see what else its brings to the table besides being radio friendly. This dude is just capable of so much better, not every song needs to be a fun little ditty.

Due to pre-arranged airplay, this debuts at #37 on Billboard, almost matching "I'd Be Jealous Too"'s peak in week 1.

I am disappointed the way Dustin wastes his talent in songs like that.He has such a great voice and his first albums were so good that I cant understand it...this one can be a bit better than "I´d be Jealous Too" but I listened once and no more.

I've been debating with myself if this will be on a re-release of 'Current Mood' or the start of a new project. I'm starting to think this is going to be off a brand new album. Dustin has never gone more than three singles deep on an album before, plus I think to get the most hype that you'd announce the new deluxe version of the album as the same time as the new song. Plus, if it was going to be a re-release of 'Current Mood', wouldn't they want that cover art on the single?

This dropped 20 spots down to #57 on the latest Billboard Airplay update which was an expected drop, I'd say. As of this post, "Good Girl" is sitting at #49 on the iTunes Country chart.

This is less bad than his last few singles, but that's not saying much. Even with the rampant autotune it's at least somewhat more country, and has a somewhat cute lyric.

This just feels like Dustin or the Label are confused which way to take his next album. Anyone else feel that way?

A month after the impact date, Dustin Lynch's 'Good Girl' has been added at 73 total stations with four adds this week. This seems low to me for a month in for someone like Dustin Lynch, especially since this is brand new music and not a album track.

This song is such an ear worm and sounds like something radio would be all over especially since it’s the summer. I wonder if programmers aren’t fond of him/his music.

Maybe 'I'd Be Jelalous Too' will be Dustin Lynch's own personal 'Donkey'. Both singles coming off big number one smashes resulting in a total derailment of their career projectories. That's probably a little heavy-handed to proclaim right now, but the thought has crossed my mind.

I also think his Single of the Year video stunt (then presenting the award LOL) rubbed EVERYONE the wrong way. You can say that stuff in private but it's not something you post on the Gram.

come on guys, this song is struggling because it's actually terrible. Sounds like a cartoon theme song, not even catchy. I was surprised to see I'd be jealous too stalling as that one was very catchy, but it had been struggling for days way before the whole Single of the Year thing. If they had released "New Girl" that would've been a massive smash.
