Lol, I love “Focus”, “Body On Me” and especially “Hey Baby (After The Club)”—in fact, HB(ATC) probably would have made my top ten if not top five! That said, I wanted a list of songs that showcased her reputation as a star in her own right and go-to hook girl of the early to mid 00s. |

Released:2006 Appears on: Original Version | "Can't Stop" Remix | iTunes limited release I listened to this remix probably every day, 50 times a day, during my freshman year of college. The original version, which is a much slower ballad, was recorded in 1997 and later released on 2004's "Can't Stop" which features songs Ashanti wrote and sang prior to making it big. The remix was an unauthorized release to iTunes in 2006 and was quickly yanked off for purchase, presumably by Ashanti and Murder Inc. I was one of the lucky ones to make the purchase and now you all are one of the lucky ones to finally hear it since, after over a decade, some brave soul put in on YouTube! |

I never heard that remix but love the vibe and her tone. You can tell Airy Grande resembles her so much vocally. It's almost giving me Mya featuring Jay-Z best of me teas.
