"Whiskey Glasses" enters the Mediabase Top 40 at #38, gaining 116 spins and 5 spots from last week, which means CT 40 spins this time next Sunday I think (I don't know if it is Next weekend or the following one when they do the year end Countdown).
Still amazing sales (just inside the iTunes all genre Top 100) so hopefully radio realizes how well this is connecting and this takes off as like I said in the "Rumor" thread it is so annoying when country radio ignores or gives slow climbs to songs that are actually selling.

The Highway has been playing this a LOT recently and I have to say this might be one of my favorite songs currently at radio. I pretty much despised Up Down, but I liked The Way I Talk well enough. I really enjoy the clever lyrics in this one and it is always in my head now. Here for this being a hit.

"Whiskey Glasses" enters the Top 30 on Mediabase, moving up 3 spots, to #30 (2 songs went recurrent and this song passed "Feels Like A Party" by LoCash").
Sales remain great as Morgan Wallen is at #74 all genre on iTunes, as this song is outselling the latest singles from Luke Bryan, Old Dominion, Brett Young, Carrie Underwood, Jon Pardi, Jordan Davis, and Midland, despite not even having half of the airplay levels the other songs have.
Definitely hope and think this song could shape up to be one of the biggest hit songs of 2019.

I'll never understand why radio slowplays obvious hit songs like this one. It doesn't strike me a song that would be quite polarizing either, so wish they'd hurry up and zip this one up the charts. The album is quite strong, and I really want to see a 3rd single.

I'd imagine "Little Rain" and "Happy Hour" would be at the forefront of the decision.

With "Chasin' You" having a music video and already having over 350,000 views in 10 days, I feel like "Chasin' You" would be the third single.

Not to nitpick, but "Whiskey Glasses" *is* the third single from this album. "Up Down" hit big and got the album out there, but his debut single was a Top 30 of its own and included on the record, so the next single from the record would be its fourth single, not third.
In regards to what they should release next, I think "Happy Hour," "Had Me by Halftime," or "Little Rain" would be in the selection pool. All of those sound like solid hits to me.

Fair enough, I just forgot about his debut single since it only made the Top 30 lol.

The more I listen to Morgan's music, the more I realize I LOVE his voice. There's just something about it, especially on "The Way I Talk" when he hits the high notes.

Officially Morgan Wallen's second Top 20 with country radio as "Whiskey Glasses" moves up 2 spots to #20 on Mediabase.
I think this has a pretty strong chance at #1. Morgan Wallen seems to have developed a pretty sizable fanbase so far. I was wondering if "Up Down" was a fluke but it does seem like this song will also be a big hit being #42 all genre as of tonight.
This song has grown on me. I think Morgan Wallen has a way of writting a catchy song. I don't think he's particularly great as a singer, but his songs are pretty catchy.

New song "Cover Me Up" available now--and it's really good. A toned down ballad with some steel and violin in the mix. This could be a big hit but I'm surprised they released it while "Whiskey Glasses" is still on its way to what seems likely to be #1.

It will likely not be a single, but it is great to have regardless and I am so happy it is out. Who knows maybe Big Loud does release it since I don't think it's a well known song.

“The Way I Talk” is the song listed on Apple Music’s “Breaking Country” playlist. I’d love to see a re-release. That song has always been a well written tune imo

This is selling pretty well and increasing in airplay. I believe it will reach the top 35 of the hot 100 eventually

I will say this is catchy
But I hate his phrasing. “Making out w/someone new” sounds like “making out with someone, nooo”

I love almost every song on his album, but would love Little Rain, Happy Hour, Chasin' You or a rerelease of The Way I Talk to be next.

Would really like to see “happy hour”, “the way I talk”, or “whatcha know about that”. All would be really good summer releases I would think.

"The Way I Talk" is awesome so I'd love a re-release of that, but I don't think they'll go that route since it did reach the top 30. If it had totally bombed and peaked in the 40s or 50s and didn't spend a long time on the charts, it'd probably be a different story. Songs like "Happy Hour," "Little Rain," and "Had Me by Halftime" all sound like good single options to me. There's others on the record they could go with too, but those are the three that I would prefer they pick from.

Does Whatcha Know Bout That sample Fishing in the Dark? I always hear it, especially when he says "you and me".
Also I forgot Not Good At Not, that song is pretty underrated imo.

"Whiskey Glasses" nudges up a spot to #5 on Mediabase becoming Morgan Wallen's second Top 5 single. These past 2 weeks have been absolute fire for this song as Morgan Wallen has gained 1686 spins and 8319k in audience.
With Jon Pardi maxing this next week, Kelsea Ballerini not gaining a lot the last couple of weeks and starting to run out of gas and both Thomas Rhett and Brett Eldredge being a ways away (7-9 million in Mediabase) this song is shaping up to be a multi week #1 hopefully on both charts and if so it would be very deserved as this song is selling very well (#11 all genre and only being outsold by "God's Country").

I don't think anybody would've predicted that after Florida Georgia Line carried "Up Down" into a chart success for him that the follow-up would be even bigger, but here we are. This has been absolutely massive. As a big fan of this song, I'm happy to see it blow up into such a smash, even though it took way too long to really get going at radio. I love hearing this one on the radio. So catchy.
