31 adds on impact just 1 behind Kelsea Ballerini and "Miss Me More". I was really pulling for more but 31 adds out of the gate at least means this song isn't dead on arrival. Hoping next week they can score double digit adds for the followup week. Country Queens

Lauren's stepfather passed away last night after battling with cancer for awhile. This is the reason she cancelled a few shows and wasn't at the CMT Artists of the Year ceremony last week. This is such devastating news and my heart aches for her and her family 😔

This is my favourite of her songs so far. I hope it can catch on and become a hit.

Sorry for the double post. "Ladies In The 90s" was the 6th most adddd song this week with an additional 13 adds. 44 total stations.
The start for this song is pretty encouraging with the adds recieved today. I'm glad the followup week in adds was solid in 13 adds as I feared it would get maybe 4 to 7 at most.

The more I listen to this, the more I love it! It feels so anthemic and Lauren’s voice is as perfect as ever. (Edit: I just realized I made a very similar post in this thread before, so I apologize)

Is country radio going to start spinning this or... They are. I mean out of all the female songs radio could be ignoring I feel like this song is one of the ones they are more open too. Especially more compared to the latest singles from Lindsay Ell, Clare Dunn, Raelynn, Pistol Annies, and Abby Anderson. Those seem to be the female songs country radio is shunning outright. Here's a link to the leaders right now on Mediabase www.allaccess.com/mediabase/q/report/leaders/song/ALAILIT9/format/C1"Ladies In The 90s" as of today has 238 spins and approximately 930k in audience based on those spins and has gained 28 spins from those stations. For a song that only went for adds 3 weeks ago I think, that is not bad at all. The charts are just super jam-packed right now when it takes over a million in audience just to debut on Billboard. But, it does appear country radio is interested in this song and certainly more interested than they were in "Doin Fine" out of the gate. I haven't crunched the numbers but maybe Lauren Alaina can debut on Billboard. Overall the start for this song isn't bad at all and country radio is definitely playing this song.

G8er's point was that this hasn't charted yet. It's still early and it's doin' fine right now, but those of us who love Lauren would like to see it (and her) smash and are very impatient about it

G8er's point was that this hasn't charted yet. It's still early and it's doin' fine right now, but those of us who love Lauren would like to see it (and her) smash and are very impatient about it I mean are we expecting this song to chart already when the charts are this tightly packed and it takes so much to chart. Charting on Billboard isn't easy when it takes over a million audience impressions to chart and literally almost every artist seems to have a single out on country radio right now. I'm the biggest Lauren Alaina fan on this board (you and I both know that is true), but I'm not gonna be impatient about this song as I know this song was always going to have a slow chart climb. This song seems fine out of the gate so I don't get the impatience or worrying about this song already. Also I figured there was nothing wrong with my initial reply to g8 and explained things pretty well.

Also I figured there was nothing wrong with my initial reply to g8 and explained things pretty well. You're missing the point. Yes, I (and I assume g8erboi) know that the charts are clogged right now and you need more AI than normal to squeeze onto the chart. The point still stands that fans of Lauren are eagerly waiting for this song to chart so we can start watching its progress. We can track adds and AI still without it charting but for us chart watchers it's officially making the chart that truly begins its run on radio. Also, I'm not sure you hold a candle to other fans of Lauren on this board. Just because she's the only female artist you like doesn't automatically make you her biggest supporter. Lauren has a ton of fans here. No one here is worried because we too know this is going to be a long climb if its going to become a hit, but impatience is very valid. We can be impatient waiting for her to officially chart while knowing very well it likely won't happen quite yet. I'm impatiently waiting for Christmas to be here, but I know that it's still 7 weeks away and won't come any faster. I never said there was anything wrong with your initial reply. You analytically displayed the song's performance so far, which was fine, but I don't think that's what g8erboi was really asking for. I'm fairly certain g8erboi already knew that radio was already playing this song, just that he wishes they were playing it more or that it was doing better at this point than it is.

I mean you can watch it's progress daily if you're on AllAccess. I get its not officially charting. I like other female artists beyond Lauren Alaina thank you very much such as Carly Pearce, Ashley Monroe, Runaway June, Rachel Wammack, Maddie & Tae, and Danielle Bradbery all come to mind. I also think my post count (before my boardicide) for both "Road Less Traveled" and "Doin Fine" thread kind of help my case as the biggest Lauren Alaina fan especially since I was pretty positive and definitely passionate in those threads. I just think impatience isn't the best thing. That and no offense to g8erboi who I love btw I feel like their expectations three weeks in was a bit too high. No offense to that poster. The song is doing fine.. Patience is a virtue for a reason.

I'm done arguing with you over this because this obviously isn't going anywhere, but I will say that just because you posted the most in an artist thread doesn't mean you're someone's biggest fan. Also quality over quantity in terms of posting, just saying.

"Ladies in the 90s" moves up 3 spots to #60 on Mediabase. Since the song is Top 60 on Mediabase I imagine Lauren Alaina has a good chance of debuting on Billboard tomorrow like I said in my predictions post earlier today.

2 more adds bringing the song to a total of 49 stations. KJKE in Oklahoma City played this 44 times last week, the most of any song on that station, but other than that the stations that have added this are playing it pretty modestly. This is going to have to start gaining more adds soon.

Up one spot on BB to #57, down one spot on MB to #61. If she can pull off a win this week at the CMAs, I expect to see this pick up steam similar to "Miss Me More". But, if/when she loses to Luke, I expect these small up a spot/down a spot moves to continue for a little.

It's important to note that 4 songs went recurrent on Billboard ("Drunk Girl", "Hotel Key", "Babe", and I think "Damage" is the fourth). so only gaining 1 spot is pretty bad since 4 songs went recurrent. Hopefully her performing on the CMA Awards helps give this song a boost and this song is at least selling something (in the 500s on iTunes last I checked).

"Ladies In The 90s" moved up to #53 on Mediabase, with Lauren Alaina having 435 total spins, so a little over 100 spins should get "Ladies In The 90s" into the Top 50. I would expect a new peak on Billboard as well.
Initially this song didn't do a lot for me, but this song has grown on me so much. Lauren Alaina sounds fantastic, and I am glad radio is at least slowly letting this song gain. Here's to hoping this can be a hit in 2019.

Jumps seven spots on Billboard #54-#47. Let's keep this moving.

Despite their being no recurrent songs on Mediabase "Ladies In The 90s" sets a new peak on Mediabase this week at #52, Lauren Alaina is at 488 spins which is a nice 53 spins gained from last week, also judging by the Mediabase adds this week Lauren Alaina should have at least 4 more adds as well.
With 3 songs going recurrent this Sunday on Mediabase (Luke Combs, Jimmie Allen, and Maren Morris) and one song that could freefall out of the Top 50 (Travis Denning) I think Lauren Alaina is a practical lock to make an official Top 50 Mediabase debut this upcoming week.
Turns out I was wrong, this song got 9 adds.

Has anyone seen all the hate comments she gets on her YouTube vidoes? Every single one of them is filled with trash comments about her needing to lose weight, being a bully, etc.
What has she ever done to anyone? Random.

I do think it's a bunch of trolls, Scotty McCreery fans that are living in 2011, and just generally vile people. (I am only putting the spoiler tag up because a lot of what says is just disgusting on so many levels, and is essentially viewer discretion is advised) Various comments include
"This retard is insecure" "Why couldn't they just kill her" "What a shitty song by a shitty girl" What a shitty song by a bully! Hayley should have won!" "I thought this ugly demon was dead" Lauren Alaina and it is sad they are people who repeatedly troll her YouTube videos. I do hope and think that it is just one or 2 people with many accounts just to troll.

While many McCreery fans don't seem to like Lauren, his fans don't seem to be the bulk of the extreme trolling & negative comments on her YouTube videos. The extreme trolling & negative comments mostly seem to come from Idol fans of the 3rd place finisher, Haley Reinhart. I've seen plenty of posts over the years on Lauren's YT videos including her current single saying Haley should have been in the finale, should have won, the better singer, etc. All these trolls & fans of others need to move on (and this is coming from a fan of all 3 of them).
