Huh I thought for sure "I Could Not Ask For More" would've made top 5. I thought my prediction of it going at 5 was going to be too low.
Also "Perfect" was supposed to be my #11. I have no idea how it switched places with my #4. :(

All 3 of these are jams! Sara’s catalog is remarkably strong.

The next casualty inside the top 10 comes with Sara Evans' first major chart success: her first #1 smash, "No Place That Far." With its elimination, we say goodbye to its parent album of which it shares its name and also to her last representative of the 90s decade. This scintillating piano ballad with beautiful harmony vocals from Vince Gill about the endurance of love even in death, put Sara Evans on country radio's radar for the first time after four failed attempts to launch her career, though it is sadly rather forgotten despite being one of her only five #1 hits to date, and is almost never performed live by Sara. Pulse holds it in a much more favorable light here as it makes it all the way to #7. Originally a top 5 contender early on in the submissions process, it dropped a little thanks to the three bottom 10 ranks that it ultimately accumulated. Despite those, it mostly received top 20 ranks, and many of them were top 10s. castleoblivion26 loses a #2 here, but no one slotted this one at #1, making it the final song in the rankdown to have that distinction as the six songs remaining were all placed at #1 by at least one person. "It wouldn't matter, why we're apart The lonely miles, two stubborn hearts And nothing short, of God above Could turn me away, from your love I need you that much"

I like "Perfect" just not to the extent of a lot of her other singles. I've also gotten a little tired of it over the years tbh
Sara's cover of "I Could Not Ask For More" is absolutely STUNNING! I adore it.

"No Place That Far" is great, albeit a little underwhelming. It's one of those songs that I always like better than I think I do when I listen to it.

Any predictions on the final song to miss out on the top 5?
We still have left:

Fingers crossed for it to be "Saints & Angels"! The only other one I could really see it being is "Greyhound"

Y'all guessed it. The final song in the Sara Evans rankdown to come up short of the top 5 is "Saints & Angels," the third single from Born to Fly, which was the only single to not become a major hit on the country charts from the album (though it still made the top 20, however). It is much more popular among her fans than its chart performance might suggest (and is Sara's own favorite song from the album) and it outlasted a great deal of much bigger hits to come in at #6. A moody mid-tempo backed by piano, the song touches on the human quality of imperfection from the perspective of a couple whose perseverance and love for one another overcomes any misfortunes they go through. This time it's bigfan101 who loses his #1 rank, and it's a close call with several runner-up placement casualties as well. Weighed down by a lone bottom 10 and a handful other lower ranks, this one crash lands about 20 points shy of a top 5 finish. "These feet of clay They will not stray"

I have my 1, 6, 8, 20, 37 left
Knew 37 would be in the Top 5, I could see it winning. I did not realize my 20 was this loved. That is the one I mentioned before that I don't like as much as I thought I did.
My 21 was "I Could Not Ask For More" and for some reason I never cared for her version when it was a single. I mean I really hated it and it was my dislike for that song that kept me from ever really becoming a fan of hers. When listening to it for this I enjoyed it a lot more than I used to, and will say I don't hate it anymore.
though "No Place That Far" should have been top 5, very disappointed to see that one miss the Top 5, same with "Saints & Angels". Those two were easily in my Top 3 and should have been overall in the Top 5!

Also I love all of them so I'm fine with anything winning lol
Hopefully if my #4 had a shot I didn't ruin it by ranking it 7 spots lower :(

Welp I lost my #2 and #3 back-to-back with “No Place That Far” and “Saints & Angels” following it just before the top 5.
I’ve always loved Sara’s vocal performance on “No Place That Far” and how well Vince’s voice blends in with her’s on the song. It also always takes me back to the late 90s right before country music transitioned into the new century. Speaking of the late 90s...watching that clip of Sara on the Donny & Marie show just made me realize how bland everyone dressed during that time lol.
“Saints & Angels” will always be one of my favorite songs by Sara and it initially started out as my #1 for the rankdown. I remember this being released just about a week before 9/11 and there isn’t a time when I hear this song that I don’t think of that day.
Here’s what I currently have remaining: 1, 4, 5, 7, 9
Predictions:
5. Backseat of a Greyhound Bus 4. Suds in the Bucket 3. A Real Fine Place to Start 2. A Little Bit Stronger 1. Born to Fly
