Was wondering when they were going to release a second single with “Burning Man” climbing the charts, but this song really was a standout from the moment I heard it. I’m expecting a slow climb for this one but this’ll make for a great winter tune.
On another note I’m seeing them with Dierks this Thursday in Austin!

Thrilled at this! It's been in my head all day. The only downside is that The Highway has been playing the crap out of it for some time now (I'll probably be equally perturbed about that fact if/when "Beautiful Crazy" becomes a radio single).
I'm all here for these guys to continue their path to stardom.

This is a really good song, maybe my favorite of theirs after "It Ain't My Fault." I see this being a much bigger radio success than their last one.

This was the obvious choice. Love this song and I am here for it becoming a number one.

I'm not loving their new album nearly as much as the first one, but this is by far the best song on there and I hope it becomes a huge hit at radio.

There are more standouts in the first album, and while the new one is a good album, I struggle to find stronger songs in the 'new' one.

Will impact on October 8th, from AllAccess. Looks like Chris Lane's "I Don't Know About You" is the only other song going for adds on that day so far, so it should be a nice impact day for Brothers Osborne.

31 adds this week, 33 historical total on Impact Day. Comes in third most added behind Tim McGraw and Rascal Flatts.

I wonder if they are letting "Burning Man" do it's thing on the chart before they truly push this at radio. It has been hanging around the New and Active section on Billboard for a few weeks, but it has been a month since Impact Day without this hitting the Airplay chart yet. I'd sure think that Brothers Osborne would typically be on the chart by now with a single (especially with a song that should be a hit like this one).

Got a feeling these guys are politicizing themselves right off the radio.

Got a feeling these guys are politicizing themselves right off the radio. I don’t think they’re ever going to be big with radio, save for the occasional hit. They have an audience, and aren’t really cut out to pander to mainstream. They just aren’t for the younger crowd, for the most part. I love them, but I’m a rare case of a 23 year old who isn’t brainwashed by bore country I feel when it’s all said and done they’ll be remembered more of a Turnpike Troubadours act anyway. Which isn’t a bad thing at all.

"I Don't Remember Me (Before You" enters the Mediabase Top 50 this week at #49, gaining 33 spins.
I hope that once "Burning Man" peaks, this song can start getting some life into it, because the start for this song has been underwhelming.

Why is this completely floundering on the chart? It's such a cool lyric, such a memorable sound. Any theories?

Why is this completely floundering on the chart? It's such a cool lyric, such a memorable sound. Any theories? It's slow and starts off quiet, so it's already a bit "off" for radio. There's also the possibility that Burning Man nearing the pinnacle of the charts is holding it back a bit. Also, it's the BrOs and radio is always a tad cautious when it comes to their music, regardless of their acclaim. I don't agree with any of this, per se - I adore this song and feel like it should be doing much better than it is. But they only just started to promote it, too, it feels, with the performance on Fallon. Hopefully it will breathe some life into it.

Why is this completely floundering on the chart? It's such a cool lyric, such a memorable sound. Any theories? Because it’s too good for most of today’s youth. You have to listen to the whole song to truly enjoy it (as is the case with most good songs). Lots of today’s kids (I’m 24. I know how my age group is) listen to the first 30 seconds of a song and judge it. That’s why “Good Girl” went number one. It’s catchy and instant. You don’t need many brain cells to be a fan of it. Kids don’t care about lyrics anymore. Sad truth.

I remember when this song was launching, there was some convo about them and FGL both posting about gun control reform... and both songs are moving slowly. But Dierks did the same thing, and he's A-okay.
I feel like the chorus is just SO strong on this. I love the ambiguity that he isn't necessarily better or worse because of this relationship, but that's he's just a changed man somehow, too.
I hope that with a little promo, the Grammy nom, the 'Burning Man' exposure -- that this becomes something.
