1. Which song will finish at #1? Going to agree that the title track will likely finish as the winner
2. Which song will finish at #13? No song deserves to come in last place here because the album really is that good, but I’ll guess “Dixie” or “Winning Streak”
3. Most polarizing (highest SD)? “Winning Streak”
4. Least polarizing (lowest SD)? “The Blade”
5. Any other thoughts or predictions? So excited for this! I really have no idea what to expect and I just wish we could put all of the songs in the top 5 lol

2. Which song will finish at #13? Has Anybody Ever Told You

4. Least polarizing (lowest SD)? Title track
5. Any other thoughts or predictions? But I don't really want the title track to win. So predictable...

2. Which song will finish at #13? Has Anybody Ever Told You You were supposed to listen to the whole album before submitting your rankings (The only way this song could ever be considered the worst song in any given playlist is if it was the only song you listened to...)

It's quite lackluster for the standard of this album...Or the fact that it followed If Love Was Fair in this album makes it weaker

I'm with recordyear. It's not my #13, but it can be one of the first to go

"Mayflowers" is BEAUTIFUL what are you all DOING!
The whole album is absolutely stellar, however.

I’m Good at Leavin’: I hella relate to these lyrics and I absolutely love the instrumental on this. She sounds really great on it, too. Winning Streak: Very fun song. Kind of feels out of place on the album, but I appreciate the break in seriousness that this brings to the album. Mayflowers: This track is absolutely stellar and is pure old fashioned country imo. The melody is undeniably gorgeous. Dixie: Least favorite of the four, but still a solid song imo. I love the story it tells, but the melody and production never really captivated me.

Very disappointed to see "Dixie" get the boot this early, but the other three losses were songs I expected to see low.

I did not dislike a single song but from about my #8 down those songs were definitely the bottom of the album for me and all 4 of these songs were there. All great though, interested to see how the rest plays out.

Pleased with the results so far. Surprised “Winning Streak” wasn’t first.

I don't think I have ever started out a rankdown with 3 perfect rankings in a row before! Naturally, I am pretty thrilled with how this one is turning out "I'm Good At Leavin'" is really good, but the chorus melody doesn't hold up well. It is catchy at first, but after repeat listens it starts to feel a little chunky and repetitive. I didn't think it would end up anywhere near the bottom of my list at first, but after a few listens through it was the clear bottom for me. "Winning Streak" is great, but I am also not surprised to see it leave next. It is a pretty odd song in the context of the album, which works against it in this case imo. The melody was also not as catchy as I expected based on the awesome uptempo twangy instrumentation. The clever word-play involved with the hook here is super fun, and definitely earns the songs some brownie points from me! "Mayflowers" is beautiful. I definitely enjoyed this one a lot, and it was hard for me to rank it so low. The melody is beautiful, and the song is super cohesive. Ultimately I think it falls towards the back of the album because of a lack of originality. The "April showers bring mayflowers" pun is stupid to begin with, and in country music it has been beaten to death through the decades. I still love the song, but the creativity of most of the other songs helped boost them ahead for me. "Dixie" is super catchy, but I kinda expected it to leave around now. The 4-10 range of my list is actually pretty interchangeable, so this one could have easily been a perfect ranking for me as well. Ultimately I had to put it closer to the middle of the album in the end because it is one of the chorus melodies that stayed with me the most from the album.

Also g8erboi, I have to praise your artwork!!!!! The presentation of this rankdown has been amazing and beautiful so far I feel like you tore a page from my playbook for the individual song reveals, but you have taken it even further than I ever do by integrating the theme into all your reminder posts and stuff. It's so flawless

I actually took inspiration from your Martina album rankdown series for this; I absolutely love the idea of making "single covers" for every album track. Just following the ways of the best!

Yassss, I can accept that logic! Album artwork is usually such an underrated and under-appreciated aspect of an album, but can have such a huge influence on the overall "vibe" of the album. So I feel like it is just so fun to try to feature as much of the artwork as I can. I'm so sad George Strait doesn't have enough pictures for me to make single covers for his album series :( I'm probably going to use your single covers for this album on my iTunes, btw :)

I'm Good at Leavin' is one of the more traditional country leaning part of the album, but not the best of it. It is a perfect song as a closer though. Expected that Winning Streak would be eliminated sooner or later. This is one of the cuts that I have revisited the most so there goes my #2 ranking. It coming after title track is the best placement in the album in terms of pacing. I find Mayflowers repetitive. Love the fiddle and the slight bluegrass flavor in Dixie.

"Weight of the Load" is my favorite track off the album and I’m devastated to see it already go. The lyrics really hit me hard the first time I heard it, and the instrumentation is so organic and stellar. The opening instrumental is absolutely haunting. It’s the song I relate to the most from the album, and even though I almost ranked "The Blade" ahead of it at one point, I stuck with my gut and gave this the top position.

I expected “Bombshell” to do well but I wanted a stronger hook or a climax. Good song though.
