I used to do this, starting the thread once there were things to discuss that didn't fit into last tracking week, and I noticed that there is indeed a lot that's impacting the charts as of next week:
The Race for Number One
While Girls Like You looks to have 10/27/18's chart on lock, unless Zeze is a big enough debut, a third song enters the fray for this week: Sicko Mode. The addition of a music video on Friday means it'll have a full week to benefit, and it's already gotten massive streams in the first 2 days. Spotify has also gotten a bump, perhaps between 5 and 15 percent for the tracking week, sales are getting a massive jump, possibly a full-on double, and radio's continuing its gradual climb. Of course, like Lucid Dreams and Mona Lisa before it, it'll have to fend off Girls Like You's massive radio buffer along with strong(ish) sales and YouTube.
A Comeback for Lil' Wayne?
While it looked like the TCV bomb was fading away about as expected, with massive losses across the board except Mona Lisa and the slightly memetic Uproar, the latter could end up with a major rebound. With almost as much buzz as Sicko, Uproar has received a music video that is racking up significant streams. However, unlike Sicko, the song is still plummeting on Spotify and only looks to be getting about half of Sicko's sales once more, though with about the same percent gain. Radio is there for it, but not quite as much as Sicko. My guess for this week is that it'll at the very least stay top 40, maybe eke back into the top 20 if the video does especially well.
At the Movies
Following up on two weeks' prior album bomb for A Star is Born, it looks like the hits from it will stay strong. Of particular note are Shallow, which is still tracking very well on sales and is doing okay on Spotify, and I'll Never Love Again, which has received a music video on Apple Music that may enter YouTube within the tracking week. Also to watch out for is Sunflower, the lead single for the upcoming Into the Spiderverse movie. The only things keeping it at bay on Spotify and iTunes respectively are a double-front of Zeze and Fine China and Shallow respectively.
The Bombing Run Remains Incessant
Three weeks ago it was Lil' Wayne, two weeks ago it was a combination of Twenty One Pilots, Lil Baby & Gunna's collab, and A Star is Born, and last week it was Quavo. Now, once more, it looks like we have another album bomb to consider, that being for Future and Juice WRLD's new collab project. As previously mentioned, Fine China starts strong on Spotify and 7 other songs join it in the daily top 40. Also to watch out for is Khalid, who should provide one of Hot R&B's first album bombs as multiple songs from his project also start in the top 40, led by Vertigo at #10 as top newcomer and Better at #8.
The Other Stuff
Worth keeping an eye on in the newcomer department: When the Party's Over / Billie Eilish, Coupe / Kris Wu feat. Rich the Kid, and Kiss and Make Up / Dua Lipa & BLACKPINK. In the realm of boosts and returns, look out for Noticed / Lil' Mosey (one of the few weatherers of all the bombs this week), pete davidson / Ariana Grande (notable YouTube boosts following the breakup), I Am Who They Say I Am / YoungBoy Never Broke Again (received an MV that's trending), Pretty Little Fears / 6LACK (see prior), and Without Me / Halsey (generally holding up, might make a top 10 bid).

I'd love to see Sicko Mode hit #1. Definitely one of my favorite song from 2018.

YouTube US for the 19th 1 +14 Travis Scott - SICKO MODE (feat. Swae Lee & Drake) 3,580,151 Sicko Mode's opening day had ~70% from US. fhas is 20 million yt streams enough for #1? Also Boo'd Up is back at #1 on Urban AC. Gaining in spins and airplay, with a +bullet higher than any other song in the format yesterday

Gaining in spins and airplay, with a +bullet higher than any other song in the format yesterday 3,580,151 streams is combining the video (~2.7M) with the official audio (~880k) so that's ~50-55% from US. The YT streams alone probably won't be enough, but it's receiving a boost on iTunes, on-demand streaming (up from #6 to #2 on Spotify - gaining 12% this week so far) and radio (+1.7M yesterday) so yeah it's looking like SM is the early favorite for next week's #1.

If ZEZE is #1 this week and Sicko Mode goes to #1 the week after, Travis Scott would be the 14th artist to replace himself at the #1 spot.

So it’s safe to say 2018 was the year of Drake, Post Malone, Cardi B AND Travis Scott.

Rap isn't my go to genre but I like to be up to date with all of the biggest songs. Usually, I can get into most rap songs and I can see why they're popular. However, I cannot crack Sicko Mode for the life of me. It sounds like one run on verse to me. Can someone tell me what the most popular part of the song is? or at least what part people know the most. I felt similarly to God's Plan but one day it just clicked for me.

It sounds like a disjointed medley to me, lol. A modern day Batdance (except not THAT bad).

The intro sounds really amazing, the first beat is honestly incredible. Travis does his thing on the second beat, then on the third beat, it's the Drake show. It's even produced by Tay Keith lol

Do they play the full version of Sicko Mode on the radio? Or is like the first Drake part cut? I remember a time when songs have to be 3:30 and now radio is playing longer songs. how interesting lol Unless there is a radio edit? I don't listen to the radio often

I don't listen to the radio often The radio edit skips the Drake intro altogether. It plays Travis' first verse and second verse as is, but the end of the end of Travis' second verse, the bridge with Swae Lee and Big Hawk sample, and Drake's intro to his verse are all combined. It almost leaves no time without any of them saying anything. If you log into AllAccess and scroll down to Sicko Mode under Rhythmic or Urban's CNM you can listen to the radio edit. It’s weird, I’m from Wisconsin and radio over there cuts a lot of Sicko Mode down. I’m currently visiting Florida and I heard Sicko Mode in full twice on the radio down here.

Just heard the radio edit. Interesting... honestly, this is one of the long running songs that I felt didn't need an edit. But I get it from a Top 40 standpoint.

To think that because of the formula change, "Girls Like You" has blocked Zeze and Mona Lisa already
