Artist: Ashley Monroe Album: Sparrow Acoustic Sessions EP Label: Warner Nashville Release date: February 15 Ashley Monroe kicks off her UK tour tomorrow and she’s just announced that she’s releasing a new EP next month. Sparrow Acoustic Sessions EP will be released on 15th February 2019 and it will feature five acoustic versions of songs from her fourth studio album. “It means a lot to be releasing the acoustic version of Wild Love while I’m in the UK, because the song was inspired by my very first trip to London. The confidence everyone had made me feel so alive. The fans here in the UK really listen and appreciate music so deeply and it brings me such an energy to be back playing shows here.” Monroe has established herself as one of Nashville’s finest singer-songwriters, able to conjure emotion in unexpected ways and to always find the humanity just beneath the surface. Critical acclaim appears to be something that all of Ashley Monroe’s albums have in common. Like a Rose (2013), which included the sublime — and alternatingly bawdy and poignant — singles “Weed Instead of Roses,” “You Got Me” and the title track. Sparrow (2018) turns Monroe’s life experiences into moody, orchestral masterpieces that explore all sides of a fully formed woman unashamed of her scars – the maternal tendencies, the childlike wonder and the sultry moments behind closed doors, as showcased on her single “Hands On You”. Recorded with Grammy winning producer Dave Cobb in the legendary RCA Studio A while Ashley was pregnant with her son Dalton.

Danielle Bradbery just posted an IG story in the studio with David Garcia and Hillary Lindsay I'm still waiting for the studio version of Room For Two. It's a shame it didn't make the final cut

Anyone think she’s angling for a new record deal, kinda like Tucker Beathard pulled? I mean this looks very professional, she got big names to duet and she is still landing some big tours.

I mean this looks very professional, she got big names to duet and she is still landing some big tours. She’s had a lot of success. Why wouldn’t her indie album “look professional?” She’s signed to top management and booking and publishing. So of course she can line up stuff. That being said, she’s likely to find another label partner. Though another radio hit isn’t guaranteed.

Every album by Aaron has gotten a bit better in my opinion. And I love Waylon Paynes original version of The Bottom. Also very curious to hear the Whitley track. Ive got a lot of his unreleased demos but Ive never heard that one.

Per his twitter, Justin Moore's new album will be called "Late Nights And Longnecks". Not going to post the tweet as he was doing a photo shoot and posted pictures of his leg after a horse stepped on him and it;s not pretty.

I’m with zaclord 🌈, the new LoCash album cover makes my head hurt. It sort of reminds me of Ava (the ghost) from Ant-Man and the Wasp lol.

I would love to hear George Strait's version of Old Violin. The duet with Willie Nelson is interesting. Too bad they did not collaborate with each other during the 1980s or 1990s.

Can't wait for George's new album. It was one of the albums I was looking forward to in 2019. Now if we could get info on Reba's new album.
