Guessing: 1. 21 2. 1989 3. Frozen
Did you try to figure out the multipliers for years prior to 2010s?

As for the multipliers, I have limited chart runs for older albums, so I only calculated the multipliers of certain years in pre-soundscan era. You've been interested in Billboard 200's all-time chart since it first came out, here, I updated the chart as of December 2018: pulsemusic.proboards.com/thread/181637/2018-update-billboard-chart-unofficialAnd I remember your thread about longevity records of Billboard 200 for older albums, out of curiosity, do you have comprehensive chart runs for all/most albums in Billboard 200 history?

21's chart run really was outstanding, to put it lightly. Thank you ProjectBro for doing all this.

Sorry for the late reply, but yes I can gather chart runs for most albums but not any charting from about the last 6 months. I used to have a way to save every chart into a text file but that stopped working when they updated the chart layout pages about 6 months ago.

This was cool to see!
Just wondering though, is "Red" by Taylor Swift on this list at all? I looked out for it but it didn't seem to be there haha.

Now I'll post the artists chart, who's ready? Is Drake, Adele or Taylor Swift gonna be #1?
Their points are close.

Who's gonna be #1?
Again, the top 3's points are close. Can Drake snatch the throne of both Hot 100 artist and Billboard 200 artist of the decade? Or does Adele or Taylor Swift still have the edge thanks to the huge dominance of 21 and 1989?

Won't Drake get half the points on wattba since he's a co lead? He's still be at the top either way and I'm kinda shocked it's not Taylor at 2nd

Scorpion has been out for less than 7 months and it'll soon surpass More Life and Take Care in points. If Adele drops her album in Q4, like she did with 25, she won't have enough time to catch up. She doesn't even have the time to catch up as it is seeing as Drake is still scoring 5/6 albums on the Billboard 200 every week and that'll probably continue till he drops another album later this year. Scorpion still has some weeks to spend in the top 10/20 so it'll still be gathering more points than Adele's albums. I think he has this on lock. Even it Billboard uses raw amount of album units for the decade, Drake is still #1. Add in Hot 100 points and he's got this EASILY.

I'm impressed Pentatonix is actually nearing the Top 30. I guess having 10 releases to chart on the Billboard 200 in the decade does that. I hope they can put out another album or two to get a bit higher.

I want to see how Rihanna performs on the Hot 100 this year so she can score back the “Hot 100 Artist of the Decade” title. She was literally number one until Drake took over with the “Scorpion” era. It’s a shame she released virtually nothing between 2017-2018 aside from a handful of singles. Rihanna: Most number one hits this decade: 9 Most weeks in the top 10 this decade: +230 Drake: Most weeks at number one this decade: 49 Most top 10’s this decade: 31 Most weeks on the Hot 100 this decade: +400

Drake has four songs currently charting and Rihanna currently has none. I think it's safe to say that any singles Drake drops this year should perform fairly well, especially if he starts dropping songs early like he did last year. Rihanna is currently ahead of him on the all-time Hot 100 chart, but even that is by a small margin at this point. Meanwhile, Drake has quite a sizeable lead on her in the decade-end Hot 100 chart. They both deserve it, but I'll say Drake deserves it more because he's been more consistent the entire decade, especially the latter half of the decade. If Drake has another successful album era this year, it's a wrap. He's taking the AOTD award. It's sad that Rihanna won't even be taking the female AOTD award - that's between Adele and Taylor. Drake deserves it if you ask me. He's been the most consistent between all THE AOTD nominees.

thegreatdivine I’m not speaking on the AOTD award. I’m solely speaking on the Hot 100 AOTD award and I wouldnt that Rihanna has to do “really well” at all. If Drake completes the decade with the most weeks at number one then he will score the title. If Rihanna completes the decade with the most weeks at number one then she will score the title. Rihanna also has the MOST number ones this decade and her next #1 will give her 10 this decade alone. (Only the Beatles and Mariah Carey have scored 10+ number ones in a single decade). Drake currently 49 weeks at number one / Rihanna currently has 41 weeks at number one = that’s an 8 week difference. Last decade Usher scored the Hot 100 AOTD award as he had the most weeks at number one and the most number ones overall, however Beyoncé had more top tens and entries overall and she finished 2nd. Drake may have had more hits in the streaming era but that’s irrelevant - Rihanna dominated the Hot 100 the first half of the decade whereas Drake didnt. Drakes first number one came in 2016 with Hotline and he soared off from there. ••••••• As for the AOTD title alone, Rihanna will finish at #3 or #4 which is great considering she was #16 for the 2000’s. That shows how consistent her career has been the last 14 years. Rihanna will also be the Airplay artist of the decade.
