Bold indicates the song is still on the chart, italics indicate a song which earned a record this year (with said record accompanying song)
1. "Lucid Dream" by Owl City -- Peak at 1 for 12 weeks -- 47 weeks on the chart -- It probably comes to no shock that song that seemed to come from nowhere and start a long ascension to the top would only culminate in records to spare. For starters, this Owl City hit (his first on the chart since his collab with Carly Rae Jepsen--who we will be seeing shortly--"Good Time" in 2012) topped the chart for 12 weeks, tying the second place record with two Ken Ashcorp hits: "Shut up and Trust This" and "Supernatural" for "Most Weeks at Number One." Another record it picked up was spending 29 weeks in the Top 10. This allowed "Lucid Dreams" to tie with Hoodie Allen and Ed Sheeran's hit from 2015, "All About It", at 8th place. It was also on the chart for 25 weeks before hitting number one, sliding into 13th place for "Longest Climbs to Number One."
2. "Cut to the Feeling" by Carly Rae Jepsen -- Peak at 1 for 11 weeks -- Year End of 2017 - 88 -- 61 weeks on the chart (16 weeks from 2017) -- Sliding in right behind her former "Good Time" collaborator, Carly Rae also scores her first hit on the chart since the aforementioned smash. "Cut to the Feeling" scored a litany of records, least of which included topping the chart for 11 weeks. This allowed her to secure a solid third place on the all-time last for "Most Weeks at Number One", setting a new standard along the way. Another thing that helped Carly secure the Silver was spending 33 weeks in the Top 10, setting a new place of 5th by beating Twenty Ten~'s hit from 2015, "Moving On", which spent only 32. Another record it obtained was "Longest Climbs to Number One". It did so after 28 weeks, tying it with another hit on this list at 9th place.
3. "You Look Good" by JimC Sq. and Taylor Swift -- Peak at 1 for one week -- 57 weeks on the chart (5 weeks from 2017) -- The Spring and Summer of 2018 is often referred to as "The Wasteland." The term sounds negative, but the idea of it comes from the fact that a vast majority of the songs on the chart during that time found very little movement. And with what their was of it, it was often only going up. A lot of songs earned spots on the record "Longest Climb to the Number One". After spending 47 weeks on the chart, "You Look Good" finally reached the peak, bursting to number one in that record. Four years ago, Lorde's hit "Team" reached it at 38 weeks. At the time, that seemed like an outlier. Last year, "Say You Won't Let Go" did it after 46. It only took a year for another song to break it. While it will probably never happen occur again, The Wasteland for sure helped a lot of songs in this Year End list.
4. "Blue" by Ken Ashcorp -- Peak at 1 for 10 weeks -- 43 weeks on the chart (2 weeks from 2017) -- After making a quick debut at the very last moment in 2017, "Blue" stayed atop the charts for 9 more weeks, finding a nice spot by tying fourth place for "Most Weeks at Number One" at 10 weeks. Ken Ashcorp joins his other hits, "Rival" and "Wear" at this feat, as well as his fellow First Amendment artist JimC Sq.'s "Not Today", Zedd and Kesha's "True Colors", and Brunos Mars' "24K Magic" from last year. After debuting at number one in 2017, it spent a total of 18 weeks in the top 10, securing 6th place in "Most Weeks in the Top 10 After Debuting There". He ties that spot with JimC Sq.'s collab with Styx, "The Jig Is Up", from 2015 and Lorde's hit from last year, "Green Light."
5. "River" by Eminem ft. Ed Sheeran -- Peak at 2 for eight weeks -- 43 weeks on the chart -- After a return to form this year with Kamikaze, it's sort of an oddity to find Eminem's highest ranking song from last year's album, Revival. Boosted by Ed Sheeran's continued success and Eminem's ability to maintain a chart presence, "River" failed to hit number one. However, by staying at the number two spot for eight solid weeks, Eminem falls into fourth place, tying that record with a litany of hits over the past few years. It may not be number one, but the record it did obtain is quickly becoming a class of its own.
6. "Knocking at the Door" by Arkells -- Peak at 2 -- 74 weeks on the chart (31 weeks from 2017) -- A lot of hit songs in the Year End Top 10 often find themselves on the chart for long periods of time. Spending more than a year is rare, spending more than 60 weeks is surprising, but to spend 74 weeks on the charts puts a song in rare class shared by what is now only 5 songs. Two songs on this chart spent at least 70 weeks on the chart, with this hit by Arkells clocking in at third place in the all-time record, tying with Lorde's breakthrough smash, "Royals", from 2013.
7. "Corner Store" by Macklemore ft. Dave B and Travis Thompson -- Peak at 1 for one week -- 37 weeks on the chart -- After 26 weeks, "Corner Store" helped make this year a stellar one from Macklemore by securing number one. By doing so, it secured 12th place for "Longest Climbs to Number One."
8. "Love" by PSY ft. Taeyang -- Peak at 1 for two weeks -- Year End of 2017 - 35 -- 61 weeks on the chart (24 weeks from 2017) -- Continuing PSY's string of success, "Love" sees a boost from 35 last year to the Top 10 this year. It helps that it spends a solid 28 weeks in the Top 10, tying it at 9th place for the longest time spent there with one of Ken Ashcorp's hits, "20 Percent Cooler (Remix)" from 2014. "Love" also scored big by reaching the top spot for two weeks, becoming the second song in a foreign language to do so, the first to do it in Korean, the first male to pull off the feat (shared with Taeynag), and the first collaboration. This only happened after 31 weeks, making it set into 6th place for "Longest Climbs to Number One."
9. "One Foot" by WALK THE MOON -- Peak at 2 for seven weeks -- 40 weeks on the chart
10. "End Game" by Taylor Swift ft. Ed Sheeran and Future -- Peak at 1 for three weeks -- 34 weeks on the chart -- Three songs this year spent 21 weeks on the chart before hitting number one, earning the lowest spot on the record for "Longest Climbs to Number One" at 15th place. "End Game" was one of them.
11. "Anata" by Utada Hikaru -- Peak at 1 for two weeks -- 38 weeks on the chart -- "Anata" enjoyed a nice run on the chart, obtaining a couple records along the way. It became only the third song in a foreign language to reach number one and only the second in Japanese (the other one being Utada's hit from last year, "Michi"). It also did so after spending 27 weeks on the chart. This allowed "Anata" to secure 10th place for "Longest Climb to Number One."
12. "Delicate" by Taylor Swift -- Peak at 1 for one week -- 42 weeks on the chart -- Another song affected by the aforementioned "The Wasteland", "Delicate" helped reputation continue to enjoy a nice stay on the charts. After 33 weeks, it hit the number one spot, landing into 5th place for "Longest Climbs to Number One", tying with Ken Ashcorp's "Crazy Chicks".
13. "Open Up Your Eyes" by Emily Blunt -- Peak at 2 -- 51 weeks on the chart (9 weeks from 2017)
14. "These Days" by Rudimental ft. Jess Glynne, Macklemore, and Dan Caplen -- Peak at 2 -- 40 weeks on the chart
15. "Finesse" by Bruno Mars and Cardi B -- Peak at 1 for one week -- 37 weeks on the chart -- Another song affected by "The Wasteland", "Finesse" spent 28 weeks on the chart before reaching the top spot, tying it in 9th place with "Cut to the Feeling" for "Longest Climb to Number One."
16. "Devil" by Shinedown -- Peak at 4 -- 38 weeks on the chart
17. "Black Lily" by Ken Ashcorp -- Peak at 1 for two weeks -- 28 weeks on the chart --Three songs this year spent 21 weeks on the chart before hitting number one, earning the lowest spot on the record for "Longest Climbs to Number One" at 15th place. "Black Lily" was one of them.
18. "Tech N9ne (Don't Nobody Want One)" by Tech N9ne -- Peak at 4 -- 43 weeks on the chart
19. "Hymn" by Kesha -- Peak at 1 for one week -- 29 weeks on the chart --Three songs this year spent 21 weeks on the chart before hitting number one, earning the lowest spot on the record for "Longest Climbs to Number One" at 15th place. "Hymn" was one of them.
20. "Good Man" by Ne-Yo -- Peak at 4 -- 41 weeks on the chart
21. "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran -- Peak at 2 -- 40 weeks on the chart (12 weeks from 2017)
22. "Feels" by Calvin Harris ft. Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, and Big Sean -- Peak at 2 for ten weeks -- Year End of 2017 - 18 -- 56 weeks on the chart (26 weeks from 2017) -- It's rare for a song to maintain such a high spot in the Year End two years in a row. It's even rarer to maintain a Top 25 spot. "Feels" is able to secure this feat, with more than enough help from spending 10 weeks at number 2 without getting a spot at the top. This feat allows "Feels" to slip into number 3 in that record, tying the spot with Taylor Swift and JimC Sq.'s smash hit from 2014, "Shake It Off".
23. "Home" by Machine Gun Kelly, X Ambassadors, and Bebe Rexha -- Peak at 5 -- 37 weeks on the chart (3 weeks from 2017)
24. "Most Girls" by Hailee Steinfeld -- Peak at 4 -- Year End of 2017 - 61 -- 60 weeks on the chart (26 weeks from 2017)
25. "FLY" by Marshmello x Leah Culver x Ducktales -- Peak at 1 for one week -- 22 weeks on the chart -- By earning a late-in-the-year number one hit, "FLY" became the first song regarded as an instrumental to hit number one. Fun Fact: It's also the first song associated with a Disney property to hit number one since "Let It Go" in 2014, from the box office smash Frozen.

"Leave Out All the Rest" by Linkin Park -- Peak at 1 in 2017, 13 in 2018 -- Year End of 2017 - 6 -- 66 weeks on the chart (22 weeks from 2017) -- Aided by the first anniversary of their lead singer's unfortunate passing, "Leave Out All the Rest" formed a revitalization around July, popping back up to 13. Even with this sudden resurgence, the song enjoyed a long stay on the chart. With 66 weeks in total, it places 6th place in "Most Weeks on the Hot 100", tying the record with "Beyond Her Tomb", "Mama Said Knock You Out", and last year's surprise hit, "The Light" by Disturbed.
34. "Backbone" by Daughtry -- Peak at 13 -- 28 weeks on the chart
