Surprised nobody posted about this yet, but the sales for this are crazy good. It has gotten has high as #3 on country iTunes only behind “Old Town Road” and “The Git Up”. Did he make an appearance on national television recently or is the song really just connecting that well?

The Bachelor performance did wonders for the sales but it was selling pretty well before the television performance.
The song is top 3 on the country sales chart and it's top 8 in Mediabase national callout with just a 10% dislike. The song is connecting for sure. People calling our station asking, "who was that? I loved it."
This will definitely reach #1 sometimes this fall. Just a great song that anyone who is in a serious relationship can relate to.

Since it’s essentially a debut single, I figured there must have been something to push it to the next level in terms of sales. That all being said, people calling into your radio station is definitely similar to how I reacted when I first heard this on the radio. It’s a great song and glad to see it’s becoming the hit it deserves to be.

I like this even though I'm not religious. I look forward to hearing more from him.

That post was probably an intentional troll post. I can't see any other reason for him posting that.

Still no album announcement? Maybe they're waiting to see how a second single will do?

Uhhhh he's giving god credit for this girl showing up in his life. And not giving her any credit at all for anything. Seems highly problematic to me

Seems highly problematic to me So is "Look What God Gave Her" also sexist? “God Gave Me You” as well, or practically any song that has someone thanking God for having them in their life. Don’t most people’s wedding vows include thanking God or some equivalent?

Don’t most people’s wedding vows include thanking God or some equivalent? I'm not monotheistic myself, so I'm not sure, but there's a difference between thanking a god for the opportunity and just saying "you did it all, God! No credit to anyone else! It was all your doing!". A lot of religious people believe in the concept of free will, so what they did would still have an impact from a religious context.

Are we really going here for THIS song? If this offends you, I would hate to live your life.
This song is well written and a nice sentiment for people who are longing for and finally find love. The lyric works for both sexes to me.

I’m by no means a believer but my understanding was always that God was neither a male nor a female, but an all-powerful deity above genders.

Giving God credit is not sexist. I disagree You’re reading to much into it. He hoped, prayed he’d find someone like the woman he found. That’s what it means. It’s not explicitly saying god “gave” him anything.

The ‘Home In A Hometown’ video was released today which features Jimmie Allen. Could totally see that being single two, with both Arista/BBR being behind it (I doubt Jimmie’s current effort is going to get much higher than it is).
Wouldn’t necessarily be my choice, Everywhere But On is a huge smash, but it does sound like a solid hit.
