I think the Grammys typically love Miranda, so not too surprised. I won’t exactly say they love her. I’d say she gets nominated a lot!

Kinda stunned at the nomination. It's a cute bop but nothing that stands out against the rest of the competition imo. Best of luck to her!

After she got robbed for masterpiece The Weight of These Wings, I couldn't expect this nom and I'm not expecting it's going to win.

Looks like this song is done as Miranda Lambert has lost over 300 spins and nearly 1 million in audience the past 2 days. Billboard Peak was #14 and Mediabase was #11, thus continuing Miranda Lambert's streak of missing the top 10 with her own singles as this is now her 7th single in a row to miss the Top 10 (started when "Little Red Wagon" died out in the teens in May of 2015).
As someone who only scanned the album once the selfish side of me wants "Tequila Does" as the next single, but their best bet is probably "Bluebird", which I don't mind. I really hope it is not "Mess With My Head" because that song is just way too pop and loud for my tastes.

Label dropped promotion for this one on Monday.
Literally mirrored the chart run for “Vice.” Similar release date and peak date as well.

Would've loved to see this go at least Top 10, what a shame. Vice deserved much better too. That was a multi-week smash #1 imo.
Between "Bluebird" and "Mess With My Head" I really hope they go with Bluebird. Who knows, they might even throw a curve and release "Locomotive" which I wouldn't be upset with.

Miranda’s finished at radio. This was her best chance . By now, she’ll do best just selling albums and individual songs that appeal to the base. Let’s get her off the charts.

Would've loved to see this hit top 10, but it still did pretty well cause a top 15 peak for a woman still makes it one of the most successful singles of the year for her gender, and I think despite the callout holding it back from peaking higher, it felt like radio was embracing the single as much as they could. With the right follow-up singles, I think she could get a top 10 hit this era. I can see "Bluebird" testing very well and sounding great over the winter/spring months, and it's already proven itself to be one of the most popular tracks on the album with the GP.

I do think country radio is probably phasing Miranda Lambert out just because it has been so long since she had a Top 10 and it is starting to become more of the norm and not the exception, I would love to be proven wrong but my gut is telling me country radio is moving on from Miranda Lambert. Especially when they have Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, and possibly Carly Pearce, as the new breed of female country stars. In a just world Miranda, Carrie and all these new women would get treated all fairly along with other women in country radio.

But seriously, I just think Miranda's best marketing strategy at this point would be to maximize album sales, critical acclaim and award success. I don't think any other track on this album will see much success at radio, unfortunately.

I don't think any other track on this album will see much success at radio, unfortunately. Hit singles on the radio is still one of her best bets at maximizing her album sales, anyway, and she needs to no help in the critical acclaim/award success department since she is easily one of the most critically acclaimed artists in country music. It's obvious that she's not a huge A-list star at country radio anymore, but there's literally no reason for her not to keep pushing singles to radio because despite lower peaks, singles like "Vice," "Tin Man," "Little Red Wagon" etc. all left a sizable impact. Top 10s on airplay aren't everything. The only female artists with more consistent radio stats than her in the last 5 years are Carrie, Kelsea, and Maren, so she's doing perfectly fine.

There will be no conflict. I wish Miranda the best. I just was surprised listening to her album that it didn't seem like anything was much more radio-friendly than "Wash." If this couldn't even make top 10, I wonder how anything else could do much better. Maybe she can release a deluxe edition early next year with something more tailor-made for radio. Something fun like "Baggage Claim." Although I'd love to hear something "Dead Flowers"-esque on the radio. That song always gives me chills.
I didn't mean to be nasty to Miranda. I apologize if I came across that way. My mood swings have been out of control lately. Will try to keep things in check and respond to y'all's feedback better. Thanks for reminding me. Love everyone.

I'm pretty sure this has went recurrent on Billboard. As Maren, Ingrid and Jordan have all entered the top 20.

It can't, it is under 20 weeks on Billboard (Week 19) and this song needs two weeks of losing it's bullet before being eligible to go recurrent. As any song that is under 20 weeks needs two straight weeks of losing it's bullet before going recurrent. Expect "It All Comes Out In The Wash" on the chart just below the Top 20.

Yeah I just seen your chart highlight post. So it will leave the top 20 then and I'm really hoping she can return to the top 10 with a single from this era.

You're correct. #24 this week.
