She killed it on that Opry performance. Gorgeous vocal. So glad to see that this is knocking on the door of top 20 already.

I really hope this song can hit #1 in 2020, and I am feeling really good about this song's chances as "More Hearts Than Mine" zoomed up this past week to #15 on Billboard and the last two days on Mediabase, Ingrid has had very great updates in particular as she has gained 123 spins and 1058k in audience, which is great. Very hopeful and excited to see what 2020 brings for Ingrid Andress, and hopefully the followup does well too (I really hope they go with "Both" or "Lady Like" as her sophomore single).

Very glad this one has done great on the charts and I'm also hoping this can give her a #1 smash in 2020 and that the new decade can catapult her into even more exposure. This is one incredible song and I absolutely love the angle that she takes with it -- how when a relationship ends, it affects everybody around the two people as well.

This is one incredible song and I absolutely love the angle that she takes with it -- how when a relationship ends, it affects everybody around the two people as well. I mentioned this in another thread. The awareness of this girl is absolutely astounding. Many break up songs just mention, "What am I going to do with my life now" or "Woe is ME." Ingrid takes this song to a whole new level when she has the empathy and the awareness to think of her family when introducing her new love for the first time. It's not only the fear of taking that very scary next step together, but now they are attaching their relationship to others that are important to them, which would lead to a domino avalanche if such a relationship were ever destroyed. And let's be honest, how many people think about others when most relationships in songs are portrayed with singular blinders, let alone taking an important step such as meeting the parents? Definitely my favorite song at the moment. Please please please go to #1 (pretty please?).

"More Hearts Than Mine" entered the Mediabase Top 15 tonight at #15 sneaking pass Brett Young and gaining 296 spins. I have to imagine we are getting an album announcement any day now since her debut album is scheduled for March. Also I am still feeling great about this song's chances at least a Top 3 finish as Ingrid Andress has a higher bullet this week than Sam Hunt, Jimmie Allen, Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks/Blake Shelton, and Jordan Davis. Not to mention the sales are also still very great as well (#44 all genre on iTunes).

I'm a huge fan of this. I imagine that it'll be top 10 in 2-3 weeks, and I do think that it has a good chance of going all the way to #1. It's so nice to see a well-written ballad from a female artist being the song that breaks an artist through.

Seems like nobody cares enough about the artist but she released a new song yesterday.

I love "Life Of the Party" as well and can see this also doing well on radio. Absolutely love her voice; Ingrid Andress is one of my favorite discoveries of 2019.

Especially when some of us posted about it where it belonged: in its own thread! lol I'll say I think she's my #1 pick for a new artist poised to really break out in 2020. I was thinking a few weeks ago that with many of the format's major female artists (Miranda, Kacey, Carrie, etc.) being in between record cycles right now, there's room for someone new like her or Gabby Barrett to fill that slot (because there's annoyingly still a ceiling on that).

I see it was released a year ago (and getting Sirius/XM play), so I'm late to the party here but "Lady Like" could be a game-changer for her. That song sounds different enough and stands out to me -- repeat worthy. I think it'll be tough for Ingrid moving forward because of the fact she is a new solo female artist on country radio but "Lady Like" just sounds like something that would be worth a single.

Written by Ingrid Andress, Jason Yik Nam Wu and Jesse "Babyface" Thomas. I don't know if it is a sample or something else. That part is what's shown on Spotify's info page.

That’s the first song I heard of hers (and still my favorite) and I‘ve wondered how well it would fare as a single. Seems like an unconventional choice to me but she also seems like a bit of an unconventional country artist so I think it could pay off for her brand if they’d be willing to invest in it!

I mean, she's naming her album after it. That's a good indicator so far that they want us to pay extra attention to that song! Doesn't mean it will be a single necessarily, but it definitely makes me think that it is meant to be part of her "brand"

Love this song! It sounds excellent and the concept is great. If anything, I wish they went even further into the concept! I'd love to have heard even more about it, like maybe a bridge that reflects on the guys family/friends?

I'd love to have heard even more about it, like maybe a bridge that reflects on the guys family/friends? That's actually a really cool idea! Although I think it could be its own song about two different places where people currently are in a relationship. Asking to meet someone's parents could hint at the first lover wanting the relationship to go further and the bridge can enlighten the audience on how the other lover doesn't want to take things too fast. Would be a really cool twist if that other lover turned out to be Ingrid and she's referencing back to this song!

Enters the Mediabase Top 10 at #9 gaining over 500 spins this week. I do think this song is a probable lock for #1 as Ingrid Andress has a solid lead on the songs below (Riley Green and Gabby Barrett) and the songs just ahead of "More Hearts Than Mine" (Jordan Davis and Brett Young) are single week #1s. Very happy this beautiful song has connected so well (over 14 million views for the music video on YouTube) and despite her album being only 8 songs and her being a solo female artist I hope she continues to have success (fingers crossed "Both" is the next single).

I hope Warner is able to finagle a #1 peak for this somehow, but it's looking more and more likely like this one will get blocked from the top as Blake Shelton's mega hit continues to vastly out-gain Ingrid after passing her. :/
