This sounds great. I believe this will get Lady A back to #1.

This song is incredible. It's crazy how long it took them to give us another one like this when it's the style of song that led to their most success. Glad that they went with something in this vein for their first offering on the new label. Love, love, love this. The harmonies are great and like others said the climax at the back half of the song is wonderful.

Love it! It’s so smooth and catchy and that climax is everything! I hope their new album lives in the vein of this song because it’s perfection coming from them.

Unless I missed it somewhere in the thread they said on Bobby Bones Show that Ryan Hurd is one of the songwriters on this song. Who are the other writers? I'm guessing maybe Charles and Dave wrote this with him?

I like this one a lot. Reminds me of early Lady A. I bet it will be a big hit for them

I think this will be a big hit too. I wonder if their formal label will try to cash in on its success if it is a big hit, and release a greatest hits album around the time that this peaks. They are due for one, and we've seen labels use that strategy a lot of times before.

While it's possible, I would think they'd wait to release that when there's a new album from Lady A, not unlike what RCA did with Martina.

I can't stop playing this. Like a lot of people above, the climax of the song just pulls me in. I think it's natural for artists to experiment (747, Heart Break). I feel like experimentation keeps the creativity alive. Sure, Lady A has had a few missteps lately, but I think it's just part of what you get with any artist at one point or another. Charles said that the ups are much more valuable now because of the downs the group had to go through. I hope "What If I Never Get Over You" propels them back to the top and they can enjoy more ups in their career, because they are so damn talented.

MCA also did that to Trisha Yearwood ( Greatest Hits came out the week before Heaven, Heartache, And The Power Of Love). It would make sense since Lady A is probably due for a hits album anyway.

And given that seems to be what Walmart still sells, it’ll likely be their only CD available in stores in a year or so.

I like this, but the melody feels a bit flat for it to be a lead single. I think they really need something that will stick in people's heads for a big comeback hit. This one seems more like a good album cut.

I get your point but coming from unstable and experimental songs this one brought back some Lady A roots that we´ve missed it and it can work out as a comeback hit.

Second most added song with 115 stations for adds. Does anyone know how "You Look Good" did on add week? This vastly outperformed YLG, which got 83 (EDIT: 81) adds.

This makes me so happy and optimistic for this song. "You Look Good" did pretty well on the charts getting a Top 5 peak but this song should hopefully be the ones to bring them back to #1. Also sales remain great as this is still at #6 all genre on iTunes just behind "God's Country".

I can't remember how high You Look Good got on iTunes, but I seem to recall it not doing all that great for a lead single. It's great to see this one still in the top ten overall. I really feel like this could potentially be their biggest single in quite a while!

That adds number is spectacular. Just wow.
Is this the first time two songs received over 100 adds in the same week?

This is fantastic. Reminds me so much of what you would hear on their debut album when I fell in love with them. This is so good and only gets better the more I hear it. I played it all weekend and I loved it more and more with each listen.

This one seems more like a good album cut. The style reminds me a little of "All For Love", a great album track from years ago. Still wish they released that one.

I´ve always loved "All For Love" and I wished it had been a single.
It seems "What If I Never Get Over You" is the most added song from Lady A ever!

Man, Ryan Hurds songs have great, great progression
I wonder if he ever pitched Love In a Bar to Lady A? They’d kill that song

Debuted at #86 on the Hot 100! To compare, YLG only debuted 4 months after it was released because of the ACMs.
