Debuted at #86 on the Hot 100! To compare, YLG only debuted 4 months after it was released because of the ACMs. Also taking into account the double album bomb, there are 13 album tracks from Tyler, The Creator and DJ Khaled debuting above.

I thought it would be fitting to make my 1,000th post in a Lady A thread, haha.
“What If I Never Get Over You” has slowed down considerably in the last 2 weeks with the bullet even falling below 100 once, but that’s to be expected in such a jam-packed chart. I think this can manage a 25-35 week run to the top 5 if callouts don’t get in the way. If they don't mess up the single choices, I think Big Machine can give Lady A a Jake Owen-level resurgence at country radio.
P.S. I’ve really enjoyed being a part of the Pulse community for the last year and a half, and I hope to be here for many more. :)

This is the best song on radio right now. This coming from someone who hasn’t been a big fan of theirs since 2013.

This is the best song on radio right now. This coming from someone who hasn’t been a big fan of theirs since 2013. What If I Never Get Over You Is absolutely THE BEST. Love LadyA and most of their songs. Currently, I have that song along with Scotty McCreery In Between (although it is struggling big time) on repeat. Absolutely my favorites on the charts right now.

"Ocean" is beautiful. Much better than "Pictures" but this single is still king. I cannot get over how amazing this song is! I hope its a multi-week #1.

This feels like the authentic Lady Antebellum we haven't seen in so long. So glad they left Dungan and his sleazy corporate label. Easily a #1.

"Ocean" is doing VERY well on iTunes (top 10 since release) and YouTube (already nearly 1 million views). I wouldn't be surprised if they went with that for the next single even if it isn't too radio-friendly.

Still surprised Capitol has not released a Greatest Hits yet from Lady Antebellum. Compilations may not sell as well as they used to, but does any album sell well these days? Compilations still chart well, though - look how many compilations are charting on Top Country Albums.

I'm glad to see this song is continuing to climb the charts. I hope it manages to go top 5 at least. Would love to see it get to #1.
"Ocean" is absolutely breathtaking. "Pictures" is quite nice too. I'm looking forward to their next album!

There's about 6 weeks until the album is released (which also happens to be 2 days after the CMAs). If they're planning to perform on the CMAs, I think it would be in their best interest to jump start the next single (especially considering their history with second singles) there and let this fall after the album week. That might mean that this will only peak at #6 or #7, but pushing for the highest peak possible ("You Look Good") can sometimes end up doing more harm (the dismal chart run of "Heart Break") than good (a #4 peak for YLG when it should've been a #10 peak at most).

I understand the worry and what you are getting at but I COMPLETELY disagree. The difference here is "You Look Good" is a novelty song and this is a touching, honest, mega-smash. It's also only been on the charts for 20 weeks and there doesn't seem to be much or any indication people are sick of this yet. This is an occurrence where I believe the 30 week chart run is totally fine -and can only help a second single. Heart Break floundering is a head scratcher, but "Goodbye Town" was boring and "Freestyle" was horrible, so that is why those two stalled. I think whatever they release second (if it is as good as the other songs we have heard so far) will have more than a fighting chance after this stellar lead single.

They need to ride this one out. Their at a point in their career when success isn’t guaranteed anymore. This one seems to be connecting and gives them a real shot of another top 5.

I hope you’re right. :) It’s true that they’ve made many a dismal choice for their second singles, and it boggles my mind how they could listen to the 747 album and think that “Freestyle”, of all songs, was the best possible choice for the second single.

At this point, they aren't guaranteed anything, so if a song is a hit, they might as well ride it out and push it as far as they can (not unlike the Zac Brown Band).

Lady A is 5/5 so far with their pre-album tracks for me. I've been really impressed.

Officially enters the Top 10 on Mediabase at #9, Lady Antebellum's first Top 10 since "You Look Good". Hoping this can at least be a Mediabase #1, would love Billboard as well but I have a nagging sense that some song is gonna block this on Billboard when it is ready to peak.

"What If I Never Get Over You" also enters the Billboard top 10 this week, in its 26th week.

I hope this song finds its time to shine at #1 for at least a week on both charts, as it should've done months ago. One of my all-time favorite singles from them. Can't wait for the album on Friday!!

This should get a big boost on the Hot 100 this week (from CMA boost) and next week (from album release). #5 on iTunes currently. :)
