This might make Old Town Road and Beautiful Crazy look like minor hits

I am interested to see if this will rival "Beautiful Crazy" as the biggest song of 2019.

Probably the most excited I’ve been to hear the studio version of a song it quite some time. I hope the single version captures the energy of the live clips we’ve seen. Can’t wait

We think Luke Combs is huge now. This is only the beginning. It's happening, folks. I am incredibly excited to hear the magic that I'm sure occurred in the studio with this song.

I am really looking forward to this. I had liked his entire first album and the clip above sounds really good. So hyped!

Love this jam. Short and sweet, but his fans love it already and I’m betting country radio will too

Great lead off single. I hope “Refrigerator Door” makes the album. That song is another smash waiting to happen.

I mean, it's a fun song, and I'm sure it'll be a big hit...but no one else finds this a little lacking as a lead single?

Can't. Freaking. Wait. His music is so good and I'm beyond ready for the follow-up record. I imagine this will rocket up the charts like all his previous singles, which is good news because I want the full album asap.

I mean, it's a fun song, and I'm sure it'll be a big hit...but no one else finds this a little lacking as a lead single? It’s definitely a very straightforward song, but it’s a fan favorite already. That by itself will carry the song a long way. No doubt he has even better material waiting.

I know this is the lead single to Luke Combs' second album. However, according to the Billboard Country Update, This One's For You has now spent 32 weeks at #1 on the country albums chart. I have amended the top 25 albums:
1. Come On Over-Shania Twain-Mercury-1997-50 2. Always & Forever-Randy Travis-Warner Bros.-1987-43 3. No Fences-Garth Brooks-Capitol-1990-41 4. This One's For You-Luke Combs-Columbia-2017-40 5. Fly-the Dixie Chicks-Monument-1999-36 6. O Brother, Where Art Thou-Soundtrack-Mercury-2000-35 7. Some Gave All-Billy Ray Cyrus-Mercury-1992-34 8. Ropin' The Wind-Garth Brooks-Capitol-1991-33 9. Killin' Time-Clint Black-RCA-1989-31 10. Need You Now-Lady Antebellum-Capitol-2010-31 11. Not A Moment Too Soon-Tim McGraw-Curb-1994-29 12. The Woman In Me-Shania Twain-Mercury-1995-29 13. Traveller-Chris Stapleton-Mercury-2015-29 14. Feels So Right-Alabama-RCA-1981-28 15. Mountain Music-Alabama-RCA-1982-28 16. Blue-LeAnn Rimes-Curb-1996-28 17. Some Hearts-Carrie Underwood-Arista-2005-27 18. Kenny-Kenny Rogers-United Artists-1979-25 19. Fearless-Taylor Swift-Big Machine-2008-25 20. Taylor Swift-Taylor Swift-2006-24 21. The Gambler-Kenny Rogers-United Artists-1979-23 22. Always On My Mind-Willie Nelson-Columbia-1982-22 23. Behind Closed Doors-Charlie Rich-Epic-1973-21 24. The Closer You Get-Alabama-RCA-1983-21 25. This feels light for a lead single from a critical PoV, nothing to do with how I think it will perform commercially.

This will be a huge hit, but I was really hoping that "Houston, We Got a Problem" would get released as a single. A record tying #1 was in the making. Oh well.

I honestly think it’s the perfect lead single of all the new songs he’s been playing. He’s had 2 ballad-esque type songs in a row so leading off with an uptempo song was the best way to go I think.

I guess you can say the lyrics but I don't find much ballad esque with "She Got The Best of Me". That song was a solid mid to uptempo song and didn't seem to have any semblance to a ballad.

Out now on all streaming platforms. Super straightforward song like I mentioned before, but that hook works and is perfect for the summer. Love the guitar on this one as well!

More of the same. I'm sure I'll grow to love this one, but it's not great for my long term interest in him. That doesn't matter of course since sure radio will lap up whatever he releases for the next 20 years.

Already #3 on country itunes behind Old Town Road Remix and God's Country. #12 overall.

This one is gonna be huge. Not crazy about the heavy production on first listen (do love the banjo), but I get exactly why they did it; uptempo, rocking, summer anthem. Combs can't miss right now. Amazing that less than 3 1/2 years ago I was talking to him in a room of maybe 150 he was playing for and he said he didn't care if he ever signed a record deal. Was glad to just be doing what he was doing and perfectly happy if he went the independent route. Think it worked itself out.

Already #3 on country itunes behind Old Town Road Remix and God's Country. #12 overall. Old Town Road is no longer listed on country itunes, and hasn't been for a bit. Anyways this is already 6th all genre. I would be surprised if it doesn't hit #1 later today.
