Good. A lead single. I want this to top the chart for the reigning C.M.A. and A.C.M. Entertainer of the Year.

All Access listed the song as impacting May 14th, but that was always the release date. They’ve made that mistake before lol.

Anybody else find the title annoying already? I immediately want to call it "We Were Us".

Same, but for me I keep thinking of Randy Houser’s "We Went."

Smart of him to move on quickly after the last flop era. I still enjoyed the era but it clearly was going nowhere from the beginning.

It is still so crazy he had smash album after smash album with minimal award recognition, finally delivers a flop album and wins 2 Entertainer of the Year awards LOL.
I hope this is much better than the last record. I love Keith but the last record was the first I flat out disliked in his entire career.

Welcome back Keith Urban.
But in all seriousness, this is really freaking good. The production is on point and sounds more like something you would have heard 10 years ago. I will greatly embrace a direction more towards this sound for Keith.

This is so good! Hopefully this returns him to #1. I still wish they would’ve released “Horses” as a single from Graffiti U.

This is incredible. After really not liking much from his last era (but absolutely loving the one previous) this is such a treat. I am a sucker for the reminiscent songs, but this one is one of the best. I plan on listening to this song all day.

This sounds like prime Keith Urban. I love it. This will quickly help me forget the Graffiti U era. I am excited to hear more of this from Keith.

Turns out this song may sound even better (and more in Jeff Hyde's style) at x0.75 speed. Try it on Youtube!

I'm gonna have to listen to this a few more times to figure out how much I like it, but it's without a doubt, a million times better than his last few singles.

Damn, what a song. I generally have liked everything Keith has ever released (even Graffiti U was decent to me, although it was definitely his worst effort, and "Female" and "Never Comin' Down" never should have been singles) but this is easily his best single released since probably "Til Summer Comes Around".
I hope this can reignite his radio career. He seems to still be hugely popular within the industry, given the fact that he won Entertainer of the Year at both the CMAs and ACMs despite his lackluster Graffiti U era. Then again, I'm hoping that the CMA and ACM voters weren't trying to signal that they were done voting for him after this past year, by finally awarding him after many long years where he didn't win many awards. Can't know for sure, I guess, until we see how "We Were" does. It sounds like a hit to me, and I hope radio embraces it big time.

Currently a totally respectable 14th and climbing on the all genre charts. Country chart is just hard right now, with the new Luke C release, and the Blake and Morgan songs

I'm a little surprised Eric Church didn't keep this one for himself. This song has his name written all over it...not that Keith doesn't sound good singing it...he does & it's a good fit for him...just seems like a homerun for Eric.

We Were...Us? That was a good song but it came out over 5 years ago.
In all reality though, just listened to this and it sounds really good. I liked his last album but I like how this is more of a true Keith sound.

Writers are Eric Church, Ryan Tyndell and Jeff Hyde. Produced by Keith Urban and Dann Huff. Without even listening, based on reports of what it sounded like, I knew this was a Dann Huff coproduction. He’s worked so long With KU that to revert to classic sounds means to get Dann.

Doesn’t fit Church in 2019 as a 42 year old. Would’ve fit on his first couple albums, but he doesn’t sing about stuff like this anymore.

This reminds me very much like, "Hippie Radio," (most recent album) and, "Round Here Buzz," (the one previous).

This is fantastic. I'm on board with this one too. Best single of his in quite some time, certainly better than the 3 straight duds he gave us as singles from Graffiti U. I'm glad that they quickly moved on from that era to new music because this song is perfectly in line with the type of music I want from Keith.

I am probably in the minority on this, but I'm not really digging this on first listen. It didn't grab me at all. Sounded Kind of pieced together and it has no dynamics whatsoever.
