I'd just like this to be released on Amazon if he's ever going too. I've had the album preordered ever since he announced it. I did however here him say on Bobby Bones Show that there's going to be a song on the album called "Party Gras".

I finally heard this for the first time today. I have to say it’s not bad at all. Probably the best single from the new album so far. As far as how it does on the charts I have no clue how it will fare in the end but I’d like to see it at least hit the top 10. I also can’t believe I’m saying this but Garth’s wife has a better single out than him right now I think.

Blake's inclusion on this song saves it from being totally useless, but unsurprisingly to me, Trisha Yearwood's husband drags it down.

Honestly, I think a lot of country radio listeners just wish Garth Brooks would release better music (a la "Ask Me How I Know," which my mom loves) or go away. This won't make it past its initial peak position, which was largely due to fake, pre-arranged spins.

This sucks. I used to adore Garth, but other than a handful of songs since his return, he makes such bad music. This is no different. :(

I don't really like this one. True, it's two of my least favorite artists, but I have listened to it several times now on the Highway and it really bores me, honestly. And the production sounds so muddy/muted/weird, which has been the case for all of Garth's recent releases.

Just AWFUL. I’m glad he still makes his music not readily accessible... he’s doing us all a favor.

This is what happens when you remain too loyal to your “team” and end up with people who can’t compere (for the most part) with current production. Imagine what he would sound like with Jay Joyce or another producer, say Michael Knox or even Don Was, and it’s be miles better.

I was just thinking to myself if Garth hadn't been around in the 90's besides George Strait who would've been the biggest star? The first artists that came to mind was Tim McGraw or Alan Jackson. One could argue Clint Black too I guess.

I heard this on the radio and wasn’t impressed at all. Melody is super weak and Garth truly sounds AWFUL on it. I had to change the station, so not my thing.

I preordered the album on Amazon and can't even download this as you have to have an Amazon Unlimited subscription. Then you can only stream it with the subscription.

I am not an Amazon Unlimited subscriber and I can both stream and download "Dive Bar" with the pre-order of the album. I did it with no issue and I say that as someone who has had a fair amount of Amazon Music related issues when it comes to Garth.

I just checked again and now if you had pre-ordered his new album, you can now download the song. Earlier in the day I wasn't able to download but just checked now after a few hours ago, wasn't able to earlier but now it's up for download.

That was my problem earlier too but now I have the song in my library.

To my knowledge as of yesterday Garth becomes the only artist not to have any of his music on iTunes since the rock band Tool finally released their catalog on there.

This one keeps losing spins this week. It's gained over 200 spins the past three weeks but that's a bit misleading because of the panel change that was reflected two weeks ago.
I think it can eek out a top 20 peak on Mediabase but that should be it. Its debut on Billboard back in June (#16) will probably be its peak. There's no interest or buzz with this song for radio.

Yeah, and plus Blake's new song is now competing with this for spins. This will probably be taken out of most stations' playlists next week when they add "Hell Right." Safe to say radio's finally done with Garth. He can go along pushing his legacy for album sales or whatever now.

I thought they were gonna make a music video for this where the heck is it Said on Studio G last night that they are filming it in the next 9 days. Expect two videos. An actually produced music video and a performance video from when they performed it in concert a few weeks ago.

An interesting tidbit is that "Dive Bar" is listed as produced by Garth Brooks. Not Mark Miller whom has produced the Man Against Machine and Gunslinger albums plus the single "All Day Long". Garth was announced as the producer for "Dive Bar" on the CMA Nominations livestream, plus Billboard has him listed as the producer too on their charts.

I don't think the video will make the song successful. It's obvious many former fans are not liking this. And current fans have no reason to prefer this over other hot tunes.
