Leon Huff Points: 28224 paulhaney rockgolf Also updated Kenny Gamble's stats, his total increases from 28376 to 28878 after checking all the songwriting credits on BMI and finding a couple more songs. That should also complete the top 60. The most important remaining songwriter I have left to do is Maurice Gibb who should have around 22000 points.

thegreatdivine - updated will.i.am's total, which drops from 17520 to 16464 points despite finding a few other songs he had writing credits on, since the official credits showed he had a several more co-writers on a lot of his songs.

Roger Greenaway Points: 4982 thegreatdivine: Updated Justin Timberlake's points after checking the ASCAP credits, they decrease from 17744 to 16632 points due to extra songwriters here and there.

Gotta say I like the Huff format of sorting by title instead of act. Makes it easier to compare versions.

Gotta say I like the Huff format of sorting by title instead of act. Makes it easier to compare versions. I didn't realize I forgot to sort it by act. I have the list sorted by title when checking the songwriters since that's how ASCAP and BMI have their lists of songs by songwriter sorted. If the rest of you prefer having it sorted that way I can do it like that from now on.

Faheem Najm (T-Pain) Points: 14235 thegreatdivine: also updated Ludacris' points after checking the songwriting credits on BMI, reducing his points from 19270 to 17997.

Joe South Points: 12360 thegreatdivine: also updated Lady Gaga's points, I had Born This Way at only 2 writers but there were actually 4, so her points got reduced from 16439 to 15802. Now that I only have Maurice Gibb left among songwriters with a significant shot at making the top 100 I'll be focusing on double checking the top 100, starting with the ones near the bottom of the top 100 (and the ones right below the cut-off).

Bill Anderson Points: 6709 thegreatdivine: New points updates using ASCAP/BMI's database: Alicia Keys' points increase from 16982 to 17010 with the addition of "Ghetto Story Chaper 2" which I previously missed. Calvin Harris' points drop from 17407 to 17175 with the addition of a couple songwriters on some songs.

Maurice Gibb Points: 17791 rockgolf paulhaney thegreatdivine kierz7 - that should be it for the all time top 100. The order might change a bit as I continue double checking the songwriting credits using BMI/ASCAP's databases, but I've now calculated the points of everyone that has a significant shot at making the top 100. Speaking of which, I've double checked/updated the songwriting credits for two more songwriters. Barry White's points increase from 16458 to 16761. Savan Kotecha's points increase from 16498 to 16967, as "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored" charted a few weeks since last update, and "Don't Call Me Angel", "Motivation" and "How Do You Sleep?" are added to his points.

nickd great job! It's really impressive that it took you just 6 months to compile the points of 200 acts.

Kandi Burruss Points: 6225 Also double checked a couple more songwriters Bob Crewe - his points increase from 17090 to 17564 Ne-Yo - his points increase from 16420 to 16573 Also realized that I missed Warren G's "Regulate" for Leiber and Stoller, it samples their song "I Keep Forgettin". That adds 590 points to each.

Daryl Simmons Points: 17922 thegreatdivine Maurice Gibb was the last songwriter I thought had a good chance at making the top 100, but I still knew there was a small chance Daryl Simmons could make it. I was expecting him to have closer to 15000 points though since he has fewer hits than L.A. Reid, but I guess they were either bigger or with fewer co-writers. Also double checked Bryan Adams, his points increase from 16334 to 16689.

Thanks for all your work nickd 😍 So is the top 50 complete for now? No other artists will enter it? Yeah. The top 100 should be complete too. There's only a couple more left that have a very small chance of entering in the 80s-90s of the ranking (but will most likely end up around 120-150).

Kesha Sebert Points: 6387 Also double checked and updated a few songwriters to include songs on the Dec 14 Hot 100 chart. Kanye West's total increases from 16885 to 17086 points with the addition of "Internet" and a few more weeks from "Jesus Is King" songs (looks like "Follow God" will no longer chart on the Dec 21 chart?), as well "Mama", "Mixed Personalities" and "One Minute" which I missed in my previous update. Louis Bell's total increases from 10808 to 13796 points as hits like "Without Me", "Sunflower", "Wow" and "Sucker" racked up additional weeks, "Hollywood Bleeding's" album bomb gets added, as well "Graveyard", "Writing On The Wall", "Easier" and three album tracks from Taylor's "Lover". Savan Kotecha's total increases from 16967 to 16979 points as "How Do You Sleep?" gains another week. I won't if "Santa Tell Me" will be able to chart at all this holiday season.

Floyd Nathaniel Hills (Danja) Points: 11085 Other updates Beyonce's points increase from 17203 to 17261 after adding "Playing Games" which samples "Say My Name". Missy Elliott's points decrease from 15246 to 14639 after double checking songwriting credits.

BTW does anyone know why Kanye doesn't have any official credit on "All Falls Down" and "Through The Wire" and only the writers of the songs he samples do?

Actually it seems to be the same with "03 Bonnie & Clyde", only the writers of the two songs sampled are credited in BMI and ASCAP's database, Kanye West and Jay-Z are not.

Added Mi Gente to Beyonce's stats since that's the version that counts for the overall chart run on things like the YE lists. The same is not true for Perfect Duet so it'll continue to count as only an Ed Sheeran song.

It would be really cool to see the breakdown by songwriter for songwriting royalties on websites of ASCAP, BMI, etc, but you do still see the breakdown according to how much each publishing company controls, which is cool. For example, with Crazy In Love, ASCAP only controls 12.5%, they represent Beyonce and Jay-Z, while Eugene Record and Rich Harrison, the two other co-writers, are represented by BMI who control 87.5% - a very uneven split, since that means the BMI songwriters each own a 7x bigger slice of the pie than what Beyonce and Jay-Z own. yeah. it's shame they don't have full list. I used to go through publisher's website to see their breakdown, some of them still have it. btw, Sampling cost lots of publishing. usually 50% of publishing/credit. some songs with multiple sampling would be like 7~80% ish. lol BTW... what publishers still have the breakdown?
