Unlike most of the other songs tonight, Number 52 briefly broke out of the top 40 early before sinking into the bottom 6. Four people lose top 40s, including one unlucky soul that loses a top 20. This song got melted by 5 bottom 10s (but no perfectos). The 16th lowest standard deviation appears here.

Scandal!
I had thought for the longest time that this peaked at #60. But apparently, with some help from Fortnite, this ended up at #28 earlier this year.
I'll go out and hand out the refunds...oh wait, this rankdown was free! #52

The last reveal for tonight, number 51, is the last of three songs that failed to break out of the bottom 10 (the others were Dessert and Burn the House Down). Although it did spend a couple of reveals in the low 40s, it spent most of its time in the low to mid 50s. Although it's the most divisive reveal of the night, it's still the 25th lowest. Four top 40s fall by the wayside, but 5 people clearly didn't like this by shows of bottom 5s. 2 more people drop bottom 10s.

I wouldn’t have expected “Dessert” to have peaked so low on the Hot 100 given the amount of times I remember hearing it in video edits back in the day. Nevertheless, that’s a pretty agreeable bottom 5, at least for the songs I’ve heard.
It’s funny how some of these songs flopped in the US but managed to be quite big hits elsewhere. Infamously, Mariah Carey’s “I Want To Know What Love Is” spent 27 weeks at number 1 in the Brazilian charts, while I swear “Runnin” is the only Beyoncé song I ever get to hear on French radio.
Looking back on the list, there are some real gems I haven’t noticed previously, so my support now goes to “Say Amen”, “Human”, “On Top Of The World”, “Runnin”, and Jennifer Hudson’s “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going”

Number 50 got off to an OK start before people started turning against it. We're losing the 20th lowest Standard deviation. Someone loses a top 10 and 4 more lose top 40s. But 5 posters sprinted away from this one with bottom 10s (no Perfectos, though).

Maybe big things weren't expected of #49, but it did look like it was going to end up in the high 30s and low 40s in the early going. But it hit a wall and skidded to its final spot. The 24th lowest Standard Deviation shows itself here. Unlike the last song, its support is more muted. One person loses a top 20 and two others come pretty close. But like other songs this early, five haters make sure to lose a bottom 10 including 2 who finally lose their #56.

Number 48 is a bit different than the other songs previewed so far in that it had some promise. Admittedly, it was hovering in the upper 30s to mid 40s. But its decline occurred later with the last few entries. No real controversy as we're losing the 4th lowest standard deviation. We lose a pair of top 30s and 3 bottom 10s which indicates that this song didn't quite roar the way the artists were hoping. Bah ram ewe.

Like most other songs tonight, number 47 had dreams of moving up the ladder. But it stayed in a fairly narrow range of 36 to 46 the entire time until the last entry dropped it to this spot. It did have the 8th lowest standard deviation. However, it does have one poster lose a top 15 and another lose a top 25. But to be honest, one poster really didn't like this one placing it in the bottom 3.

(Shuts Down)
Wait, what?
I bought the retail version!
While I make some calls at work tomorrow to straighten this out, let me tell you about #46.
For starters, unlike most songs so far, this song has spent time in the top 30. It spent half the lists in the top 40.
For another thing, this is the 18th Highest Standard Deviation (a nice preview for tomorrow's fireworks).
One poster loses a top 20 and 5 others loses a top 30. Maybe they'll be upset at the 5 posters who placed this in their bottom 10 (4 of whom placed this in their bottom 5).
