Hopefully this is a lot better then “Knockin’ Boots”. I mean it couldn’t be worse or could it?

I think at worst this is another generic bro-country era song.

Based on the title, I am not optimistic.

I’ll wait to hear it but the snippets sound like a throwaway from his Kill the Lights or What Makes You Country albums. I’ve given Luke a lot of free passes in the past few years, liking even the questionable stuff he’s put out. “Knockin’ Boots” was the first single of his (probably ever) that I hated...too overproduced and terrible lyrics. I feel like this one won’t be any better unfortunately.

From the cover art to the title to the sample, this looks and sounds like a prime example of Metro-Bro already. I am so tired of these kind of songs.

More bro-country, so I’m sure it’ll go #1. It’s annoying that women are struggling in the format and they actively promote crap like this.

I will take bro-country any day over the crap being put out by Sam Hunt and Dan+ Shay with beiber that’s getting so much attention right now.

You haven't even heard it yet, so to call it bro-country and crap on it's very short preview is unfair. It's hard to take people's opinions serious when they don't even hear a full song and make assumptions on it. You may be right. But, can you wait 12 hours and actually listen to the whole song before pushing your agenda? 2. "Bro-country" hasn't really been a thing now for years... 3. I agree with you. So many women (and a lot of talented men as well) get passed over for crap songs. But c'mon Listen to the whole thing before saying all this.

Just based on the photo still I have seen from the music video, it’s giving me a Crash My Party/Drunk On You vibe. Then again this is Luke Bryan and he’s thrown me a curve before.

"Knockin' Boots" who?!?!? I don't know him This was one hell of a song imo! I loved how high up his vocals went towards the end of the choruses. Most certainly an improvement over KB and it doesn't sound bro-country to me. Either way, Luke Bryan is a man, so it's going to #1 regardless of sound or quality I wonder if this is the "big gun" lead single. (It certainly sounded like it) As in, I wonder if Album 7 will officially be announced soon, with release date, title, cover, and everything. It's the CMAs in roughly two weeks so it's the perfect time to announce that to create even more buzz. If he's performing this song (which is probably likely) then having the album available for pre-order would help its first-week sales, as well as this song's streaming count. Also can we briefly recognize Hillary Lindsey for writing nearly every country radio single under the sun and having 99.9% of them go to #1

This is an opinion and it's probably gonna be extremely controversial and I'm probably way out in left field with it but... Good Lord. I heard absolutely no "thinking-with-his- insert body part" kind of male ego in this song whatsoever. Not every song by a man is about that man thinking they're superior and can just get what they want. In fact, I would argue that Carrie Underwood (and I stan the woman and this song hardcore) is guilty of assuming what men want in "Drinking Alone":
I don't know what she did to make you hurt like this But, I know just what to do It starts with a bottle of good Reposado And ends with a shooter or two Tomorrow when the sun comes up Tonight is the night that never was Baby, just forget my nameIf we're gonna be hyper-analytical about every song we hear: In DA, you could assume through just the lyrics I put up above that Carrie is wanting to get both herself and this random dude drunk and then have a one-night stand. I've seen enough SVU to know that unless he consents, she'd be guilty of sexual assault. However, that's not even 0.000000001% what her goal is in the song, so why would we go to such an extreme level to try and shun Carrie...the same goes, in a way, for Luke. Why go to such lengths to be so nit-picky when you could just enjoy the music? Here's the bottom line: the lyrics from both songs are able to be interpreted in any way, and that's the greatest thing about music. (Besides, it requires lots of work to determine exactly what songs do what a certain bad way so why don't we just enjoy the music and strive for equality at the same time?) Just another note: Not all men think with their privates and not all men are disrespectful towards women. We have to recognize this fact before stuffing all men into a box by jumping to conclusions about every single song a guy comes out with. Oh and I'm gonna just get off my soapbox by reminding the world that the same woman co-wrote both Luke's and Carrie's songs. More importantly in this case, she co-wrote Luke's song. So it's not a song about assuming what women want which makes this entire post nearly pointless. It's rather a song about a woman taking control which I thought was what we women all want to see nowadays

More middle-of-the-road fluff from Luke Bryan. The one thing that stood out to me on first listen was awful he sounded on that run he attempted in the first verse. Yikes. The rest of the song beyond that was just the usual vanilla fodder I expect from him 90% of the time. Not really feeling it. "Knockin' Boots" got old real fast, but it at least stood out a little more than this one does.

Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean releasing singles that sound like 18 of their other singles? Grass is green.

They certainly aren’t doing any service to women.

Sounds like "Home Alone Tonight Part 2", so I'm not here for it. I also read an article or something that called it 'sultry' and that's not exactly the word I would use to describe the song's aura... a bro-pop mess sounds more like it. This is way better than "Knockin' Boots" but man... I'm ready for some quality Luke Bryan music again. I know that's always been few and far in between (and that it's all subjective) but I know what he's capable of because he's done some amazing work in the past.

The topic is not exactly progressive but the song is literally about a woman taking agency over her actions and him not knowing why he’s lucky enough to be on the receiving end of that.
There’s wayyyyy more problematic stuff than this if people really want to go down that path of analyzation.

It’s simple but effective. The melody is pleasant and it’s just easy going fluff. Sounds like a decent size hit and should do well for him.

This is a bop.
I didn't really pay attention to the lyrics but yeah, I picked up some lines I didn't like.

The melody is sure infectious I will give it that. But with these lyrics can't say it's something I'll be too ecstatic to hear on radio. Disappointing considering I thought his last 4 singles was a pretty solid run of good songs
