That list of albums is such a joke. DaBaby and Chris Brown's Indigo above The Life of deleted?
Born This Way #138 despite selling 1m+ copies in its first week and spawning 4 top ten hits?

rockgolf so they won't be announcing the artist of the decade until April at the BBMAs? Can't say I'm surprised. That's a great thing to milk for the show. It'll get more press for Drake's win tbh. Websites & media talk more about BBMAs then decade/year-ends.

Websites & media talk more about BBMAs then decade/year-ends. That's true, plus it would have been really silly to give away all the decade-end honours by just posting about it. With that being said, Drake will probably extend his lead for the most BBMAs (a headline that gave them a lot of press this year). He should win Hot 100, Billboard 200, streaming and overall artist of the decade at the award show. He might also win more awards in the rap categories.

"Billboard's decade-end recaps encompass chart performance from Dec. 5, 2009, through Sept. 28, 2019". Way to distort the definition of what a decade is, Billboard! Billboard is having their 125th anniversary this month so they wanted the decade list as a bonus selling point.

The digital sales chart makes zero sense. Unless they'll be posting an actual list by digital song sales?

^As with the Hot 100, the component charts are based on inverse points by position.

Out of this decade end list, what would be the 20 most iconic songs? Out of this list, I can only confidently say that Uptown Funk, Shape of You, Closer, Rolling In The Deep, Somebody That I Used To Know, We Found Love, Despacito, Old Town Road, Radioactive, Shake It Off, Happy and Counting Stars.

Since billboard counted beerbong singles as hip hop songs, post Malone has the most successful hip hop album of the 2010s

You Say actually made the decade-end digital top 50. I'm not happy.
Edit: Apparently Greatest Love Story made the decade-end country songs. I'm happy again.

I wonder if, when updated, Beerbongs & Bentleys will be the biggest Billboard 200 hip hop album of all time

Still can't believe Girls like you is ranked the 5th biggest song of the DECADE. In the future people are going to look back and see that and think it was bigger then half the other songs on the list. Stupid inverse system.

I guess the Top 100 Artists (at least #11 and down) match up perfectly with what was leaked earlier, which almost ensures the top 10 will be the same as well. How dumb is that for Billboard, and the leaks were pretty widespread across social media beyond this board right? And I assume larger media outlets will pick up on this so it should be pretty well-known even before this grand roll-out starts who will rank where. Unless they change the positions of each artist within the top 10?

To make it worse, chart data posted the enrire top 20 Billboard artists of the decade and that's the most famous chart account on Twitter which is followed by numerous musicians and publications.

Is there an artist this decade that has multiple #1’s without any of their songs peaking at number 2? Right now I’m only thinking Cardi B with 3 number 1’s and 0 number 2 peaks. Is there someone that ties her or exceeds her with 4 number 1’s and 0 number 2 peaks?
