All of the billboard articles are paywalled but according to her Wiki page it sold 116k units and 109k pure sales IF she had a bundle it was extremely minimal.

I think it's just the general trend for 2019. A lot of country albums have opened with numbers lower than expected (and lower than the artist's previous albums) which can probably be attributed to current streaming trends. For example, Thomas Rhett opened with 76k despite being a big star (his last album debuted with 123k). Miranda opened with 53k (last album 130k). Florida Georgia Line 50k (last album 145k). Brantley Gilbert 36k (last album 77k). George Strait 51k (last album 86k). Justin Moore 19k (last album 42k).

Sony Canada/Columbia star Celine Dion has scored her fifth #1 with Courage—her first album since ending her Las Vegas residency, and first English-language album in six years. The set debuted on our Top 50 Chart with 120k.

Tory Lanez’s Chixtape 5 (Mad Love/Interscope) was the second-biggest debut, arriving at #2 with 84k.

Other key new releases included Lady Antebellum’s Ocean (Big Machine/BMLG)—#11, 30k—Lil Peep’s EVERYBODY’S EVERYTHING (Columbia)—#13, 27k—and Walt Disney’s Frozen 2 soundtrack—#15, 26k.

Following the release of a vinyl edition, as well as a Shawn Mendes remix of her album’s title track, Taylor Swift’s Lover (Republic) returns to the Top 5, tacking on 60k.

Meanwhile, Pentatonix’s The Best of Pentatonix Christmas (RCA) zooms #28-18 with 19k as Ol’ Saint Nick approaches. Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas also sees a significant boost, as it busts back into the Top 30.

When it comes to marketshare, UMG leads with 56% and SME follows with 32%, while WMG claims 12% and the indies nab 1%.

Streeting this week are projects by Broken Bow’s Jason Aldean, Ten Thousand’s Trippie Redd, Parlophone/Atlantic’s Coldplay, Capitol’s Beck, RCA’s Davido and HAFE/Virgin EMI's Timi Dakolo, along with the final recordings of Leonard Cohen—out via Columbia/Legacy—and Decca’s Bing at Christmas, a new release of vintage Bing Crosby vocals and fresh recordings from the London Symphony Orchestra.

The latter is what we’ll be listening to while we festively hit a bong filled with eggnog. ‘Tis the season.

those are not same thing as those free album bundles.

shay- more often than not, HITS will mention, especially with a No. 1 album. I would think Billboard will mention it in the sales article- at least it should.

As for Unbreakable- yes, it had merchandise bundles aside from the album-redemption promo- which I don't recall if there indeed was an option, as the article mentioned, or if it was the standard redemption code (that promo wasn't in place when we attended the State of the World show). It's understood that the cost of the album is included in the overall ticket price.

And yeah, of course her second week drop will be big. Name one legacy act these days whose second week drop isn't steep? And even if the bundle did largely pad the opening it just proves she is still a huge touring force (as she has been for a long while now). Great all around!
