I love the song and Addie Pratt’s vocals at the end compliment Brad’s voice well. Is this being marketed to radio or is it just a promotional single?

No impact date so I’m guessing this won’t be given a full push. Not that it would’ve done much anyway since Brad’s success at radio is over. It is a radio single though as Sony Nashville sent it to the country format this morning.

Nice to hear new Brad Paisley music! There's just something about his style of country music that's really pleasant to my ears, and this one's no different. At first I thought it was kind of strange to have someone nearing 50 rattle off technology reference but then also he's the guy who brought us "Celebrity", "Alcohol", and "Online" so... Thematically this reminds me of "Welcome to the Future" - I really like when Brad does songs like those that other country artists don't really do, it's part of what makes him stand out to me.

I like this song and Brad a lot! I wish this could be a hit but radio seems completely done with him. It’s too bad.

Rooting for Brad :( I'll honestly be happy with just one more successful song, he atleast deserves that.

I doubt this does much after some curiosity spins. Brad's radio days are, much like Toby Keith, clearly over. The charts are so congested right now. He'd never survive in this climate. Maybe this crawls its way into the top 40, but that's all I can see it doing. He'll make enough money on single sales, as long as they don't invest a ton in promotion.

Appreciate Brad trying to be modern and different but man he is better than this. I still listen to who needs pictures and mud on the tires. Some of his Kung pow buckaroos tracks I enjoyed too.

I gave this one a listen the other day and I didn't really think too highly of it. It's not bad per se, but definitely one of his weakest singles in recent memory and the lyrics were pretty cringey in parts. He's over having hits, but I'd enjoy it if he at least just kept releasing great songs anyway without worrying about radio play... this one isn't something we needed from Brad Paisley at this point in his career. It's too bad radio has moved on from him, but it seems like the fans have too considering his music just doesn't sell anymore either. Wonder when he'll be able to get another album, because it seems like things are possibly headed in a more Gary Allan-type direction for him than a George Strait-type direction.

This is easily the worst single BP has ever released in his career. It hurts me to say this, but I think this song encapsulates every problem that there's been with Brad's music lately. First off the production tries to sound modern and to add some twists, but it just feels messed up and generic at best. It's not interesting in any way. We've seen this issue affecting a lot of Brad's songs in the last years, such as "The Mona Lisa", "Solar Power Girl" and a lot of tracks on the "Moonshine in the Trunk" record. On this one Brad also tried too hard to have a crazy arena sing along chorus, but he just doesn't deliver. It's vapid again, and only makes the song sound lifeless. I think we've seen him try too hard on choruses on songs like "The Mona Lisa", "Shattered Glass", "Crushing it", "One Beer Can", "Without a Fight", "Drive of Shame" and even "Bucked off". Not to say all these songs were bad, I just think the chorus was trying to be memorable but fell short. And finally, I think he's overrating his own songwriting. I mean, Brad is a killer songwriter and he has written some of the best songs in country music in my opinion. But a lot of his songs, even if they try to carry a good message, still seem unfocused and uninspired under a lyrical standpoint recently. I really wish Brad would go back to Frank Rogers as a producer. This new things he has been trying just do not work well for him. "Bucked off" did not have a memorable chorus but it was still a stronger single and a step in the right direction. "Today" and "Last Time for Everything" were excellent singles, and after hearing "My Miracle" I thought Brad was back to what made him great. But he managed to hit a new low with this song. "Alive Right Now" is something that will turn away real country fans and won't win any new fan. Can you imagine people who love Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young jamming to this song? Me neither. I feel bad to say this, but I hope this song doesn't even chart.
