Was really hoping for a song from his Keith Whitley EP to be chosen as a single..
Why not? Take a risk and stand out a little bit. There's dozens and dozens of other songs out there on radio right now explaining just how attentive and devoted the male singer is to their oh-so-extra-special-and-lovably-quirky girlfriend.. Be different.
Another mediocre addition to the Boyfriend Country subgenre. Which is rapidly becoming stale...

This seemed like the logical choice, so I'm not sure what took them so long to get this one out there after "Nothing to Do Town" fell off the charts. This song already has 7 million more streams than his last single and it hasn't even been released to radio yet. It's connected in a big way already so I could see this one doing better than "Town" did.

Well, I used to like this guy lol. But his music lately has been absolutely terrible. This song sounds like an Old Dominion reject.

Yikes. This is not good. The chorus is so plain and the snap track and beat drives me up the wall. I guess it makes sense for a single but I haven't cared for much Dylan has put out to radio.

No posts in almost 8 months!! LOL!
Anyways this becomes his fourth Top 30 hit moving up 1 to #30 on Mediabase gaining 44 spins. Unlike his last single I do think this song is at least a contender to make it all the way to #1.

Radio shouldn’t be allowing this to climb the charts, as Dylan is still a total nobody..

It has almost 40 million streams on Spotify, which is very impressive given the minimal sales and airplay thus far.

The fact this could hit #1 makes me wanna vomit. I think he says “nobody” 94 times in this awful excuse of a song. Meanwhile Margo Price can’t get a spin

Radio shouldn’t be allowing this to climb the charts, as Dylan is still a total nobody.. My guess is Curb's staff has coaxed programmers to convert it based off it being typical radio fodder. I'm not surprised given the fact every single of his has taken a year to peak but he literally has zero buzz. I ALWAYS forget about him and this single when I look at the chart lol: "oh look at that, it's top 30, well I'll be darned" lol. I don't think he's that popular with radio people either but he's able to get airplay to some degree based off giving programmers what they like to play. Safe and some tempo. I think Dylan has the voice and personality to be a bigger name but his label hurts him and his material is so forgettable. The combination makes him get lost in the shuffle. He's a poor man's Dustin Lynch, who seems to get #1 hits, yet his career doesn't advance.

Simple but effective music video. He's such a heartthrob too so I always look forward to seeing his videos for that alone, honestly.

This has to be one of the quietest top 15 singles at country radio (at least in the last couple years) that I can remember. "Nobody" isn't selling or streaming very well and I can't recall single article about Dylan or this single in any of the major country music publications over the last few months (although, I'm sure they're out there...maybe lol). I mean, it's going up at a fairly decent clip, so maybe top 5 or #1 is still in the cards but it's been promoted for a year, because naturally lol. Dylan's single isn't in the free Mediabase Callout section, likely due to being below the familiarity threshold, so that could mean this one has plenty of life left for a future #1 finish. I think this has been a quieter hit than "Good Time" by Niko Moon.

The distinction has to go to How They Remember You by Rascal Flatts. They just entered Hot 100 this week. Niko Moon has been top 40 there for a while.

This grew on me :/ I keep hearing it on the radio and thinking it is Old Dominion, lol. But eventually it started to become a pleasant listen for me. I don't *love* it by any means, but I have been enjoying it occasionally on the radio.

Gross that this got a fake #1 Mediabase. I’m predicting a drop to #25.

Gross that this got a fake #1 Mediabase. I’m predicting a drop to #25. I disagree it will fall that fast, it actually has really great callout scores (second highest Pop Score). Obviously it won't be like "Made For You", "Just The Way", "Lady" where it barely falls at all, but it's probably not gonna fall as fast as you are hoping for. Sorry for crushing your hopes of that.

At the end of the day at least this song streamed very solidly. Nearly 55M streams on Spotify alone, so I’m not too upset to see this at #1 on country radio. There have been far less impactful songs at the summit in recent years.
