How is BYG #11? Was airplay recalibrated? It barely improved week-on-week on Spotify.

Genre charts such as R&B and country have pretty much simply been the tracks' order on the Hot 100 and beyond, yes? With that in mind, why is "Roses" just debuting on the R&B/Hip Hop chart this week and why is it only ranked in the 40s? Thanks in advance. :)
As for "Before You Let Go," it would have been ranked close to the same position last week, though Taylor Swift's entries kept it down.

There's two different versions of the song being played at radio. The biggest one -- the dance remix on Pop. There's however the original version with a Future remix being played on Urban. The streams/sales/airplay from the non-dance versions are probably contributing to the ranking on R&B/Hip-Hop.

^That makes sense, though don't all versions' sale/airplay/streams contribute to its R&B/Hip Hop ranking?
I was never a fan of how Billboard restructured some genre charts to match the Hot 100. I mean, Dance/Electronic Songs is OK, as it also includes (included, now) Club Play, so it wasn't necessarily a copy-and-paste of dance tracks' Hot 100 rankings. Though the club-play portion may not have added much to the mix, so who knows if it's been any different in that regard, before the chart took a hiatus.

^Since the Imanbek is not the credited Roses version in the Hot 100 but the credited version one in Dance/Electronic Songs, that leaves the original version, which I don't think fits that genre and the Future remix, both which probably contributed to it charting in the R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart.

Though the club-play portion may not have added much to the mix, so who knows if it's been any different in that regard, before the chart took a hiatus. In regards to part 1, this has happened a bit in the past, usually because of multiple languaged versions. For example, CNCO had a song, Reggaeton Lento, that had a remix with Little Mix later on. However, because this new mix was now significantly more English (with CNCO re-recording their chorus to be mostly in English), it didn’t fit the criteria, so the song’s position on Bubbling Under was higher than its position on Hot Latin from that point onward. For the second part, when there were a lot of dance songs in the upper rungs (See: EDM boom of 2013-2017), there were some high profile cases of Club points flipping the margins in tight races. One that I recall from early 2017 had Something Just Like This ahead of Paris on the Hot 100 but behind it on Hot Dance because Paris was around its peak club performance at the time.

It does seem the rumored radio airplay numbers adjustment did occur and resulted in Blinding Lights being up 4% for the week. It actually didn't manage a bullet in the Radio Songs chart. Rockstar also managed a 4% weekly gain with a bullet, so either the adjustment actually occurred or they did an error for Blinding Lights on the chart.

Truly an impressive run!. I do wonder why the song completely crashed to the lower 20s when it left the top 10 though. I expected it would be around the 10-15 range for alot longer

Did Mr. $1900 show receipts? If not, what a clever and thirsty way to get attention. If I were going to do something like that, I'd make it a challenge with the artist. I'll buy $xxx, if you donate double that to x charity. Win-Win. Charts have always been manipulated and for a long time RIAA was also 'tricked' into certifications. Albums would 'ship platinum' only to have most of those copies returned to label, but the certification stood. I think the KISS solo albums were the most egregious example. Casablanca label were notorious for shady sales/B200 chart practices. The same was RSO was with H100. Those late-70s... If it was allowed to chart would No Doubt's "Don't Speak" fit the former couple hitting #1? The album's sales pretty much confirm it topped H100 combined with that massive airply. So will Cardigan have a solid hold or an imaginary one like ROM? I thought ROM was actually going to stick around, but radio dropped it hard and fast. Yeah, certifications are supposed to be based on shipments - returns, however I'd imagine many of those returns take place right after the first 4 weeks of an album's release, the minimum time labels must wait for a first certification. It's interesting that the minimum time requirement used to be 8 weeks up until the mid-90s, which doesn't make sense because the market has become much more front-loaded since then. I do think though that some certifications have been taken away due to strong evidence of fraud. Correct me if my memory is completely effed up, but I think I remember seeing somewhere that Madonna's True Blue used to be 8x Platinum and Mariah's Emotions 5x Platinum (both for the albums, not the singles), but that they were eventually bogged down to where they currently stand, 7x platinum and 4x platinum, respectively.

Confirmed:
8/12/2020 by Kevin Rutherford
Additionally, the rest of Collins’ solo material saw residual gains across the board.
A viral video featuring a pair of twins reacting to hearing Phil Collins’ 1981 top 20 Billboard Hot 100 hit “In the Air Tonight” spurs streaming and sales gains not just for the song itself – but also for tracks from Collins’ solo catalog as a whole.
From Aug. 7-9, Collins’ solo songs discography drew 11,000 digital downloads, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. That’s a 602% jump over the previous three days (Aug. 4-6), prior to the video going viral on Aug. 7.
“In the Air Tonight” in particular nabbed 6,000 downloads, up 1,516% from the previous three days. Its overall download count for the tracking week running Aug. 7-13 makes it a contender for the top 10 of Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart dated Aug. 22, which will be revealed Aug. 18.
The viral video in question was posted to the channel TwinsthenewTrend by 22-year-old twins Tim and Fred Williams. Posted July 27, the clip boasts 4.9 million global views on YouTube at press time.
Following “In the Air Tonight,” “Against All Odds (Take a Look At Me Now),” Collins’ three-week Hot 100 No. 1 in 1984, earned 1,000 downloads from Aug. 7-9, a gain of 422%.
Meanwhile, U.S. on-demand streams of Collins’ catalog were up 27% on Aug. 7-9 over Aug. 4-6, rising from 3 million to 3.8 million streams.
“In the Air Tonight” racked up 1.1 million of those streams from Aug. 7-9, up from 768,000 the previous three days, an overall boost of 46%.
