Sooo.. Hello! This is my first ever thread so I will still be trying out some stuff, but right now I guess I'll start revealing my top100 Artists! Each week I did a chart with my top50 artists of the year and I've now gathered the points from all weeks (a simple inverse-point system) and have the top100! GP's 2020 YEAR-END

SALES - 159 points
Boosted by a huge Tik-Tok hit for me, Chinese New Year, lingered for a long time on the 30s and 40s of the chart enough to make it into #100 Peak: #15 (7 weeks on the chart)

RAYE - 159 points
Natalie Don't was a big moment for me for a few days, plus RAYE's recent project was also a nice sound and vibe. Sadly, Natalie Don't grew boring for me quickly, so RAYE didn't do that well in terms of longevity in here. Peak: #11 (4 weeks on the chart)

A$AP Rocky - 159 points
Boosted by Sundress, a lowkey hit for me, Rocky had a good year, and seems like I will be discovering more from him in the future. Peak: #18 (6 weeks on the chart)

FKA Twigs - 160 points
Ego Death started as an unreleased jam from three artists that fitted so well, that naturally each stuck around long enough to make it to here. It then got released, so each got more longevity on the chart, FKA making into 10 weeks. Her next collab with Dua and Jorja will definitely make her a player to watch, since I plan on diving more into her discography. Peak: #19 (10 weeks on the chart)

Clean Bandit - 168 points
Like always, Clean Bandit can always count on me liking at least one of their songs per year. This year, it took me about 3 weeks but I finally gave in to their Mabel and 24k single. Catchy, kinda good, but forgettable. Like most of their music honestly Peak: #12 (6 weeks on the chart)

CHVRCHES - 169 points
Thanks to a rankdown in June (I think?), I got to discover this and boy didn't I like it. CHVRCHES is def on my discovery playlist for next year. This got almost to 10 weeks since I almost went deeper into their discography but found nothing to my liking yet. Peak: #14 (9 weeks on the chart)

B Fachada - 174 points
Not boosted by any actual 2020 song, this portuguese artist was a major discovery for me in 2019, and it HAD to carry over into 2020. I love him! Peak: #19 (16 weeks on the chart)

Justin Timberlake - 175 points
There's always some songs that you might just not find through chart-watching, but thru radio. This was one of those rare instances. Radio spammed this here, and thankfully so, since the Dua wave of disco pop found its way to Justin and SZA and boosted mr Spears to one of his best years in my charts. Peak: #16 (8 weeks on the chart)

Well, here's another Tik-Tok boosted act. I hate their main hit now, but boy did it hit in January Peak: #8 (8 weeks on the chart, 2 in top10)

DOPE LEMON - 181 points
Found a couple really lovely songs by them late into the summer and they have such a sunny vibe, that I hope I find them again come May and June to some more tunes! Peak: #15 (7 weeks on the chart)

Jacob Ogawa - 182 points
Another rankdown discovery, I had a big summer with Clairo, and this song was essential in that, and Jacob took whole two months to leave the chart. Peak: #15 (8 weeks on the chart)

blackbear - 184 points
First artist with multiple songs I liked this year, this one and hot girl bummer were both very happy summer songs, but as soon as September came in, any interest I had in these songs kinda left quickly, hence only 8 weeks. Peak: #16 (8 weeks on the chart)

Camila Cabello - 185 points
My leonagwen moment. My Oh My was absolutely smashing for the first couple weeks of January, DaBaby just perfectly knows how to insert himself into a popgirl song. That and a couple of Senorita leftover helped Caquita be very strong in the first few weeks, but after that she fizzled out very fast to be never seen again. Peak: #5 (8 weeks on the chart, 2 in the top10)

twenty one pilots - 186 points
21 Pilots were major superstars for me in 2016. multiple week #1 after multiple week #1.. then they kinda stopped making music I liked. Level Of Concern and Jumpsuit were slow returns to form, but still don't get them any higher than #87. That #5 peak does show the excitement of FINALLY hearing a 21P song I liked since forever. Peak: #5 (7 weeks on the chart, 1 in the top10)

Dumbo Gets Mad - 187 points
A random Youtube discovery turned into a lovely set of songs. This pshycadelic vibe is something I'm KEEN on giving it more space on my playlists. Plus, I heard them year-round, it's a shame they left so early, they shouldn't have! Peak: #5 (6 weeks on the chart, 1 in the top10)

Chela - 189 points
She had her cool feature on a Gus Dapperton song, which already made her chart, while her voice made me instantly go and look for more of her songs, like this one. She would still be charting if not for Christmas! Peak: #11 (7 weeks on the chart)

Lauv - 201 points
Lauv is that artist that charts high for like a week due to a song but then lingers for the rest of time of the 30s and 40s, I kept finding new songs I would hear 10 times and be done with them, but still, that made him #86 on the 2020 Artist YE! Peak: #12 (11 weeks on the chart)

Jason Derulo - 207 points
No one finds Savage Love more dated, aged than I do. But it can't be denied how catchy it was back in July and not only did I hear it everywhere, but got a bit addictive. Another summer fad. But hey, Jason Derulo hadn't been in my ears since Swalla so here's that! Peak: #13 (8 weeks on the chart)

Sean Paul - 208 points
I was riding on a huge high with Tove right after Sunshine Kitty and that high rode into early 2020, so this collab with Sean Paul made him go all the way into #82. That and No Lie also helped. Peak: #9 (7 weeks on the chart, 1 in the top10)

Bebe Rexha - 210 points
the last reveal of the day, Bebe Rexha! Bebe returned after her 2018 slayage with this awful song. I'm a huge Doja stan but this isnt her best verse either. This is awful! Yet I have heard it 100+ times. hence Bebe being #81 with one 2020 song. Catchiness gets me every time. the first artist to spend 3 or more weeks in the top10 so far. Peak: #6 (8 weeks on the chart, 3 in the top10)

Internet Money - 215 points
Internet Money's run will definitely be cut between the years, but it was still enough to make it to #80 in 2020. Boosted by a smash in Lemonade, I feel like this will be a one-hit wonder for me. But we'll see. Peak: #10 (6 weeks on the chart, 1 in the top10) - still charting at #10

Selena Gomez - 221 points
With Rare coming out early in the year, Selena spent the first 9 weeks of the year on the chart. Rare the album was a non-event and so was Selena after February. Anyhoo... Peak: #5 (9 weeks on the chart, 1 in the top10)

Angèle - 225 points
Obviously, I uncovered Angèle as the rest of the world outside of France and Belgium did, with Dula Peepa and oh boy didn't I like her calm french vibe. She's definitely coming for more! Peak: #7 (8 weeks on the chart, 1 in the top10) - still charting at #47

Rex Orange County - 232 points
well damn, I thought Rex would have more points, but I guess my Rex stanning was very condensed in the same weeks, where I liked many of his songs at the same time. So probably why he had a good peak inside the top10 but after 2 months he fled the chart. Peak: #6 (9 weeks on the chart, 2 in the top10)

BRCKHMPTN - 233 points
Another artist you could say boosted by miss Dua Lipa, but I in fact already liked Sugar before her remix, but they very possibly would have left the charts way earlier than 10 weeks if not for miss Peep. Another of many artists helped by superstar Lipa. Peak: #11 (10 weeks on the chart)

Cage The Elephant - 244 points
Cage had no 2020 hits, but this was rather another case of them having some late 2019 hits that carried their buzz till 2020, enough for them to hover around the lower positions-mp3 for 15+ weeks! Love them tho, haven't heard them in a while. Peak: #21 (15 weeks on the chart)
