1982 & 1983 Laura Branigan - Gloria (#75 --> #56) It was very rare for any song to repeat twice in the year end way back in the 80s. So the Milli Vannili , B-52, Christopher Cross and lastly Laura Brannigan singles must have been really big hits to repeat. With the advent of 90s and especially after Soundscan, it became pretty common

Yeah, it was very rare for this to happen, Gloria was huge.

Unholy (#98 --> #11) You Proof (#27 --> #12) Something in the Orange (#39 --> #13) As It Was (#2 --> #15) Rock and a Hard Place (#70 --> #16) Sure Thing (#92 --> #24) Bad Habit (#28 --> #38) All I Want for Christmas is You (#65 --> #55) Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree (#80 --> #60) Jingle Bell Rock (#86 --> #68) A Holly Jolly Christmas (#89 --> #71) I Like You (A Happier Song) (#26 --> #75) Super Freaky Girl (#56 --> #79) WAIT FOR U (#11 --> #83)
The cumulative Year-End tally list which is updated, with "Unholy" though avoiding a rare instance of a re-entry from the Bottom 10 to the Top 10, gave #11 its first re-entry placement. The record for most re-entry placement solely remains at #46, as "A Holly Jolly Christmas" placing at #72 avoided a possible tie from #71 that currently has 7 re-entry placements.
EDIT: I accidentally swapped the places for "A Holly Jolly Christmas" and "WHERE SHE GOES" when I was typing it. "A Holly Jolly Christmas" is indeed #71, which makes 8 re-entry placements for #71, tying #46 for the most.

Randomly decided to dig deep into the 1990s and 2000s Year-End in pursuit to any Year-End Re-Entries I missed, and those songs are now added to the cumulative catalog list of YE Re-Entries!
