boygenius - "Not Strong Enough" (Gonza'90, #1) vs Kidsnot$aints. - "Love, Always" (wrip, #6) - Love Always is a solid discovery but I've been really enjoying the boygeniys songs a lot so far this year.
Röyksopp f/ Alison Goldfrapp - "Impossible" (aerodynamite, #1) vs Paramore - "The News" (Leo, #6) - I've been meaning to hear Impossible and ut definitely did not disappoint but The News is my favorite Paramore song since like Brand New Eyes era so this one is a no Brainerd for me.
Jax - "Cinderella Snapped" (Keatonzab, #1) vs Greg Puciato f/ Reba Meyers - "Lowered" (wheatsquares33, #6) - So I don't hate Cinderella Snapped, if I tune out the God awful writing and the semi grating nature of Jax's vocals its another mindless pop rock song but man she really is not giving anyone a reason to not believe she us an industry plant. Lowered was solid so it kinda by default wins this one.
SZA - "Kill Bill" (rnb, #1) vs Echosmith - "Cool Kids (our version)" (Keatonzab, #6) - I loved Cool Kids back in the day when I was in middle school, nowadays I don't mind it but its not something in my library. This new version is solid and a bit better but still is fundamentally the same song at its core. I'm a die hard SZA stan so this is no contest.
Meet Me @ The Altar - "Thx 4 Nothin'" (jtd, #1) vs Sudan Archives - "Freakalizer" (willapted33, #6) - Damn I hate that these are paired against one another, Thx 4 Nothin is a great discovery but Freakalizer is so good. Natural Brown Prom Queen is such a stellar album and Sudan Archive is now an R&B girlie to watch.
Tennis - "Forbidden Doors" (Lordeftones, #1) vs Tate McRae - "Go Away" (M5, #6) - I still need to hear the new Tennis album but Forbidden Doors is nice, go away is alright but its just a mindless teen pop song that I won't remember in less than a week from now.
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit - "Death Wish" (Ethanhunt, #1) vs John Summit & Hayla - "Where You Are" (trilogy, #6) - I'm not strong on either of these but Where You Are is more my vibe.

boygenius - "Not Strong Enough" (Gonza'90, #1) vs Kidsnot$aints. - "Love, Always" (wrip, #6) these were both really good, but love always does more for me. plus it makes for a good underdog vote!!
Röyksopp f/ Alison Goldfrapp - "Impossible" (aerodynamite, #1) vs Paramore - "The News" (Leo, #6) this matchup hurts soooo much. impossible is easily my favorite discovery of the tournmanet thus far but also the news is one of my favorite songs of 2022. had to decide this one with a coin flip and it landed on heads.
Jax - "Cinderella Snapped" (Keatonzab, #1) vs Greg Puciato f/ Reba Meyers - "Lowered" (wheatsquares33, #6) gatekeep, gaslight, greg puciato has the better song here by a landslide.
SZA - "Kill Bill" (rnb, #1) vs Echosmith - "Cool Kids (our version)" (Keatonzab, #6) another freakishly easy matchup. i never liked the original cool kids and i don't really see a purpose behind this remake of it. its not like wegmans is gonna start playing another song of theirs.
Meet Me @ The Altar - "Thx 4 Nothin'" (jtd, #1) vs Sudan Archives - "Freakalizer" (willapted33, #6) i listened to freakalizer during last stand and thought it was pretty good and while thx 4 nothin isn't bad, it just sounds like the insisde of a hot topic to me.
Tennis - "Forbidden Doors" (Lordeftones, #1) vs Tate McRae - "Go Away" (M5, #6) tennis really put their entire tennussy into this one
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit - "Death Wish" (Ethanhunt, #1) vs John Summit & Hayla - "Where You Are" (trilogy, #6) these are both really good but i think death wish kinda does more for me personally.

boygenius - "Not Strong Enough" (Gonza'90, #1) (light to decent 7) vs Kidsnot$aints. - "Love, Always" (wrip, #6) (decent to strong 6) These are both fine. I like Not Strong Enough alright, I'm not a diehard enough fan for any of the individual artists in Boygenius to see it as anything more than like...a fine indie pop song though. Love Always was cute, has some cool synths and a decent energy, but this brand of kinda hypnagogic bedroom pop isn't usually my thing. Still a solid track though.
Röyksopp f/ Alison Goldfrapp - "Impossible" (aerodynamite, #1) (decent to strong 7) vs Paramore - "The News" (Leo, #6) (decent to strong 8) I don't like this matchup very much. Impossible is a really cool discovery, I love the dark, bass heavy instrumental. But like...The News is my favorite Paramore song in a long time and one of the best tracks on This Is Why, it's tough competition.
Jax - "Cinderella Snapped" (Keatonzab, #1) (strong 2 to light 3) vs Greg Puciato f/ Reba Meyers - "Lowered" (wheatsquares33, #6) (decent to strong 8) Well uh at least my first song isn't against anything I feel regret voting against. I will say, at least Cinderella Snapped has a kinda catchy chorus. If it were less uh insipid and sounded less like a Jax song I'd almost kinda like it, I think.
SZA - "Kill Bill" (rnb, #1) (light to decent 7) vs Echosmith - "Cool Kids (our version)" (Keatonzab, #6) (decent to strong 5) I generally like SZA, haven't really gone hog for anything from her new album, but it's all been like, good, fine. Cool Kids has always been like, alright but uh I don't think that "their version" is any better than the original. Also, listening to this song reminds me of 2014. I never want to remember 2014.
Meet Me @ The Altar - "Thx 4 Nothin'" (jtd, #1) (light to decent 7) vs Sudan Archives - "Freakalizer" (willapted33, #6) (strong 7 to light 8) Need to listen to both of these albums. I was really into MM@TA when they were first breaking through in 2019-2020 (think I submitted Tyranny in a past Madness). I think it's been...slightly downhill for them since then. They were ahead of the curve for pop punk revival, but I feel like their recent stuff is a bit more on brand for that scene. Still, there's a lot more originality and virtuosity in their music, so I do have their debut LP on my plan to listen. Love Home Maker, so I should definitely listen to Natural Brown Prom Queen, this track is a really cool first listen too. These are both good discoveries, but I like Freakalizer a bit more.
Tennis - "Forbidden Doors" (Lordeftones, #1) (decent to strong 7) vs Tate McRae - "Go Away" (M5, #6) (strong 3 to light 4) New Tennis album is pretty good, think Forbidden Doors is probably my favorite from it as well. Tate McRae is from Calgary, that's cool! I'll leave it there.
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit - "Death Wish" (Ethanhunt, #1) (decent to strong 7) vs John Summit & Hayla - "Where You Are" (trilogy, #6) (strong 6 to light 7) Idk why I've put off listening the new Jason Isbell single as long as I have (especially when Be Afraid was in my to 10 songs of the year for 2020), this is really good! Could see myself really loving it with a couple more listens. The vocal mix sounds a little weird though? Think I could get used to it though. Where You Are is giving radio house from a decade ago, but like. Good radio house from a decade ago, these vocals are damn good. Pretty slick little EDM song, but I do like Death Wish more unfortunately.
Best discoveries: Freakalizer, Death Wish, Impossible, Thx 4 Nothin', Where You Are

boygenius - "Not Strong Enough" (Gonza'90, #1) vs Kidsnot$aints. - "Love, Always" (wrip, #6)
Röyksopp f/ Alison Goldfrapp - "Impossible" (aerodynamite, #1) vs Paramore - "The News" (Leo, #6) What in the world is this match-up, uh??
Jax - "Cinderella Snapped" (Keatonzab, #1) vs Greg Puciato f/ Reba Meyers - "Lowered" (wheatsquares33, #6) This is actually the least evil Jax song I've ever heard. Still not a competitor against "Lowered"
SZA - "Kill Bill" (rnb, #1) vs Echosmith - "Cool Kids (our version)" (Keatonzab, #6) "Cool Kids" is a good song at least to me, but I feel like this "new" version doesn't add anything to it.
Meet Me @ The Altar - "Thx 4 Nothin'" (jtd, #1) vs Sudan Archives - "Freakalizer" (willapted33, #6) "Thx 4 Nothin'" is fine but something is bothering me with the vocals. "Freakalizer" bops, solid discovery.
Tennis - "Forbidden Doors" (Lordeftones, #1) vs Tate McRae - "Go Away" (M5, #6) I don't care for any of those, but I'm voting for Tennis since I think at least had a little more impression.
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit - "Death Wish" (Ethanhunt, #1) vs John Summit & Hayla - "Where You Are" (trilogy, #6) I don't think I've ever liked a song by Jason Isbell and don't think it's changing anytime soon.

This round reinforces what I hate most about the March Madness setup.
boygenius - "Not Strong Enough" (Gonza'90, #1) vs Kidsnot$aints. - "Love, Always" (wrip, #6)
Both are great, but gonna give it to the underdog. Boygenius never really added up to the sum of its parts to me, though that's more of a testament to the quality of their respective solo material. I do like Kidsnot$aints though and fondly remember their song 'Company' from a few Madnessi ago. The bassline on this is great.
Röyksopp f/ Alison Goldfrapp - "Impossible" (aerodynamite, #1) vs Paramore - "The News" (Leo, #6)
This one hurts. Gonna give it to the underdog cause I know The News is gonna win but Impossible was such a banger, it definitely deserves. Love both of these.
Jax - "Cinderella Snapped" (Keatonzab, #1) vs Greg Puciato f/ Reba Meyers - "Lowered" (wheatsquares33, #6)
Okay, Cinderella Snapped was f**king bonkers. The chorus may have been obnoxiously generic but once it hit the second verse this song became hilarious. Love the wacky lines about the disney princesses and the bridge where she randomly turns into Rap God. Can't hate on this one. Of course, Greg Puciato clears by about a million though.
SZA - "Kill Bill" (rnb, #1) vs Echosmith - "Cool Kids (our version)" (Keatonzab, #6)
Genuine question: Is Keaton just now discovering Cool Kids? I don't think a re-release of a 2014 song should be in a 2023 Madness, but I'm not hosting. Regardless, it's against my stolen pick Kill Bill so it's an easy choice for me. For what it's worth, I do like the original Cool Kids.
Meet Me @ The Altar - "Thx 4 Nothin'" (jtd, #1) vs Sudan Archives - "Freakalizer" (willapted33, #6)
This could go either way but I felt Freakalizer was a bit more interesting.
Tennis - "Forbidden Doors" (Lordeftones, #1) vs Tate McRae - "Go Away" (M5, #6)
Tate McRae wasn't too bad, probably better than other songs I've heard from her. Tennis on the other hand has been my most played artist so far this year, new album is a banger.
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit - "Death Wish" (Ethanhunt, #1) vs John Summit & Hayla - "Where You Are" (trilogy, #6)
These songs couldn't be any more different. They're both great, but I'm going to give it to Where You Are, I was feeling the uptempo vibe.
1. Kill Bill 2. Forbidden Doors 3. Impossible (Highest Disc.) 4. The News 5. Lowered 6. Love, Always 7. Where You Are 8. Not Strong Enough 9. Death Wish 10. Cool Kids 11. Freakalizer 12. Go Away 13. Thx 4 Nothin 14. Cinderella Snapped

boygenius - "Not Strong Enough" (Gonza'90, #1) vs Kidsnot$aints. - "Love, Always" (wrip, #6)
Röyksopp f/ Alison Goldfrapp - "Impossible" (aerodynamite, #1) vs Paramore - "The News" (Leo, #6) - This is not Paremore's best, but still far stronger than Impossible.
Jax - "Cinderella Snapped" (Keatonzab, #1) vs Greg Puciato f/ Reba Meyers - "Lowered" (wheatsquares33, #6) - Jax is great, not as great as Victoria's Secret, but this one is also really good. Lowered is overproduced, it is kinda noisy, while the song itself is not too bad, but not comparable to Jax.
SZA - "Kill Bill" (rnb, #1) vs Echosmith - "Cool Kids (our version)" (Keatonzab, #6) - SZA's song was decent, definitely on the better side compared with her other outputs. I used to really like Cool Kids, and even though this version is not as good as the original, it is still nice.
Meet Me @ The Altar - "Thx 4 Nothin'" (jtd, #1) vs Sudan Archives - "Freakalizer" (willapted33, #6) - Thx 4 Nothin has a great production and melody. Never heard of this artist, but pretty good first impression. "Freakalizer" was alright, not something I would revisit.
Tennis - "Forbidden Doors" (Lordeftones, #1) vs Tate McRae - "Go Away" (M5, #6) - This was a close game, Tennis's song could have a stronger melody, but the production was pleasant. Tate's song has a stronger chorus melody, and I quite like her vocal on this tune, sounds pretty strong but also vulnerable enough to convey effectively deliver the lyrics.
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit - "Death Wish" (Ethanhunt, #1) vs John Summit & Hayla - "Where You Are" (trilogy, #6) - Didn't like or dislike either. I think Jason Isbell gave me a stronger impression.

boygenius - "Not Strong Enough" (Gonza'90, #1) vs Kidsnot$aints. - "Love, Always" (wrip, #6)
This is actually the first boygenius song released this year I've heard (and soon I will be able to say I listened to every song from this EP lol). "Not Strong Enough" is really nice. Everyone just sounds really good and I quite enjoy this instrumentation. I also really love the bridge. I think that's a signal to check out the album coming out next week. "Love, Always" is another really enjoyable song. It's very lush and summery. Too bad it's so short. I see myself returning to both songs, but boygenius has got my vote.
Röyksopp f/ Alison Goldfrapp - "Impossible" (aerodynamite, #1) vs Paramore - "The News" (Leo, #6)
"Impossible" starts and immediately I am hooked. Holy s**t, production. I really enjoyed Röyksopp and Astrid S's collab from Summertime Madness, but this is honestly a step above that. I need to check out more from Goldfrapp; especially their older work. Honestly my favorite discovery from March Madness already. "The News" is another great punchy song Paramore released last year that has only gotten better with more and more listens. God, this is so hard, but my vote goes to "Impossible" for being such an awesome discovery.
Jax - "Cinderella Snapped" (Keatonzab, #1) vs Greg Puciato f/ Reba Meyers - "Lowered" (wheatsquares33, #6)
I've... heard discourse surrounding "Cinderella Snapped". It's definitely not good, but I've honestly heard worse from Jax. But she has yet to release a good song. The lyrics are totally whack and that bridge especially just sounds weird. Thankfully, "Lowered" gets my easy vote here. I don't have too much to say but it's definitely a pleasant listen and a huge step in quality above its competitor.
SZA - "Kill Bill" (rnb, #1) vs Echosmith - "Cool Kids (our version)" (Keatonzab, #6)
"Kill Bill" initially wasn't my favorite from 'SOS' but then it coincidentally really grew on me after it became a single. Imagine that. Not only does this song have a super catchy hook, the satirical lyrics about SZA killing her ex are great. It's so damn dramatic too like "Rather be in jail than alone" lmfao. Such a fun listen. When I was 13, I liked "Cool Kids" when it was becoming a hit. Over time, I've become lukewarm to it. I guess it's cool they added a new bridge though. Easy SZA vote for me.
Meet Me @ The Altar - "Thx 4 Nothin'" (jtd, #1) vs Sudan Archives - "Freakalizer" (willapted33, #6)
"Thnx 4 Nothin'" is a fine song. Definitely reminiscent of early 2000s pop punk. Not much else to add there. It just pales in comparison to "Freakalizer", one of my favorite songs from 'Natural Brown Prom Queen'. I also feel inclined to vote for this song since it was one of the songs that ultimately helped me win the latest season of Last Stand. It's just so breezy and cool, plus that hook has not left my head. Easy Sudan Archives vote.
Tennis - "Forbidden Doors" (Lordeftones, #1) vs Tate McRae - "Go Away" (M5, #6)
I haven't heard anything from Tennis aside from "Need Your Love" and "Runner" before listening to this. This is nice, but I wish I liked it more than I actually do. "Go Away" is pretty decent too. Definitely better than what I've heard from Tate McRae's discography. I'm giving my vote to "Forbidden Doors" though, since I see myself possibly loving it down the road.
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit - "Death Wish" (Ethanhunt, #1) vs John Summit & Hayla - "Where You Are" (trilogy, #6)
"Death Wish" is honestly pretty good and has a pretty dark mood to it. Although I haven't dipped my toes into the genre much, I think I'd find myself liking a lot more alt-country compared to mainstream country. "Where You Are" is pretty good too and a fun listen. I knew I recognized Hayla's voice (she was in the last Summertime Madness with "Escape"), and I consider this a step above that. Ultimately, my vote goes to "Where You Are".

boygenius - "Not Strong Enough" (Gonza'90, #1) [3.6/5] vs Kidsnot$aints. - "Love, Always" (wrip, #6) [3.7/5]
- I haven't heard much from boygenius – but I have heard each individually quite a bit. I'll be honest, I think individually, all three tend to be a little overrated, but I do like this one quite a bit. Not my favorites from Phoebe and Lucy (I don't know as much from Julien), but this definitely is a solid offering from the three. "Love, Always" was really good. This kind of alternative R&B hits a nice sweet spot for me, and this was no different. Going to vote for "Love, Always" here.
Röyksopp f/ Alison Goldfrapp - "Impossible" (aerodynamite, #1) [3.7/5] vs Paramore - "The News" (Leo, #6) [3.9/5]
- "Impossible" was pretty solid. This kind of electronic music and vocal is the perfect combo for me. This is a brutal matchup because this is up against my favorite Paramore song in quite awhile (maybe ever...?). "The News" oozes of early Bloc Party whom I adore, and I love the vibe Paramore went for on this album. I'm voting for "The News", but "Impossible" gave this a really good run for its money.
Jax - "Cinderella Snapped" (Keatonzab, #1) [1.3/5] vs Greg Puciato f/ Reba Meyers - "Lowered" (wheatsquares33, #6) [3.3/5]
- I don't hate the sound of this, I guess? Lyrically, this is terrible. I didn't think the first verse or the majority of the chorus were particularly bad, but the hook is really jarring. The "kids that's how I Cinderella snapped" hook does NOT sound natural or anything. Sounds like she came up with that line and decided to paste it on the end of the chorus no matter how the last lines before it finished. Second verse and bridge are garbage. "Lowered" was solid. I think Reba brings the song down here, but I like Greg a lot and the music to this. Easy vote here.
SZA - "Kill Bill" (rnb, #1) [3.7/5] vs Echosmith - "Cool Kids (our version)" (Keatonzab, #6) [2.2/5]
- I still haven't gotten around to listening to SOS, but I normally like everything I hear from SZA quite a lot, and "Kill Bill" is no different. This is probably the best song I've heard from the album so far out of like the six or so songs I've heard. Really great offering from her. I hated the original "Cool Kids", but I guess this is better? I still don't particularly like it, but I guess it's a little better.
Meet Me @ The Altar - "Thx 4 Nothin'" (jtd, #1) [2.6/5] vs Sudan Archives - "Freakalizer" (willapted33, #6) [3.1/5]
- "Thx 4 Nothin'" wasn't terrible or anything, but it was super generic. I wouldn't change it if it came out, but I don't think I'd ever go out of my way to listen to this. "Freakalizer" isn't overly impressive, but it's a bit of a head bopper and made more of a mark on me. I wasn't in love with it on first listen, but it does sound like something that could grow on me over time.
Tennis - "Forbidden Doors" (Lordeftones, #1) [4.2/5] vs Tate McRae - "Go Away" (M5, #6) [3.2/5]
- Pollen is my favorite album of the year so far. I thought I preferred "Let's Make a Mistake Tonight" of the singles, but this song just keeps growing and growing on me. Tennis never misses, and this is absolutely no different. It's gonna be hard for me to vote against Tennis in like any of these matchups – even against my own songs, lol. I think I like Tate McRae more than others here. I like her vocals, but I do think the music she makes can lean more on the uninteresting side more often than not. I like this one though. I like the chorus on this a lot. I could be pressed to vote for this in other matchups, but definitely not in this one unfortunately.
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit - "Death Wish" (Ethanhunt, #1) [2.9/5] vs John Summit & Hayla - "Where You Are" (trilogy, #6) [3.4/5]
- When I heard "Deathwish" when it came out, I left disappointed. I was hoping the second listen here would make me feel better, and it doesn't. I just feel like the song has nothing to it and just doesn't go anywhere. "Where You Are" was pretty solid. It's not anything I haven't heard before, but it's still a good track.

boygenius - "Not Strong Enough" (Gonza'90, #1) (8.7) vs Kidsnot$aints. - "Love, Always" (wrip, #6) (7.2) "not strong enough" is grate ! love the melodies and guitars. i need to give the boygenius record a full spin. "love, always" is fun, definitely a solid discovery.
Röyksopp f/ Alison Goldfrapp - "Impossible" (aerodynamite, #1) (8.5) vs Paramore - "The News" (Leo, #6) (8.4) these are both grate too but i see myself gravitating more towards royksopp/goldfrapp in the future, great pick aero! "the news" slaps too, wish i could vote for both.
Jax - "Cinderella Snapped" (Keatonzab, #1) (3.3) vs Greg Puciato f/ Reba Meyers - "Lowered" (wheatsquares33, #6) (7.0) nothing can be certain but death, taxes, and keatonzab sending jax songs for madnesses. i thought we left girlboss empowerment songs in 2014? the whole thing is just very...unpleasantly loud sonically, and feels like kind of a dated message now. "lowered" wins by default essentially haha, not really my thing but it's solid
SZA - "Kill Bill" (rnb, #1) (8.5) vs Echosmith - "Cool Kids (our version)" (Keatonzab, #6) (4.6) echosmith - cool kids (sydney's version) (from the vault) (ten minute version). i do not like the original "cool kids", i've always found it very fake-deep lyrically. this is sonically a step up from the original, but it still has the awful lyrics so there's only so much I can do
Meet Me @ The Altar - "Thx 4 Nothin'" (jtd, #1) (7.3) vs Sudan Archives - "Freakalizer" (willapted33, #6) (8.8) "thx 4 nothin'" is solid pop-punk, good hook, but i have to vote for my extra. love the atlanta bass influence on "freakalizer". sudan archives is such a cool artist!
Tennis - "Forbidden Doors" (Lordeftones, #1) (8.2) vs Tate McRae - "Go Away" (M5, #6) (5.6) "forbidden doors" was a great discovery, whereas i found "go away" pretty uninteresting save for an admittedly solid chorus melody. sorry m5
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit - "Death Wish" (Ethanhunt, #1) (8.2) vs John Summit & Hayla - "Where You Are" (trilogy, #6) (7.9) really solid song from jason isbell! probably my favorite country song so far in this tournament. "escape" featuring hayla (by kaskade & deadmau5) was a big hit on my personal chart, so i was curious going into "where you are" - this is also really nice! good stuff. i think i'm gonna go with "death wish" but like them both.

Sucks that one of most enjoyable songs in this set has to go up against "Death Wish". Probably would take it against most of the other songs save the boygenius probably

boygenius - "Not Strong Enough" (Gonza'90, #1) vs Kidsnot$aints. - "Love, Always" (wrip, #6) This matchup sucks, both of these are really good. I think I'll give a vote to the underdog but either advancing is fine with me
Röyksopp f/ Alison Goldfrapp - "Impossible" (aerodynamite, #1) vs Paramore - "The News" (Leo, #6) Both were cool, I think "The News" is probably my favourite Paramore song since their post-punk pivot but "Impossible" is also really cool. Giving the slight edge to Paramore here since I'll probably end up going back to it a bit more.
Jax - "Cinderella Snapped" (Keatonzab, #1) vs Greg Puciato f/ Reba Meyers - "Lowered" (wheatsquares33, #6) Cinderella Snapped isn't completely atrocious, but I'm very clearly not the target audience for a song like that. "Lowered" clears pretty comfortably here
SZA - "Kill Bill" (rnb, #1) vs Echosmith - "Cool Kids (our version)" (Keatonzab, #6) "Kill Bill" is on track to becoming my favourite hit of the year by a super wide margin. Cool Kids (Taylor's Version) sounds pretty cool, a bit better than the original, but this isn't particularly close
Meet Me @ The Altar - "Thx 4 Nothin'" (jtd, #1) vs Sudan Archives - "Freakalizer" (willapted33, #6) I don't think I've liked anything MM@TA has done as much as "Tyranny", but "Thx 4 Nothin" was still pretty cool. "Freakalizer" is really chill, I think I like it slightly more but I wouldn't be mad if this goes either way
Tennis - "Forbidden Doors" (Lordeftones, #1) vs Tate McRae - "Go Away" (M5, #6) Tennis do not miss, "Forbidden Doors" is another banger from them. I actually like the composition and writing of "Go Away" quite a bit, I just don't think Tate McRae is the best performer. If it had a better singer I'd probably vote for it
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit - "Death Wish" (Ethanhunt, #1) vs John Summit & Hayla - "Where You Are" (trilogy, #6) I'm a big Jason Isbell fan but it sounds like he's oversinging a little on this one, it's still alright but not his best. "Where You Are" is comfortably my favourite discovery of the set, this is a pretty easy one for me
