MJ and Paul McCartney collabs should have a better track record than this. I feel like they have enough combined talent that at least ONE of them should have been great.

Welcome back! The song leaving us now will see two people lose their #2. Ten people will get a perfect ranking.

Love the title track. I know there's an obvious top 2 here but I really do love this song and was hoping it could maybe do better than expected.

I guess it was always gonna be this top two but there are some immaculate deep cuts on this record and I wish they stood a chance against (*song I put lower*)
Still, can't go wrong with this album! If the winner isn't the rightest choice, it's still a right choice.

Oh what a surprise, the two songs that have a disproportionately higher play count than the rest of the album end up as the top 2.
I will comment on the other song reveals later.

So I was right that my top 3 is actual top 3. Kinda obvious.
I started to appreciate this album and Thriller very recently.
Thanks for hosting! Looking forward to other MJ albums.

This was short and fun! Love that! Happy my #1 took it! Also, I can't imagine Karen Carpenter singing ANY of the songs that were rejected by her, so it makes sense she rejected them, LOL.

5. Get On The Floor: Ooh okay, yayy this is my #7 so at least the songs in my Top 5 made it to the Top 4 (sans my #3). This is really good and very fun but it's not one of my biggest favorites from this album so I'm pleased with this showing up now. 4. Off The Wall: Oooh nicee, my lowest remaining rank shows up now, as this was my #5. Love this song and it's really fun but I just happen to prefer others. And now we got a truly fantastic Top 3. 3. Workin' Day And Night: Great and fun song here! I love this and love it enough to give it my #4 ranking. I was hoping this would show up next so that I could get my perfect and ideal Top 2, so yayy! 2. Rock With You: Yesss, so happy I get a perfect rank with this as this is my #2. Iconic, classic song that I really love and very pleased with this ranking for this! 1. Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough: Yesss, so happy and very pleased this song was able to get #1! Again, this is truly an iconic, classic, fun jam that I absolutely love and adore sooo much. It's such a great and infectious song. It goes without saying that this song truly stands the test of time amongst Michael's discography. Woww 15 #1s for this song is truly impressive! :o Happy that there aren't any ranks lower than #6 for this too. OMGG whoaa at singingrulebritannia getting a perfect Top 8! That is insane and truly iconic, lmao. I got 3 perfect ranks? I will take that! Thank you for hosting this game, Soulsista! It was a lot of fun to follow as always!

I'm a bit late but I did have more thoughts on these songs. #10: funny to see the song that Paul McCartney was involved in to place last, similar to TGIM on Thriller #9: this is better than TGIM but otherwise it's easily the weakest track since Adult Contemporary makes it undanceable and less fun than the other tracks #8 & #7: memorable final two tracks on the album but not among the best #6: a bit underrated, I love the melodies and how jazzy it is #5 & #3: these have really danceable and funky danceable beats #4: Once again I rank the title track as my #1 and it doesn't win. I think it has the best vocals on the album and makes a great vaporwave track. #2: So I'm the only one to not rank it in the top 5. Yes, it's a pleasant track but it is really among MJ's best? Maybe I've heard this one too many times. #1: I have heard Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough several times before and it has a repetitive and unforgettable chorus. Even though I ranked it at 4, it has my favorite moment on the album which is the instrumental interlude at 2:40. I wish it was expanded on or was repeated at the end of the song.
