It would be nice if he had at least a Top 10 radio hit to head into the tour, but I'm still excited to see him.

I think this is a cute song but man it's really not memorable at all, it goes in one ear and out the other. Which means it's great radio filler.

This reminds me of the run "Eyes Closed" had, where the streaming sucks but the sales were decent (#10 US iTunes)

Not gonna lie, I actually really like this now. At first, I thought it was just okay and cute but it clicked.

I think it definitely deserves to go Top 10. Such a pretty song.

He's about to sell like 150k first week Thatās optimistic. But he might pull a reverse Uno card. What he lacks in streaming, he could make up for in sales. It looks like he has a lot of vinyl variants and theyāre all selling quite well. Iām sure he will debut at #1 with the date he chose, unless Iām unaware of some other big release.

I... have no idea how high his album can open. Legacy acts pull weirdly big pure numbers sometimes.

He did over 350k with a flop single last go round. This one isn't big but it's definitely fairing better than Filthy despite gen z being too stupid to listen to him because of forced narratives from gay people

He did have the Super Bowl, but that is incredibly high. I thought it was projected to do that, but then it got lower and pulled a respectable 250k or something. I donāt think he needs a hit to open well, he needs a hit to sustain longevity. As a legacy act now, the first week is really just whatever. Itās about the tour, and that seems to be sold out. Iām not a big JT fan, but heās in a position where heās going to put butts in arenas globally with or without a hit album or out of the box smash single.

I havenāt been very in tune with her commercial success since Golden Hour (great album, btw), so I canāt speak to how competitive sheāll be. Is she a strong streaming force? I know sheās another one releasing a bunch of vinyl variants. Vinyl is the new enhancement because fans *will* collect them all, lol.

I'm honestly not sure myself but I do know her album is highly anticipated. I've seen plenty of hype on my socials for both (granted, I am a GenX-er who still has friends from the boyband days, so that may be a little skewed), so I think both albums will do well for today's market, I just might give Kacey the edge. Justin's tour sold incredibly well, though (US *and* abroad) so there is obviously some demand. I'll be purchasing both!

Still proves my point though. Yeah he'll do 100-150k then have a solid tour and make bank anyway but you would think after his last album underperforming he would try to gun for a big hit

Thatās the beauty of where heās at now. He just needs music good enough to keep long term fans coming to see him tour. Thatās where heās going to make his money anyways. Of course he should strive for a big hit or a big album, but his core fan base that has followed him for 30 years will see him regardless.

I donāt think it will reach the top 10, āTEXAS HOLD EMā is without a doubt the next top 10, āexesā is ahead of this as well and āBeautiful Thingsā is gaining fast too. I think #11 would be the peak.

I think he'll open with somewhere between 100-150k which would be respectable.

i'll fully admit i could be wrong here but i think there's a nonzero chance the album lowballs and opens up with under 100k ?? just because i feel like he's lost SO much "coolness" since his last era and he strikes me as someone with less hardcore fans then like. a pink or kelly clarkson

Yeah, I actually expect a flop, but would love to be proven wrong. That said, Selfish ages like a fine wine to the point where it's one of my favorite Justin songs. The echoed, layered vocals at the end of the song really get me.
