The choruses in both "Behind these hazel eyes" and "(There's gotta be) More to life" sound alike. In BTHE "I'm torn into pices can't deny it can't pretend" sounds a lot like "than chasing down every temporary high" in More to life.

From both the Pop and Music News forums, I don't think anybody will be able to say this isn't deserved, as they are practically the same damn song:
Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone and Backstreet Boys - Just Want You to Know
Max Martin may have changed his style of production to be more rock-influenced as opposed to his late '90s-early '00s pure teen pop, but he is as devoted to his self-derivative tendencies as ever. I love them both, though. :)

Gretchen Wilson-Redneck Woman "I'm just a product of my raising, I say hey ya and yee haw"
and
Jessica Simpson-These Boots Are Made For Walking "Can I get a soo-wee? Can I get a yee-haw"?
Also, the middle verse of TBAMFW sounds like the bridge/lead into chorus of RW.

"Only You" and "This Love" have similar background music, especially prominent during the chorus. I heard they had the same producer somewhere here.

"Play" by David Banner and "The Whisper Song" by the Ying Yang Twins...
in fact Banner's single is so much like YYT that I initially though that this was their third single from The United States of Atlanta - he definitely bit off their hit.

The verses of "Come To My Window" by Melissa Etheridge and "Who Am I" by Point Of Grace sound somewhat alike. I realized this when I was expecting to hear the lyrics "Keeping my eyes open, I cannot afford to sleep" after the chorus of the Point Of Grace song. When they did not sing those lyrics, I was like, "Oh yeah, that's a different song that I was thinking of!"

Pretty much what everyone else has said, Kelly Clarkson vs. Backstreet Boys and Frankie J vs. Usher. One I discovered the other day was Berlin's "Take My Breath Away" and BEP "Where Is The Love" sound a like, the beginning of BEP and the chorus of Berlin sound very similar, I always knew that darn BEP song (their worst single ever, yet their biggest) sounded like something I'd heard before.

The song that reminds me of "Where Is The Love" is "These Words" by Natasha Bedingfield.

"Beverly Hills" by Weezer reminds me of "I Love Rock and Roll" (Joan Jett and the Blackhearts), "The Joker" (Steve Miller Band) and "The Sweater Song" (Weezer). Sorry if someone mentioned it .. didn't see anything.

I actually read an article where Rivers Cuomo said that "Beverly Hills" came from an 'assignment' the album producer gave him to get himself motivated to write a song to the "We Will Rock You" beat (from Queen). When I think of it it does sound like it, many songs use that basic beat.

The other day Avril Lavigne's "Losing Grip" came on my i-Tunes and I couldn't place it right away and thought the intro was for Kelly Clarkson's "I Hate Myself for Losing You."

The intro of Carrie Underwood's "Some Hearts" sounds very similar to Goo Goo Doll's "Better Days."

The verses to Carrie Underwood's "I Just Can't Live a Lie" sound like LeeAnn Womack's "I Hope You Dance."

That annoying new Jon Bon Jovi song sounds exactly like "It's My Life." Yeah. And I can't stand them.

We were listening to the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack at work yesterday and one of my co-workers commented on how David Shire's "Manhattan Skyline" sounds a lot like the theme from "Love Boat".

Queen & David Bowie - Under Pressure and Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby Even though Vanilla ice denyed that he sampled "Under Pressure"

Totally agree....also everytime I hear that song the beginning of "Move Ya Body"...by Nina Sky and "Culo" from Pitbull...I think they are the exact same song.

That annoying new Jon Bon Jovi song sounds exactly like "It's My Life." I read through this whole thread wondering why no one had mentioned that obvious one yet.
