This new single is penned in for a April 4 release as of now. Hope it's better than all the singles from "Reason."

Judging from the clip, this sounds pretty good to me! :) It's not a theme song for "Pop Idol" or anything, right? I'm sure the music video plans to include some of that reality show stuff judging by the lyrics.

I hope it's not for Pop Idol.
The clip sounds good, but I can't imagine it'll do very well. Another Spice failure.

That's a shame because some have had some pretty decent songs:
Mel C - Never Be The Same Again Mel C - I turn To You Emma - Maybe

It was also posted years ago that "I Turn To You" made Bubbling Under the Billboard Hot 100.

I've heard some of the album and it's safe to say that this is going to be her best. "Last Night On Earth" is a monster hit waiting to happen.

I'm not much of a fan of solo Spice at all, but I've heard some tracks from this album and they're some of the best I've heard from a solo Spice member.

I'm liking the full song. Still don't think it'll be big, but I've seen worse songs do better.

I like it! Except the nasal screaming part at around 2:19.

I like it, it's a decent song. It's very similar to that faux light rock that Kelly Clarkson, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan and Ashlee Simpson have been going for but that's also why I don't think it will do too well in the UK charts because out of the previous list, Ashlee Simpson is about the only one who has managed average sales.

I love Melanie c's new single. It's Melanie at her best. One of her best singles so far although not as good as never be the same again. I love both of her albums Northen Star and Reason. cant wait untill Beautiful Intentions comes out on 11th April. By the way check out the song Beautiful Intentions on www.melaniec.net. you will be able to here a 1 minute clip of a new song every friday. :)

I would NEVER compare Mel C to the likes of Hilary Duff or Lindsay Lohan. If anything her first album was incredibly Madonna inspired with hints of The Beatles and Garbage.
I just heard the 1:15 clip of the song Beautiful Intentions on the site and it's even better than the other ones. This is shaping out to be the best solo Spice work ever.

I compared this ONE song to them and I think the style they have gone for is very similar.

This album is incredible. Never Say Never, Here and Now, and You'll Get Yours are also REALLY good songs. Can't believe she released Next Best Superstar as the first single, it's possibly the weakest song on the album.

ive lisnted to Beautiful Intentions on Melanie's website and its a hit which is waiting to happen i think we can safley say that the album is going to be her best selling of the three. There is a rocky edge to this album by the sound of it. check out the website. www.melaniec.net :) :) :)

I couldn't help but open my big mouth
As I stumbled into you the words fell out
Well you asked me the question and I just couldn't lie
But why did you bother when you knew what you'd find
No no no
I didn't mean to leave you standing in the dark
So blind that I can't decide if you knew that I harboured
Beautiful intentions for you
So cruel that I never knew truly
If you harboured beautiful intentions for me

This is top ten on UK Midweeks. Exact position not yet confirmed but hopefully she can hold.

This is top ten on UK Midweeks. Exact position not yet confirmed but hopefully she can hold. #6. That's one position higher than "Here It Comes Again" debuted at (the first single from second album "Reason"). I personally think it is totally underserving to be charting even there, but I find it kinda funny how she's going to chart lower than Geri's "Ride It" which was #4 a few months back - considering Mel C thinks she is the one who does "the music" out of the Spice Girls Emma, Mel B, Emma and Victoria do "the other stuff". Apparently Mel B might be putting an album out this year or next, but that's another thread completely I think.

Well "HICA" was midweek #4 so this may well end up charting lower
