booo :( Oh well. And since the CD isn't available on any paid download sites, I guess I won't be hearing any of the few ones I'd still wanna hear. Yea I wasn't too happy about the cd. I bought it and its not too bad. Thalia is on it. Lucero is on it even though she backed out of the live show. Ana Gabriel is always singing great. Disappointments is the lack of Graciela Beltran, Olga Tanon, Paulina Rubio and Ana Barbara. Oh and it lacks the deleted Montero song and the Jay Perez/ Bobby Pulido melody. Come on EMI Latin - what were you thinking?!

the lack of Graciela Beltran, Olga Tanon, Paulina Rubio and Ana Barbara. I wanted to hear all those too. :( Ana Barbara looked so hot when she performed "La Carcacha." :o

I kind of like Thalia's rendition now! I'm glad the music is different, too. It makes it a more heartfelt rendition. Tear-jerking. :)

:o Hot Mariah Carey "Loverboy"-like stomach! Not a huge fan of the album cover, but it'll do. :)

you can download the mp3 and mpeg of her performance at: www.shakiramedia.com/the link is in the news section Thanks for the link to the downloads. I really liked the performance and the song. I checked iTunes and the song isn't available yet. Has the song officially been released yet in the U.S.? Also, I am just starting to get into Thalia's music and have downloaded the song Arrasando. Since she has so many CDs out, can someone please recommend some of her best songs for me to check out? ???

Amar Sin Ser Amada was officially released to radio everywhere on May 16.. i'm not sure when it might be available on iTunes
Thalia has a Greatest Hits, i'd suggest any of the songs on there:
Piel Morena María La Del Barrio Amor A La Mexicana Mujer Latina Rosalinda Arrasando Regresa A Mi Entre El Mar Y Una Estrella Tú Y Yo No Me Enseñaste A Quién Le Importa Me Pones Sexy Cerca De Ti

The songs that got me into Thalia were "Regresa A Mi" and "Arrasando," but I only became a fanatic after I heard "Tu Y Yo" (another uptempo) and "No Me Ense~naste" (ballad). I'd recommend any of those.

That's definitely her best album. I'd rank her albums: 1. Amor A La Mexicana 2. Arrasando 3. En Extasis 4. Thalia (2002) (maybe this is #3) 5. Nandito Ako ("Hey, It's Me" is such a JAM! ) 6. Thalia (2003) I probably forgot a couple "Thalia" albums. lol

^ that's my ranking too. Though, I haven't heard Nandito Ako. I would always talk to this Filipina in my Lit. 12 class about Thalia and she told me its a JAM. lol.

i think my order would be: Arrasando Amor A La Mexicana Thalia (2002) En Extasis Thalia (2003) i probably shouldn't include 2003 Thalia since i don't have it, and i haven't heard it all, but of the songs i did hear i can tell it wouldn't be any higher on the list lol i'm thinking of ordering one of those complilation albums of her pre-EMI material, i just gotta decide which one looks the best and in other news, Thalia shot the video for "Amar Sin Ser Amada" last weekend, and according to her official site she's supposed to be looking her sexiest she also recently recorded an english version of the song called "You Know He Never Loved You" i'll reserve judgement until i hear it lol there's also a norteña version of the song which i have if anyone wants me to upload it

Get the pre-EMI collection with the 5 minute version of "En La Intimidad," cuz one of her compilation versions is only like 2:30. It cuts out the Mariah-like adlibs at the end!

I broke down and bought Thalia's greatest hits CD today and I love it! Right now my favorite songs are:
Amor A La Mexicana Arrasando Tú Y Yo No Me Enseñaste A Quién Le Importa
Any updates on how she's doing on Billboard this week?

no Billboard update this week, i found out she wasn't going for US adds until May 23.. so next week it should start doing more.. but it's fourth in Most Increased Plays on R&R's Spanish Contemporary chart this week with +72 spins :) Get the pre-EMI collection with the 5 minute version of "En La Intimidad," cuz one of her compilation versions is only like 2:30. It cuts out the Mariah-like adlibs at the end! ah, thanks.. i think i found a good one.. Serie 32 Disc 1 1. Marimar 2. Pacto Entre los Dos 3. En la Intimidad 4. Maria Mercedes 5. Talisman 6. Mundo de Cristal 7. Madrid 8. Pienso en Ti 9. Love 10. Baile de los Perros y Gatos 11. Bombo de Tu Corazón 12. Saliva 13. Fuego Cruzado 14. Libertad de Expresión 15. Cien Años 16. En Silencio Disc 2 1. Amarillo Azul 2. Vie en Rose 3. Sudor 4. Sangre 5. Poder del Amor 6. Bronceador 7. Aeróbico 8. La Orilla del Mar 9. Dia del Amor 10. Te Necesito 11. Blues Jam 12. Love [1001 Night Club Mix] 13. Jollie Madam 14. Me Matas 15. No Es el Momento 16. Dejame Escapar En La Intimidad is 5:05 on it.. the only bad thing is one review says: "As economical and convenient as this series of albums is, even the slightest bit of liner notes would be beneficial." so i guess there's no liner notes? ah well, for the price and amount of songs it's good enough

Yeah, that's the best one, tracks-wise. So many JAMS on it. You're gonna love "Blues Jam"! (All she does is yell on it. No lyrics.) Hope you like the album! I don't have that one...I got the "Mundo de Cristal" album, which had the 5-minute "En la intimidad" on it.

Even though it doesn't have ALL of my Thalia favorites, there's not a track on there that I don't like. I love them all.

Ok, now that I have the CD I am hoping someone can steer me towards a website that has videos of her performances. I'd like to check them out. I hate not having any Spanish TV. I searched around for about an hour and couldn't find any videos. I didn't realize how lucky Shakira fans were to have Shakiramedia.

That site's good but I wish there was a really great Thalia fan site. I've looked forever and I've never found one that has everything like Shakiramedia does. Maybe I should make one. Heh.

I was so close to making a Thalia site in 2003, but I'm glad I didn't, because it would probably have been dead for the past year. I've been really bad in updating my websites lately.

Has a HQ studio quality mp3 surfaced on a pay service or otherwise?

Thalia was on a Clasicos de Cristina episode last night and she was so animated and funny! I couldn't believe she was like 30 on it. She acted like she was still on Marimar. Nu Old Thalia! She performed "Entre El Mar Y Una Estrella" on it, as well as imitations of other singers (during her interview). Loca!
