Yes, it's still alive but the release date apparently was move due to "Control Myself" what fans are saying is that.... Jennifer said on GMA that she was working on music "on the down" so it seems that an english album isn't out of the question. Basically it all depends on the success of "Control Myself" She should just get over it and release it. I'm sure she doesn't think it'll do that great to begin with since she has lost some of the latin fanbase she had. She doesn't record spanish songs anymore and she doesn't promote her music in countries like Mexico or even go to latin shows like Cristina etc. At least, Rebirth was huge here it sold amazingly well and Hold You Down and Get Right got massive airplay so I'm guessing that whatever happens I'm still gonna see her again and hopefully another concert isn't out of the question "get right" and "hold you down" got massive airplay??? where do you live?? Are you talking about the US? As I recall, "get right" flopped (it was later revealed by the lawsuit brought against Sony that they paid for radio stations to play her song) and we won't even get into what happened to "hold you down". Jennifer has a lot of work to do.

I'm not blind I know Hold You Down bombed. I meant here, as Puerto Rico. Both songs and her album were MASSIVE here in P.R.
And that Sony lawsuit, don't bring that up. The lawsuite NEVER said which song was, neither said the whole airplay. Get Right was a minor-hit on radio but it got great downlods, that's why it peaked at #12.
The work is already done.....

Are you sure? Take Jennifer Lopez's awful record, "Get Right," with its shrill horn and lifted rap. It's now clear that was a "bought" sensation when it was released last winter. So, too, were her previous "hits" "I'm Glad" and "I'm Real," according to the memos. All were obtained by Sony laying out dough and incentives. It's no surprise. There isn't a person alive who could hum any of those "songs" now. Not even J-Lo herself.Full article: www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,163537,00.html (cut and paste link above if you want to read the article above) Another article: entertainment.tv.yahoo.com/entnews/eo/20050726/112236336000.html

Whatever comes from foxnews related to Jennifer is bullshit.
The article doesn't say Sony bought the whole airplay of the song. You're assuming with no facts other than 63 spins.
I'm Glad was sooo bought that it hit 32 and it went down like a rocket.
And um, the song might've had some payola on airplay but the song got huge download. So there are lots of "alive people" that did liked the song.

I'm not saying it's just Jennifer... but in fact Sony did pay for her airplay... that's a fact... the reason they pay for airplay is to promote the song... so obviously the more airplay the more downloads the song will have... so... it would be interesting to see how "get right" would've done without payola... we'll never know...

Get Right peaked thanks to downlods not airplays, the song didn't even did that good at airplay to begin with. It peaked at #12 and the week after it went down like 7 spots.

Wel it would make sense to wait just to see what happens with CM. I highly doubt it will make a dent though. It sounds good, but it doesnt do much for me on first listen. As for the spanish album, I also highly doubt that Thalia and Jenny.Lo did a song together.
