Dia De Enero is the third song this week with more increased Airplay (40 spins) on Spanish Contemporary Radio . This indicates that this is the third single from Fijacion Oral 1.

Not was I was hoping for single #3.
But it'll probably grow on me as a single like with "No".

JAM! I used to hate it but now I love it. It's a jam all the way! Beautiful lyrics.

it was always one of the ones i liked best on the album.. i'm just wondering if it's actually official, or if radio just decided to pick up on it on their own.. seems strange they would wait til long to release a third single

Horrible choice for a third single, after the success of the ballad "No". "No" did really well throughout Latin America going to #1 in most countries, but they need an upbeat song to help promote album sales. This is just an awful choice. If it's going to be a single, it should be the 5th and final single.

It's definitely a ballad and isn't going to win any new fans IMO. La Pared or Las de la Intuicion is something new and different for Shakira to release. I am really disappointed by this choice, as it is one of the only songs I really don't care for on FO1. It's definitely a safe and uninteresting single release IMO.

"Dia De Enero" is the single best track from "Fijacion Oral vol. 1".
Even I am surprised they chose this as the third single, since it's arguably the least immediate track from the album, but I love it when they push quality over quantity, and this is some of Shakira's best poetry ever.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Dia De Enero is very radio friendly, unlike No. I love DDE, but would've prefered La Pared as single 3.

La Pared should've been the 2nd single to begin with. Escondite Ingles should've been the 3rd single and the 4th Dia De Enero or any other song but whatever.

Dia De Enero was on the New & Active Songs this week on the Spanish Contemporary Chart with 3 stations playing the song 122 times. Hopefully, it will make the actual chart next week.

Dia de Enero debuts this week on the Pulse 100 Chart ( The official chart of this forum) at #99 That is kind of cool...
Other latin songs on the chart include: No Shakira at #61 and Para Tu Amor Juanes at #74
Post your own personal chart on the personal chart section so more latin songs show up on the Pulse 100.

Some cell phone commercial on a spanish radio station said that "you can listen to songs with this new phone, like the new Shakira single "Las de la Intuicion". and then they played the song in the background.
I was like WTF? ???

They are so organized with the single releases from FO/OF So true! At times I feel this whole era has been rushed / unorganized / unplanned, etc.... Hopefully with the NEXT album(s) (whenever that may be), things will go smoother.

Estoy Aqui | 2 Inevitable | 3 Donde Estas Corazon | 5
Se Quiere Se Mata | 8 No Creo | 9
No | 11 Antologia | 15 Te Aviso, Te Anuncio (Tango) | 16
Ojos Asi | 22 Moscas En La Casa | 25 Te Dejo Madrid | 45 Dia De Enero | 46

Sony is either really cheap or Shakira is blind.
The video she's done with that guy are horrible, both of them. They looked SO cheap and this one is no difference.....

^^ I Agree.
I don't think there's ever been a Shakira video I liked. "Ciega, Sordomuda" and "Obejection (Tango) " had some memorable parts, but overall, they were kinda dumb.
I guess "Inevitable" is the only video I like just because I love the song so much.
