Billboard:
ARTIST: AMY WINEHOUSE
SINGLE: VALERIE (RCA)
It's a shame that American pop radio has ignored a recent reissue of Amy Winehouse's "You Know I'm No Good," the follow-up to her Grammy-winning smash "Rehab." Meanwhile, producer Mark Ronson collaborated with the old-soul singer for "Valerie" (not Steve Winwood's 1987 hit), complete with all sorts of classic instruments, relentless syncopation and loose delivery from our tabloid ingenue. In the United Kingdom and numerous other countries, it's her biggest hit.

I have always loved this song and I had the cd several months before the US picked up on this. I must say her and Corrine Bailey Rae really have sold alot of records without a really huge hit songs. Rehab was huge don't get me wrong but her follow-up didn't really take up.

I know, I got Mark Ronson's album the week it came out and immediately fell in love with "Valerie" so it's a shame it didn't get a chance in the states. Im excited for her new material whenever that is coming though and I dont think she needs hits to sell albums because her albums are so good and high quality from start to finish.
