oh...well Im not counting STC since the real album version hasnt leaked...only remixes that she herself has denounced as not the actual song...but yah I feel yah It doesn't really sound like a Remix though. Well regardless of what it sounds like, it is in fact a remix. She said so herself. Check her myspace if you want to see it from her. The real version hasnt leaked. Only a snippet, which sounds completely different.

I remember seeing Ellen do some shows over the summer once though. There weren't many though. I think it was some sort of Summer Special something or other.

Michelle Williams Opens Up About Her 'Unexpected' Look By Thailan Pham Originally posted Monday April 07, 2008 10:00 AM EDT Michelle Williams Photo by: Music World Entertainment / Columbia Records For Michelle Williams Unexpected isn't just the name of her upcoming album – her new look is enough to make fans glance twice. The singer recently debuted a trendy shoulder-length cut and side-swept bangs, a fresh update on the long locks of her gospel days. "I figured I have to do unexpected things," she said on Thursday at a private listening party for her new music. On the topic of the edgy style – hot pink heels and skinny pants – she's sporting in the latest promo photos, she added, "It's very much how I am at home. You know, jeans and a tank top." The club-ready beats of her upcoming single, "We Break the Dawn” (co-written by Solange Knowles and previewed first on People.com) have already gotten a thumbs up from her mom, who told her, "You need songs those kids in the club can dance to!" as well as from her Destiny's Child pals Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland. "They're excited; they've heard the album." But for now, she says she's looking forward to walking into a club and hearing her own music being played: "I feel like I'm a first-time artist." Michelle Williams Gets Permission to Release New 'Unexpected' Album "This is my second draft," former Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams told the BoomBox of her new album dubbed 'Unexpected,' due in stores August 12. The singer admits to having a completed project until her mother called her out for sticking to her old sound. "These kids need something to dance to," Williams' mother said after hearing her first draft, which was less of the bass-heavy, dance tracks she eventually recorded for 'Unexpected' and more of her former soulful, gospel sound. Her mother's retort gave the singer the courage to go back in the studio and record tracks that represented her fun, playful side. "She gave me that permission," the singer explained. "It opened me up. Nobody can say anything because my mother told me I can do it." Williams went on to joke about her love for all genres of music and she admitted feeling like she's often pigeonholed as just a gospel artist or one-third of the best-selling female group. "I love all types of music, so if I wanna do bluegrass ... that's what I'll do!" Williams joked. www.theboombox.com/2008/04/04/michelle-williams-gets-permission-to-release-new-unexpected-al

In The Studio with Michelle Williams and Robin Thicke Posted on April 8, 2008 5:26 PM Since DJ Mars blessed us with a blog all the way from Japan yesterday, I decided to hold off on posting this one. Now it’s time to play catch up. Last week, I had the opportunity to hear new music from both Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child and Robin Thicke. michelle-williams.jpg Let’s start off with Michelle first. On Thursday the folks at Columbia/Music World held an intimate gathering for her at the legendary Electric Lady Studios. They treated members of the press to appetizers, wine and a first listen to Michelle’s new album. Matthew Knowles and Michelle actually went around the room and shaking hands and thanking everyone for coming. Michelle was super excited about the new album. She danced along to most of the tracks and kept talking about how much fun she had recording. Since her days in Destiny’s Child, Michelle has released two solo gospel albums but now she’s back on the secular side of things with a new album titled, Unexpected. I would say Unexpected is about half pop/dance tracks and half R&B style tracks that you would expect from a member of DC. It sounds good though and it’s just different enough to have major crossover appeal. It's scheduled to drop in August.

Awww, she's gorgeous, she just doesn't have an appeal outside of Destiny's Child, imo. I'm curious to see how well she'll perform, though.
