too bad he cant do a peter saves paris hilton's career mix! p.s. that peter webmaster is not very nice! i just went and read what he said and he was calling the madonna site a moron lol. maybe if peter would actually update his own website more frequently, then bad info wouldn't make the rounds. The word on the street is that Paris is going to record another album. This time, it will be Dance-oriented.

Junkie XL was on Dutch national TV last night. He spoke of his new single, and - more importantly - about his remix of 4 Minutes. In the studio, he demonstrated bits of the actual creative process - adding bass, piano and guitar lines to the vocal track - and then played about 4 seconds of the final result....which sounded AMAZING, better than the original! You can catch the show here at www.dewerelddraaitdoor.vara.nl - scroll about 38'35" into the show for the start of the interview, and 44'55" for the 4 Minutes bit. from madonnalicious.com

Madge's vocals sound great reverbed like that.

from Billboard:
'4 MINUTES' OF FAME
Hi Keith,
Madonna just released her new single "4 Minutes" featuring Justin Timberlake. Do you think American radio stations will play it along with other singles from her upcoming album "Hard Candy?" They shamelessly ignored (her last album) the great "Confessions on a Dancefloor."
This time she collaborated with Timbaland, Pharrell and of course Timberlake. Will this fact entice U.S. radio to put Madonna back onto the airwaves where she belongs?
Micheal Alexander Boston
Hi Michael,
It seems like the magic combination of Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland is already working. In "4 Minutes'" first three days of radio release, 60 monitored U.S. radio stations played it seven times or more. That includes WIHT Washington, D.C. (29 spins), KHJZ Houston, Texas (29 spins), WKXS Boston (22 spins) and WHTZ New York (19 spins).
Next week it will likely debut on the CHR/Top 40 airplay chart in our sister publication Radio & Records. It also has a chance of debuting on The Billboard Hot 100 as well.
We'll see if radio stations continue to embrace "4 Minutes" in the coming weeks. It wouldn't be unusual for stations to back off a song after an initial flurry of activity, especially if the song doesn't react well with a station's audience.
On a side note, "4 Minutes" will not only be released as a digital download in the coming weeks, but it will also be granted a physical single release in the U.S. The remixes of "4 Minutes," crafted by Tracy Young, Bob Sinclair and Junkie XL, will be released on CD Maxi, 12" vinyl and of course digitally.
Madonna's "Hard Candy" album drops April 29.

it worries be peter's mixes are not mentioned They probably don't know he's done the mixes. In the past, they have mentioned mixes that would be on a project and then when the release happens, those mixes don't end up being included.

ok i'm bored so i was just researching madonna's BB dance history and in the past 10 years, she has had the top three #1 singles in terms of staying power. "music" was #1 for 5 weeks, "ray of light" and "hung up" were both #1 for 4 weeks; "keep control" by sono was also #1 for 4 weeks. pretty impressive for madonna on a chart we all know is super fickle!

International 2 track CD (babypak) #2-471356 0-5439-19939-4-6 01. 4 Minutes (Album Version) 02. 4 Minutes (Bob Sinclar Space Funk Remix)
International Maxi CD (slimline jewelcase) #2-471420 0-9362-49868-2-9 01. 4 Minutes (Album Version) 02. 4 Minutes (Bob Sinclar Space Funk Remix) 03. 4 Minutes (Junkie XL Remix)

I had a feeling the Junkie XL and Bob Sinclar ones were for the overseas release of it.

question: how come you have to give credit for that? i mean isn't that probably something that he just cut and pasted from some other site or something? just curious....

question: how come you have to give credit for that? i mean isn't that probably something that he just cut and pasted from some other site or something? just curious.... Last year, I was accused of copying and pasting exclusive info from that board (and other places) and passing it off as my own, by the very people whose stuff I allegedly lifted. So in order to "protect" myself, I give the credit. And if the info turns out to be wrong, inaccurate, or incomplete, I'm just the messenger, not the source. I got a taste of what I was doing when a certain person copied and pasted some of my posts verbatim (along with my opinion) and passed it off as his own at a couple boards and on a blog. I was annoyed so I began putting invisible text into the posts. The guy got the hint after that.

I see. I was just asking because most of the time when I see Madonna info on that board, it is cut and pasted directly from one of the Madonna site(drowned, tribe, licious) and this looks like something that that person probably c and p'ed from SOMEWHERE. If it was something that looked like it was personally written, I could understand...but since I doubt gutja for example actually wrote all those tracklistings himself, I just didn't know it needed to be attributed to him. by all means, protect yourself though! :)

yeah, gutja just cut and pasted that from www.madonnatribe.com so if you wanna REALLY give credit, you should give it to MT lol

from MadonnaTribe:
The U.S. CD maxi tracklisting:
01. Bob Sinclar Space Funk Remix 5:39 02. Junkie XL Remix 6:16 03. Tracy Young House Mix 7:55 04. Peter Saves Paris Remix 8:37 05. Rebirth Remix 7:57 06. Junkie XL Dirty Dub 4:52
Why is there only one Peter Rauhofer mix? Why is there only one Tracy mix?

well i remember one of the "american life" cd singles only had his part one mix, but a second cd single had both. maybe they'll do something along those lines. i will say though often times, only one peter mix is released and it's usually the inferior mix for some reason(see mariah "we belong together" and nelly furtado "say it right" for example)

Or some of the mixes will be on the CD maxi and the additional mixes will be available for digital download through like AmazonMP3 or iTunes. Tracklistings for the singles can always change at the last minute so, let's hope for the best.

I remember there are two US singles of American life. 1st is 2-track single 1. american life 2. die another day calderone mix That one was the only one I ever saw in the stores here. Eventually they had the import editions. One part had a blue cover and the other was red. That single was nice for the Calderone mix though.

There are always too many editions for one Madonna single. I usually need to compare the tracklist carefully before buying them.

I have a feeling the additional Rauhofer mixes, if released, will be available digitally. There are always too many editions for one Madonna single. I usually need to compare the tracklist carefully before buying them. For the most part, the U.S. editions have been comprehensive, though occasionally, the Japanese editions have a lot on them. I haven't seen the tracklistings for her last few singles that were released there (if they were at all). I was hoping the Radio Edit would be included on the U.S. edition since I don't like the Album Version. SWEET-the tracy young edit will be a bonus track on the Special Edition of Hard Candy! Cool! I wonder if there are any other bonuses on that particular edition. I may end up getting that one if there are enough things on it that make up for the difference in cost.

there's some other mix edit, i forget by whom(no one i'm interested in.) there is a bones track on the japanese album called "ring my bell" but it isn't on the US special edition; it'll probably show up on one of the cd singles though if I had to guess

i think i will grab the US special edition since I have bought her US special editions through out the years.
And yeah, i don't like the album version of 4 mins too. The intro and outro suck.
